Video converter to IPad 2

I have purchased a video converter (aiseesoft) to be able to view my HD recordings on my IPad. Although i tried every possible format (MPEG4) I can't download the newly converted files to ITunes nor my IPad! Any suggestions?

H.264/MPEG4 with 1800 kbps encoding rate.  256kbps audio rate.  Anything lower decreases quality.   Note: this is only if you own the rights to the video.  Commercial video extraction of this sort is illegal in the United States, and any such discussion is strictly forbidden on this board.

  • Video Converter for Ipad 2

I just got my iPad 2 a week back and since then I have been searching for a suitable video converter.I was hoping that other iPad users can recommend a video converter which can not only convert the video but also change the aspect ratio to 4:3 so I can watch the video in full screen on my device.
(P.S- I know this question has been posted a number of times on this forum, and I have tried many of those software's but I have found none which can give me the desired aspect ratio.)

Since you don't mention what software you've already tried, be prepared to have people recommend the same things that you've already tried.
The most recommended software for video conversion is Handbrake.

  • I recored a video with my ipad, downloaded it to my mac but I cant upload it to Youtube because the format IMG is not a video format. How can I convert it?

How can I convert a video I took with my ipad on the format IMG to a supported format for Youtube?

To upload videos to YouTube we have to make sure videos are in a format that YouTube accepts. Here’s the list of some well-known video formats which YouTube supports:
WebM files (Vp8 video codec and Vorbis Audio codec)
MPEG4, 3GPP and MOV files – (typically supporting h264 and mpeg4 video codecs and AAC audio codec)
AVI (Many cameras output this format – typically the video codec is MJPEG and audio is PCM)
MPEGPS (Typically supporting MPEG2 video codec and MP2 audio)
    WMV)
FLV (Adobe – FLV1 video codec, MP3 audio)
But I think you get the wrong video file. iPad recorded video files are in m4v, mp4, mov, avi format but not the img files. Anyway, if you need a video converter, Format factory or iFunia video converter are good choice.
    Good luck!

  • HT1382 Is there anyway to convert video taken by ipad and burn it to a DVD that can play on DVD player?

Is there anyway to convert video taken by ipad and burn it to a DVD that can play on DVD player?

    Persius,
Nearly every DVD that will play on a set-top player *should* play on a computer, provided two things:
1.) the computer has a DVD player that can handle that flavor of DVD media, DVD RW, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD DL, etc.
2.) the computer has a software player installed. This feature has been removed from some common media players. You may need to locate, download and install a separate software player.
There could be another discussion on interlaced vs progressive scan media, but I'll let you ask that question.

  • How to Rip DVD and Convert Video for Your iPad On ...

Aiseesoft iPad Converter Suite is newly released software for iPad fans. It can rip any DVD files (DVD-Video, DVD folder and DVD IFO file) to iPad, convert all popular videos/audios to iPad formats and transfer files from PC to iPad, from iPad to PC and from iPad to iPad. It works similar to iTunes. So why do you always buy movies and songs from iTunes with extra money? It can help you make use of your resources.
The product is very easy in use. You just need download, install and run the trial version.
The product is multifunctional. It can trim, crop, edit video effect, merge, add text and image watermark, select audio track and subtitle, adjust video settings and snapshot.
If you are Mac user, you can choose Aiseesoft iPad Converter Suite for Mac.

To create an iTunes playlist, at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select New Playlist. Or at the bottom of the iTunes source list is a + button. Selecting the + button will add a new Playlist.
Enter a name for the Playlist.
Select Music under Library in the iTunes source list to view all music available in your iTunes library. Select and drag the music that you want in the Playlist to the Playlist and then release. This does not copy the music. This creates a pointer to the music in your iTunes library only. To delete a song from the Playlist, select the song followed by delete. Deleting a song from a Playlist does not delete the song from your iTunes library. You can have the same song in multiple playlists.
With the iPhone connected to iTunes, under the Music tab for your iPhone sync preferences select Sync Music and below select selected playlists. All iTunes playlists are available in the window below. Select the Playlist or Playlists that you want transferred to your iPhone followed by a sync.
To add additional music to your iPhone, add the music to the Playlist or Playlist in iTunes that you have selected to be transferred to your iPhone followed by a sync. To remove a song from your iPhone, delete the song from the Playlist that you have selected to be transferred to your iPhone followed by a sync.

  • IPad 4 Video Converter?

I got a Blu-ray movie on my computer. I got an iPad 4. I wanna put that movie on my iPad in a 1080p format. Is there a trustable and safe converter out there that I can use? I want it to be able to keep the 1080p format, not convert it to 720p or something lower. Thanks for your help!

Video formats supported by iPad 4:
    - H.264 video up to 1080p, 30 frames per second, High Profile level 4.1 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats;
    - MPEG-4 video up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps per channel, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats;
    - Motion JPEG (M-JPEG) up to 35 Mbps, 1280 by 720 pixels, 30 frames per second, audio in ulaw, PCM stereo audio in .avi file format.
first try converting your video files to Apple format. you can do this with iPad Video Converter(file>export). Then you can move all your files to itunes for new ipad 4 or iphone 5. For iTunes or QT, you should select an iTunes-friendly output format, such as MOV, MP4 or M4V.

  • IPad Video Converter

    Hi
I just bought an IPad 2 yesterday and wanted to upload some videos of my newborn son on them to show family and others. The videos are in .avi and I know those are not compatiable with Apple products including the IPad. I saw that Apple has listed a couple but they are for Macs only and I have a PC. So my first question is do those (EM Total Video Converter or Tanbee) come in a PC version and where can I get that? Question 2 if not what is a good Video converter program and what setting should I use when converting? I dont want to take up all the space on my IPad but I also dont want bad resolution for my Videos.
    Thanks In Advance!

    Handbrake.
It's free, works great, has iPad preset and is universal(divx, xvid,DVD,etc).

  • How can I convert video off my iPad

Hey guys, I got a question. Our school had recently got a program to submit game film, called Huddle. Well it uses a better camera on a iPad Mini. However, I still want a hard copy of the game on the DVD before I submit it into Huddle. What my question is can I take a Lightening Adapter, and then plug a 30 pin adapter to video cords to stream video off the iPad into the DVD burner for basketball games? Or is there a more easier way to do this that I am unaware of...I am just curious since I am pretty tech shabby, and I just wanted to run it by you guys to see if it would work the way I want it to. Thanks!

Buy/Rent your movies from iTune Store and watch them using the Videos app.

Having problems connecting iMac(late 2006) running 10.7.5 to a Samsung Flat Screen TV using separate audio/speaker cable and HDMI standard cable, mini-DVI to HDMI video converter.  TV displays generic Apple galaxy background and "some" windows (e.g. screen resolution choices).   It does not show Mail or Safari menus.  System preferences'  display "gathered" the Samsung and chose its resolution.  I did not find a way to select the Samsung as my display.
In addition to having old hardware, we have Verizon FIOS providing internet and TV access.  Is there any way to make this work for us?  We would like to stream video (Netflix) and view shows from the Web.  Do we need Apple TV to do this?  Or is it not possible with our old iMac?  My husband thinks that our Airport could be a factor.
    Thank you

Lately, I have been seeing a lot of posts with users trying to use their Macs/iMacs to mirror their streaming video from their Macs to an HDTV.
There are, actually, many alternatives to choose from than just from a Mac.
You need to have or invest in a WiFi capable router for all of these examples.
Apple TV only integrates with WiFi and newer Mac hardware. So, if you want to have total integrated experience, if you have a 2011 Mac or newer, you might as well pay the $100 for the AppleTV box.
If you have a older Mac, like I have noticed many users do, then you have other options.
If you want to elimate long cable clutter and having your Mac at the mercy of your TV all of the time,  you can still use the AppleTV box independently or purchase cheaper alternative media streaming boxes from Roku, Sony, Boxee or any number of electronics manufacturers that now have media streaming boxes and media streaming capability built into DVD/Blu-ray players.
These eliminate long cable clutter by being close to the HDTV where shorter, less expensive cables can be used.
Another alternative for iPad users is to use an iPad with the USB/HDMI video adapter and use your iPad as the streaming box. This ties up your iPad in much the same way as it does with your Mac, but again the iPad can be close to the TV and use minimal cables to the TV.
Another alternative to is to use a combination of an iPad and your Mac to stream content that is only available to stream online from a computer. In this case, you can use a desktop remote app on your iPad and Mac. A good and cheap Desktop Remote app is Splashtop Remote. This allows you to completely connect your iPad remotely, over Wifi, to your iMac desktop. The app streams both video and sound to the iPad which is still connected to your HDTV. The resultant stream video picture will be smaller than the size of your HDTV, but it will still be plenty large enough to watch. Again, if you own a iPad and an Intel Mac, this method also allows minimal cabling to the TV.

  • Trying to convert video made in iMovie from Mp4 to M4v so I can burn to DVD downloaded Aimersoft video converter but not having any luck

I have downloaded a wedding video done on my iPad and put it in iMovie on my MAC.  Have spent many hours refining it and now want to burn onto DVDs for other family.
When I did this same thing 4 years ago, I had one-to-one help at apple store and saved the video in M4V format and it was not a problem to share the video.
Now this video is in Mp4 and I need it in M4V - that is what the burning devise tells me.
I downloaded a video converter, but it didn't seem to make the coversion.
    IDEAS?

Have you tried this -> https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/free-mp4-converter/id693443591?mt=12?

  • Video Converter Free

What is the best FREE video converter for iPhone 4 ?

Since you must have iTunes why not use it?
If you have a movie in iTunes goto Movies and select the one you want on your iPhone and click on Advanced and then click on Create iPod or iPhone version (in iTunes).
If you want to convert your movies that are on DVD. Get "Ripit" (http://thelittleappfactory.com/ripit/) and "Handbrake". Convert the DVD using Ripit and then use Handbrake in (universal mode) then you can play it on iPad, iPhone, AppleTV, and iTunes on your computer. Very simple process. Your only limitations are HD space for storage, and processor speed for converting. MAC only......sorry.

  • Video Converter with Alpha Channel support

Looking for a video converter (.mov to .flv) that supports alpha channels

The APNG app is available for free in the app store, you can use it to download a video in APNG format on the iPad. You would need to make the video with an alpha channel on the desktop, but then just type of URL into the URL at the top of the app and it should download and play. There is already support in the app for changing the background color that appears behind the video.
    http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/apng/id447928057
If you are making a custom iOS app, then have a look at the AVAnimator library, it is what the APNG app was made with:

  • Mpg video file to iPad

itunes for some reason wont allow me to add this mpg video file in to library. i even did the copy/paste and drag/drop but nothing happens. updates are already done. im trying to move this video file to my ipad so i can use it on app called minimal folio. im using a 1yr old PC/laptop. please help.

When you try to sync it to your iPad do you get an error message? Have you tried the option in the Advanced tab of iTunes to Convert To iPad and Apple TV Version? What are the attributes of the mpg file? where did you get it from?

  • Sync video clip to iPad

Trying to sync a video clip to iPad 4 using iTunes. All software up to date. Clip originally in .mts form, but I have converted to .mov, .mp4 and .m4v files. None will sync, even though files clearly shown in number count of files included in sync. File is in a folder on desktop with photos, all of which do sync.

If it's one of the supported video formats
    http://www.apple.com/ipad/specs/
    Then
    - drag it into your library on iTunes
    - connect your iPad and select it
    - Click the "Videos" tab
    - Enable "sync Movies" and either automatically include all or select this video.
    - Click "apply"
If it's not a supported format (either it won't drag in at all, or it will fail when you try to sync it),
then you will need to convert it.  I use Handbrake:
    http://handbrake.fr/
Note, under iTunes 11, a lot of videos now show up onder "Home Movies" rather than "Movies".
