Video attachments not appearing in iCloud mail

I use my Apple email on my iMac, and have iCloud email as one of my account. The problem I'm having is that when people often send me a video to watch, the attachment does not come through. It used to. I used to be able to watch videos right in the message but now, the attachment isn't even there. Anyone know why this would be happening and what setting to change to fix it? I can't find it despite my best efforts. I am using OS X Yosemite. Thanks!

Sorry for the delay in replying. I have cut and pasted the bits from two differnet emails. On the first I can see the attachment and on the second I can't. I hope these are the right bits - let me know if not. Many Thanks.

I tried to configure my mac to enable it to receive mails in the notification center but cant. i have tried to send an email from other IDs but havent received any banner or alert while using my mac. i have checked the show alerts and banners in notification center. Do i have to keep the window of the mail app in a specific position to receive alerts in the notification centre? Also, the gears are not appearing in the mail app when i fetch for new mail. please help..

Notifications receives alerts from Reminders app, but not Mail.
I've set preferences in Mail for 'Inbox Only' and 'All Mailboxes', sent test mail from ISP webmail and Google (Mail is not setup to receive from this account) - still no notifications.
I had previously used Growl (v1.4) and GrowlMail very successfully (with 10.7), but while upgrading to Mountain Lion I was informed that GrowlMail was incompatible so I deleted it.
While testing this problem of not receiving Mail Notifications I have disabled Growl and rebooted.
Like others here:

Rebuilt permissions
Rebooted

Photos taken on my Iphone do not appear in ICloud. I've checked the settings but am unable to determine
what, if anything, I need to do inorder to syn the photos.
Technically, I need to review the settings on my Iphone and ICloud that will enable a seamless transfer of photos.
Additionally, I need to review the computer (microsoft)setting that enable a sync of photos with ICloud.

Everything is fine, because there is no web application for photos at the moment. These are the options to view your Photo Stream:
-On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, your photos will appear in the Photos app in the Photo Stream album.
-On your Mac, they appear in the Photo Stream view in iPhoto or Aperture.
-On a PC, your photos download to the Photo Stream download folder. By default, this folder is located at C:\Users\Apple\Pictures\Photo Stream\My Photo Stream. You can change this location by visiting Photo Stream Options in the iCloud Control Panel for Windows.
-On Apple TV, your photos will appear in the Photo Stream view under Internet in the main Apple TV menu after you sign in with your iCloud account.

Videos do not appear on IN Videos list

I have purchased several videos from the iTunes music store. NONE of the appear in my iTunes "video" list.
They appear in my purchased list. They appear in my library. I can watch the videos without problem. I am warned about adding videos to music playlists.
I cannot drag videos to the video list. Purchased videos do not appear in my video list.
I have created a standard playlist and moved all of my videos there.
Has anyone else seen this?

Do the amounts appear on report CJID? I believe the WBS will not appear on the Settled values report, because it's already shown on the error list and the settlement on the WBS is not complete yet. What is the error on the WBS anyway?

my pics and videos do not appear in the video browser? How do I get it back. I may have denied IMovie access to my pics and videos when opening the app for the first time.

I have the same issue (iPad 3, iOS 6). I have tried to:
-erase all projects on the iMovie
-reset the iPad
-uninstall iMovie and reinstall it
None of these three things worked and I am at lost in terms of what else can be done.
All that happens when I start a new project is that under "videos" there is a big black box (empty videos). Same thing for pictures. When I press the camera button to insert a video from the camera, this works no problem. However, I used to be able to insert videos/pictures from my Camera Roll.

My videos are not appearing through AppleTv. I hear the music but no video. However, my music videos are ok and regular movies are ok. The videos I created are the issue. They were running ok until I updated the software for AppleTV.

hey, same thing happended to me, i transfer some videos and worked perfectly, then i transfer more videos and the first ones showed up without that icon u said, that designates that they are videos, and when i play them they where just sound, no video, then i plug ipod back to pc and now the new videos dont show up with the icon!! and they are not on the videos section, i think they are lost on the ipod mixed with music files.
what can i do bout this?

Sent mail not appearing in icloud

I use my macbook air, iphone and my ipad to send mail from my @me.com account. But when i send an email from my macbook it does not appear in the sent mail folder on icloud. The iphone and ipad both work properly if i send mail from either device it appears in the icloud sent mail folder.
I've been trough the settings on my macbook and have the "Store sent messages on sever" option ticked, and the email accoutn is set up as an IMPA account but it still doesn't work.
Any ideas how to fix this?

Same here! Works on my iPad, iPhone and MacAir. But on my PowerMac the sent mail doesn't show up at all. I can't even find the messages I've tried to send so I can try retype them and resend on my iPhone.
Does your "sent" folder continually beach ball? Mine is non-stop beach balls. Like it's trying really hard to update the sent folder but ran into a Sysiphus stone.

Mail: Why do some emails, sent with attachments, not appear in the Sent category

Occasionally I will send an email to four different addressees. The email contains an attachment in pages format, word format and pdf formal. Though it is sent and though it is received by at least one of those to whom it is addressed, it does not appear as sent, in the Sent Mailbox. Why is this and what can be done to get all sent emails to appear as Sent?

ICloud Mail Sent with iPad Not Appearing in Sent Mail

Hi Everyone,
For for the past few days, the email messages that I've sent with my iPad using my iCloud address do not appear in the iCloud Sent mail folder my iMac. But if I send an iCloud mail using my iMac, it does appear in the iCloud Sent mail folder on both devices. This problem does not occur using other IMAP accounts on my iPad. What's going on?
The other thing that may be relevant is that there appear to be two Sent mail folders that appear in the iCloud account on my iPad. One is Sent with the paper airplane icon and the other is Sent Messages with a folder icon. On my iMac, there is only the Sent mail folder with the paper airplane icon. Curiously, on the iMac have see some sent messages from both of those sent mail folders from the iPad.
I'm now concerned that some important iPad messages may not have been sent, and I now must backtrack and resend them.

IOS 8.1 Does Not Download All iCloud Mail/ Keeps Cache?

I have setup and enabled an iCloud e-mail account on all of my devices and was successfully able to use the Mail app in Mac OS X Yosemite to copy mail from my Yahoo! inbox to my iCloud inbox. All e-mail copied from Yahoo! Mail appears in the OS X Yosemite Mail app as well as in the iCloud.com site, however, my iPad Air 2 and iPhone 5 both running iOS 8.1 does not download all of the mail from iCloud. I have tried the following on both iOS 8.1 devices with no success.
- Disable iCloud mail and re-enable
- Sign completely out of iCloud and sign in again, then reconfigure all iCloud services including mail
The result of both steps is that the incomplete list of e-mail in the iCloud inbox just reappears in the Mail app instead of downloading from iCloud again. It looks like the incomplete list of e-mail is stored on the iOS device and signing out of or disabling iCloud mail just hides it; re-enabling or signing in merely shows it again. This appears to work differently than my Yahoo! Mail configuration where if I sign out of or delete the Yahoo! account and reconfigure, iOS downloads a fresh copy of all e-mail in the inbox and all other folders. Here are my two questions:
- How do I get my iPhone and iPad Air 2 to download ALL e-mail from my iCloud mail account?
- Are my suspicions true? Does iOS actually store a cached copy of iCloud mail on the device when the service is disabled and just "redisplays" it when re-enabled?

Probably your iCloud isn't working too.
