Video autoplays in Firefox when shouldn't

Autoplay is set to "false" when exporting the movie. In IE
this is fine, but for some reason Firefox autoplays the video. I
have 3 videos on the same page, so this can not happen! If anyone
has any advice about this that would be terrific.

Hey,
The problem has been identified. It was actually user error
from a friend who was checking it for me in Firefox and reporting
the problem. It turns out they were checking the wrong page! Thanks
for offering to look into this for me.

The warning about the warranty is light hearted, I think at one stage it warned "here be dragons" but also intended to make us think as it warns that making changes may produce problems.

That's Great If I Want To Download The Video, But I Don't, I Just Want To Watch It There On The Site. I Just Now Downloaded Firefox Because I've Heard So Many Great Things About It. This Site (Liveleak) Was The First Site I Went To After Downloading, So It's Of To A Bad Start With Me For Firefox. This Site Works Fine In Internet Explorer No Problems Whatsoever, So Its Not The Site.

Sounds that you are missing the plugin that is used to play those videos embedded in Firefox.<br />
Your system details list doesn't show any media player plugin, so you will either have to check if the plugin(s) are installed, but disabled or install missing plugins.

You may need the new WMP plugin (np-mswmp.dll) because Flash always uses a dedicated player to play the videos and would never offer to save videos directly unless an extension is used.

Video Autoplay when Interactive button added

I am having an issue with a video slide auto playing when a interactive button is added.
From the first slide of the project I have an interactive index that jumps to different slides. When it jumps to another slide the video slide will auto play, but when adding an interactive button to jump back to the home page the video no longer auto plays.
I have added SS to show the index and the video slide.

Just a guess here, but typically a button has a pause built into it. So you may need to check and adjust exactly where the pause is occurring.

How can I prevent embedded videos from playing automatically when I open a webpage?

When I go to a web page, such as when I click around to different stories on msn.com, there is often an embedded video. Sometimes it is a commercial. Sometimes it's something else. But it just starts playing all by itself, which can be loud and startling. I'd like videos to play only when I select them. Is there a way to make it prevent the auto-play?

Javascript error for instagram videos only in firefox

I still have no luck with anyone having a solution to this issue , which started with Firefox 35.1 and today Firefox did a 36.0 update and the issue is still not fixed
Issue , i try to watch videos from Instagram on a motorcycle forum , and on riders own pages and they wont play weather i click on the link to Instagram itself where the video is , or if its embedded into the forum topic (i do not , nor have i ever had a Instagram account , but was always able to view the videos until the 35.01 update) and the video shows up , but when you click on the arrow in the middle of the video to play it , the video just sits there and does nothing , in the lower corner of the web page , right above my taskbar , i see " javascript;" , so i am guessing its some javascript issue , but Oracal does not show any issues , and it only happens in Firefox , Google Chrome plays the same video fine , this is a example of the videos i am trying to watch but wont play

I have tried fixes that have been suggested (this is another post i made but help has been limited) https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1046495 , but they do nothing (resetting firefox , disabling add-ons , all the normal "try this" solutions do nothing) , any actual solutions to this issue ?? , i would really like to be able to watch these types of videos again , i don't understand why this is even a issue , it worked before 35.01 and since it has not , so the issue IS with Firefox , it needs to be addressed , Thanks .... There might not be a need for two Java plugins, in order to remove the vulnerable one:
# Open in a url bar about:plugins
# Next to the Java plugin marked vulnerable click "Remove"

Javascript is a bit different from Java.

The web console is a web developer tool used to look at what makes the webpage. Since the video is not playing, something is blocking it. It can be permissions, an extension, hardware acceleration etc. Usually an error message in the console can give a clue. It is located in Tools > Web Developer > Web Console

Fans run watching video, but don't when using Safari

I am curious as to why the silverlight plugin ramps the fans up (3k+ rpm) when I am watching prime video's in Firefox, but when watching the same video's in Safari, the fans a pretty much the standard 2000 (2k - 1.5k) rpm.
Happens with youtube too. Safari and web videos is way quieter and I guess I just don't understand why the difference.
Is there a way to get FF to throw a little less power at these video's so as to not light the fans off so much? It can really drown out the video audio depending on what it is. As it is, I use Safari for watching video's, but hate having to have 2 browsers open.

Well, I was just into my macbook not long ago changing out the battery and the key board. The back light stopped working on mine in places.
Either way, I know its clean, because I actually had the opportunity to check it.
I have XRG 1.7.3 that I use to watch the temps and stuff like fan speed.
Safari running the videos uses a good amount of CPU (~70% - 90%) and CPU die temp of 71C, where Firefox will run the CPU clear up to the 150%+ range and a die temp of 85+C.
The second I stop the video, I see the case temps (sensor1,2,3) start to drop pretty quickly. Is there a different version of Silverlight for firefox that is different from Safari's? I'm stuck with Silverlight for the Amazon Prime stuff.
Pretty much, video in Firefox sends the case temps to somewhere around 39-42C, nothing crazy, but with the die temps, enough to kick the fans up to the 3500-4000 rpm range watching the videos.
Safari on the other had shows case temps around 30-32C and fans that sit steady at 1999- 2048 rpm watching the videos.

YouTube and videos slow on Firefox

Hi, I have tried to resolve this on my own, but i couldn't so please, help me.
I'm having BIG troubles trying to reproduce any video in YouTube. When i try to watch something, the video goes terribly slow, with continuos jumps and hangs, however the audio still is being reproduce perfectly.
I have the last Adobe Flash Player version installed, if i go here http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html it says it. But the animation i should see in that page to check if everything is ok, is really slow, and it has those jumps, the same than youtube.
I have tried to unistall, and install it again, but it doesn't work.
My computer is: Windows 7 64 bits, AMD FX 6300 6 core, GTX 650, 8 Gb RAM, motherboard ASRock 980DE3/U3S3 i'm using Firefox 35. and last version of flash player.
By the way, if i tri to use Chrome, it works I believe it's because Chrome has it installed by default, so the problem it's just with Firefox (or games than nead Flash player installed)

If that doesn't work, your best short-term option is probably to use Chrome.

I cannot watch video's. When I try, it prompt's me to download Adobie plug in. The plug-in look's like it is downloading. But after it is done, I still cannot watch video's. Even after closing firefox and reopening it. I cannot watch video's on firefox.

That's probably a bookmark you have saved in Favorites.
Tap bookmark icon>Favorites>Edit>Delete the bookmark

Flash Video doesn't work when burned to CD?

I'm using Flash 8.0 pro. I've exported a video as swf and
html and it plays fine from my desktop but the video doesn't load
when burned to a cd-r. If I click on the swf file I get nothing.

the URL bar say specifically?
