Video chat error 8

Question

Hello,
My computer is hooked up to my school ethernet system. I just bought a new computer with leopard and the built-in camera, which works fine. I've been trying to chat with my friend who has comcast high-speed internet service (with a netgear wireless router). When I initiate the chat, her ichat tells her that the connection failed because the "IP address was invalid" and mine says that I "did not receive a response" from her. Even when she initiates the chat, hers says that she "did not respond," while mine still says that i "did not recieve a response."
I'm not sure if you can tell if hte problem is on my end or hers from the error log i've posted below...but I've also been unable to connect to my other friend on video chat either so I'm really wondering if it's on my side too.
We've both changed the ichat port in ichat preferences to 443. We've changed quicktime to 1.5 and the bandwidth limit is set to "none." I'm not sure how to select specific ports on my new macbook pro in system preferences, as the setup is different than on my powerbook G4.
I also failed to connect on videochat before I had leopard, when i was trying to use the powerbook with an isight camera.

Ok,
Several things.
On the Leopard end make sure Internet Sharing is Off (in System Preferences > Sharing)
If they have parallels make sure this has it's own Ip.
As it is Comcast try the iChat > Preferences > Video section > Bandwidth Limit at 500 and 200Kbps
System Preferences > Quicktime > Streaming should be at 1.5 Mbps at both ends.
Restart iChat if you have to change.
If you wish to run the Mac Fireall On In System Preferences > Security then do so. The Ports are allowed for the application you add to the list.
