VIDEO CUTS WHEN I PUBLISHED ON THE WEB

Hi all,
My name is Dario. I am working in one society for worker's formation.
I often use Captivate CS 6.
I have one problem, when I upload one video (video lesson) in Captivate and export a SCORM document, the video published in the web, cut last second.
I don't understand.
In my project a slide's duration is same at video's duration.
Could somebody help me?

Hello Dario,
When you inserted the video, did you insert the event video or Multi Slide Synchronized Video, or is it a Video recording done in Captivate?
Do you face this issue when you publish your Project and see that locally?
Make sure that there is no effect applied onto that video like Fade out only in the Properties of that Video.
and also check from edit>Preferences> Project> start and end> fade out should not be checked.

using an earlier version (7.x/8.x) works fine.
Does anybody know if there is a solution for this.. This is

Attempting to call the 1-800-833-6687 number fails with:
recording, music, rings as though someone will finally answer, but
gets a few dial tones and connection goes silent..

If all of your credentials are correct, Server Name/IP Address, Username, Password, Root Directory and it's still not connecting, I would try toggling the Passive FTP checkbox.
If you still can't connect in DW, try downloading a third party FTP program like Filezilla (free) and uploading there. If the third party app doesn't work either, there is likely a problem with your credentials and you would need to contact your hosting provider to straighten it out.

When I am surfing the web I have to click on the X to go back several times, then I get a circle and it takes several seconds to go back, Any answers?

When I am surfing the web and wish to go back to the previous site I click on the X. That used to take me back but recently it does not. If I click on it 3, 4 or 5 times the little blue cicle appears from about ten seconds and then it does go back.

Software update will only bring you up to the current level of the system you are using - you are at the maximum for Snow Leopard. To get Lion or higher you will have to go to the Mac App Store in Applications and purchase it there (Yosemite is free). You will need to check that your Mac meets the requirements and you should particularly note that PPC programs such as AppleWorks will not run in Lion or above.
The requirements for Lion are:
Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor
2GB of memory
OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)
7GB of available space
Lion is available in the Online Apple Store ($19.99). Mountain Lion (10.8.x) is also available there at the same price (though it's reported to have been removed from sale in some countries so may well cease to be available generally) but there seems little point as the system requirements are the same for Yosemite (10.10.x) - which is free - unless you need to run specific software which will run on Mountain Lion only.

- Open a tif image, that contains a dpi value (resolution).
- Use the splice tool in PS6.
- Export the slices with "Save for web", as gif-files.
Then the dpi value is removed, the gif files has no dpi value (it's empty).
How can we stop PS6 from removing the dpi value when using "save for web"?

When using the slice tool, how can we save the sliced pieces without PS removing the dpi value?

If you use FTP then ftp is the protocol and 21 is the port.
Your webhoster will tell you what path to use.
You probably can read it in the FAQ/Help/Support pages where you host your website.
All difficult words are explained in manuals, dictionaries or wikis.

Load oracle jdbc driver error when run applet via the web

I have built an applet which connect to database via jdbc thin driver. It works fine when I run it through the applet viewer, but got a problem when run it through the web.
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: oracle/jdbc/driver/OracleDriver
I am using jdev9i 9.0.4 and jdk 1.4.2. The jdbc version is 9.0.1
I have added both the classes12.zip and ojdbc14.zip in the class path and also pack them together with my applet class. Here is the code

Well you haven't "packed" them correctly. Why don't you just add the driver bits to the soucebase tag? or something like that anyway...

Captivate 5.5 project -links are not working when i publish to the IE server

I was wondering if someone had a solution to my Captivate 5.5 project with external links.
Here is my problem:
I have a page that has an external link that opens another window.
For some reason the window will open in preview. However, when I publish to the IE browser it does not work.
Does someone have a solution to this problem? I saw some verbiage that stated adjusting something swf file. I don't quite understand were to change this file. Is it in Captivate?
Any information you have is greatly appreciated.

Not in the Safari browser she can't. That is not supported on the iPad. There are other mobile browsers that do have that functionality - one is iCab Mobile.
