Video Call Stopped Working

On Tuesday (12-9-14) I had a video call with a friend in Romania and it worked fine. Since then, video calling has stopped working. Leave a message has stopped working too. I can see myself on the screen so I know my camera is working, so that doesn't seem to be a problem. I am thoroughly confused as to why it just stopped working. I have checked and I have the most current version of skype. Thanks for any assistance.

Try to reset all Skype settings.
Quit Skype or use Windows Task Manager to kill any Skype.exe process. Go to Windows Start and in the Search/Run box type %appdata% and then press Enter or click the OK button. The Windows File Explorer will pop up. There locate a folder named “Skype”. Rename this folder to something different, e.g. Skype_old.
Next go to Windows Start and in the Search/Run box type %temp%\skype and then press Enter or click the OK button. Delete the DbTemp folder.
Restart Skype.
N.B. If needed, you will still be able to re-establish your call and chat history. All data is still saved in the Skype_old folder.

Possibly the graphic driver hung and therefore you received this message.
Its also possible that the GPU temperature was too high and therefore the message appeared.
The COC 4 needs a lot of hardware resources and everything must run with full performance! Therefore there is higher heat dissipation and this can lead to graphic card issues.

Microsoft Lync 2013 is supported with the following caveats at this time:
◦Drag and drop from the Microsoft Lync contact list is not supported.
◦Click to Call from Microsoft Office 2013 is not supported.
◦Escalation from a Microsoft Lync group chat session to a voice or video call is not supported.
◦Microsoft Lync 2013 update KB2760512 must be installed.
Note Microsoft Lync 2013 64 bit is not supported.
Drag and Drop with Lync 2010 works still.

I can receive some files, but cannot send files. Other people can video chat with me and I can see them, but they can't see me. My built-in camera works just fine for other purposes, so I know it's not an issue with my camera. I've also noticed that a lot of Mac users seem to be having trouble with Skype lately. I've checked my audio/video preferences for Skype and my computer's camera preferences, and everything is as it should be. Does anyone know how to fix this?

In addition to these steps, I recommend, BEFORE emptying the trash:
Go to: [User]/Library/Preferences (hold the "Option" key when clicking "Go" from the Finder menu to reveal the hidden Library folder)
Trash the ENTIRE Macromedia folder from there

Is there any way of fixing this? I've tried the usual: triple checked all vga cables & devices through trial & error. Bought a new DVI-VGA adapter. Reset PRAM, PMU, etc. Nothing works. Something is probably damaged, because my KVM switch was not working unless I hot-reseated the vga cable into it, leading to this DVI port, and that is pretty rough stuff.
Question 2 (related):
This dovetails into this: Can I drive a VGA monitor with the s-video output port on this computer. It would take an s-video (male)-to-15-pin-VGA adapter. Has anyone does this? So far, I haven't even found the adapter mentioned anywhere.

Thanks for the useful feedback, Knucklesmac. I agree. I must have blown something on the logic board -- because I had a faulty old KVM switch that would not switch between computers without some nasty hot-plugging/unplugging the VGA video cables. (wince!). It's like when Dizzy Dean ruined his arm because a line drive hit him in the foot and he readjusted his mechanics around the injury. I take the blame because this has been a great computer, and does not deserve any blame.

I've been working on this all day!!! I've tried everything I know of and can't get it to load either. Sounds like lots of people are having problems. Here is what I have so far...I have uninstalled EVERYTHING on my pc from apple and reinstalled itunes to no avail. I have tried all sorts of things I've read as fixes online. NOTHING has worked. Here is something interesting that i have noticed though. my main pc (which is the one i have always managed my itunes account with for years) is a 32 bit system running windows 7. Yesterday I installed itunes for the first time on my new netbook which is a 64 bit (windows 7) system and it works just fine. i have three other laptops (all window 7) in my household that are all 64 bit operating systems and ALL have updated to 10.5 and THEY ALL work fine. this is FOUR 64 bit systems ALL updated w/10.5 that work and ONE that is a 32 bit that will not. Can't get any help from apple. their suppot *****! I want to get someone on the **** phone or a live chat but cant. *** APPLE????? please let mw know if you find SOMETHING i can try next. I'm out of ideas and patience!

Just to correct GerdW - the vis of a polymorphic vi do not have to have the same output.
Have a look at the vis I attached. I just pass a dbl to a polymorphic vi and get a dbl in one vi and a string in the other.
The real problem is that the vi has to be set to the necessary type. If there are different inputs you just can wire them to the polymorphic vi, but this does not work with the outputs, so you have to set the type.

1. What version of Premiere Elements are you using and on what computer operating system is it running?
2. If you say that "Video Share" stopped working, what specific export route and settings were you using when the crash occurred and at what stage of the export?
3. How did you set up your project
a. What are the properties of the source media...video and audio compression, frame size, frame rate, interlaced or progressive, file extension, pixel aspect ratio? What is the duration of the Timeline content?
b. What project preset did you or the project set to match the properties of the source media. If you do not know, please see Edit Menu/Project Settings/General and the readings for Editing Mode, Timebase, Frame Size, and Pixel Aspect Ratio, even if they appear to be grayed out?
4. Basics
a. Are you running the program Run As Administrator and from User Account with Administrative Privileges?
b. Do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer with Premiere Elements?
c. Is your video card/graphics card up to date according to the web site of the manufacturer of the card? How many video/graphic cards does your computer use, 1 or 2?
c. What is the description for your computer and its resources?
There is no one answer fits all for this type of question, and the answers are in the details that are lacking here.

You don't, none of the Roland sounds are ever transferred to Logic.
MIDI has nothing to with sound, it's only a trigger that activates the sounds in the Roland.
I have a couple of 1080's in a rack, their audio outputs run into a mixing desk, from there they can be routed to my audio card inputs.

Video (Camera) stops working after a few seconds (Windows XP)

On starting a video call on Skype, the person I am connecting with can see me in the video. I cannot see them - only a still picture. Then within a few seconds the camera stops working, and a line appears through the camera icon. Skype suggests that there is another application using the camera - but there is no other program using the camera. The camera remains unusable until I quit Skype and restart it... but once again it will only display my video for 4 or 5 seconds. The camera is a fairly new Logitech HD webcam C525, and the computer is running Windows XP. Skype reports that it is the latest version of the program. Any help gratefully received!

configured for "No action"? Why? What is their purpose if you are
doing nothing when they are clicked?
You also said the buttons aren't pausing. If the buttons
aren't pausing the slide, it is probably simply playing and ending.
Sounds like you are expecting the slide to pause, so I'm confused
as to why you removed the pause action from the buttons.
