Video drivers for CQ1505LA (windows 7 starter)

Hello,
Can anyone please submit a link to download the video drivers (windows 7) for a CQ1505LA PC. The drivers in the HP website point to an AMD video driver, but this motherboard uses an integrated Intel video graphic chip.

I am keep getting the stop error 0x00000116 failing with a blue screen while im browsing. I have observerd this quite a few times and also I could not find the correct video drivers for my t61 thinkpad in the ibm site. I could see the details as wxp & windows vista but not for win 7. Please find the link below which has all the video drivers fro t61. Please help me find the correct customized video drivers fro my t61 + win 7. Hope you understand my problem.
By the way i just use for home computing and my win 7 is upto date wiht no extra software and games installed. I dont play games at all on my t61.

if u search in the baove link ,you cannot find the video drivers for t61 + win 7. You have it only for xp & vista in this section. Intel X3100 (940GML, 945GM, GL960, GM965). there are no video drivers for win 7 for t61. my video card info is

I triedcomplete win 7 update from windows site and installed all patches and still getting the problem intermitently, but after restart it works fine. No hardware or software changes. Its that I need the correct version of video drivers for win 7. Please inform the lenovo about this and ask them to develop the good video drivers for win 7 + t61 model. Hope you understand my situation.

I have seen your replied many times and wont get paid by Lenovo, you are really crazy for ur stufee .Anyways thanks a lot for the link and the original lenovo staff were notable to provide the link and you could. There's been an update for OSX ML which addresses the issue for installing Windows 8 on bootcamp.
It's NOT recommended that you Upgrade.. However, the way to get the drivers is:
You'll need an external USB drive formatted as FAT for this.
1) In OSX, start the Bootcamp Assistant
2) Press Next
3) UNTICK 'Remove WIndows 7 or Later Version'
4) TICK Download the Latest Windows Support Software from Apple
5) Insert USB drive
6) Press CONTINUE
The drivers should download, and copy a WIndowsSupport folder onto the USB drive.
I did notice that Windows 8 still requires beta drivers for some aspects such as VGA (the Radio HD Card), which you can get on the AMD website.
Futhermore, why are you using Windows 8 "32" bit when you blatently have a powerful 64bit?

Windows 7 video drivers for HDX 9000

I have a HDX 9000T CTO notebook and have noticed that the video drivers in the driver download section have not been updated since January 2008.
Is there going to be an update for windows 7 or do we still use the old version?

check whether youre running the power save mode (or balanced mode) in windows power settings. it is possible that the OS's power saving mode switches your gpu to x1. also check whether you have the latest bios version and check the bios settings.
best would be to run cpu-z (http://www.cpuid.com/download/cpuz/cpuz_152.zip just run the .exe) once while just inside windows and then while inside a game (just alt-tab or alt-escape or press the windows button to get to the desktop). while a game is running it should get up to 16x.

It is an Intel 82852/82855 GM/GME Graphics Controller.
OK... I have a possible driver you can use for that. No guarantee it will work great but it should work...

Download and unzip the file labeled Intel 82865g Driver (Vista - Win7).
You have to use the manual install method like you did with the other 2.

Right now, we are qualifiying drivers for recent notebook models. Shortly after the launch of Windows 8, you'll be able to find drivers for those models as well, on HP.com.

In the meantime, Windows 8 should automatically detect and install an appropriate driver for your Intel video processor. It's hard to say, since I do not know which Intel video processor model you have, or which HP notebook you have. But more often than not, it'll work automatically.

I'm having difficulties finding the drivers for my HP Touchsmart, I have just upgraded to Windows 7 and none of the video drivers will work
I've already tried over 15 drivers, starting with Win 7 32-bit to Win Vista ones...
My operating system is, as specified above, Windows 7 32-bit and my computer is a Touchsmart IQ770.

Worked for me on the 771 unit I was playing with.

The drivers for cards readily available at the time of 8.1 issue will already be in there. It should work in a basic way regardless. Try it and if you have problems, post more specific information.

Catalyst 11.9 Drivers for booted Windows 7

I recently installed Windows & in my 27' 2011 iMac and I have been trying to install the new Catalyst 11.9 drivers for its AMD Radeon HD 6970M. I get to download the files and it seems to be installing them just fine, but when I check the System drivers it still sayst tha I have installed the version 11.1. I would appreciate very much if anyone could give me any suggestion on how to install those drivers properly.

Hi David,
If Windows 8 drivers are released for your notebook, they will be posted here.
HP is not going to support hardware for Windows 8 on any system purchased before Oct 1st 2011. Most Windows 7 drivers will work in Windows 8.
Check out this page to see if your computer has been tested by HP with Windows 8.
You can run the Upgrade assistant software, which will scan your PC and generate a report on what is currently installed on your PC is compatible with Windows 8. This upgrade guide for Windows 8 provides a lot of information that is needed for anyone considering upgrading.

I've been searching for the drivers for over an hour now. I downloaded the official drivers from nvidia.com but it wont install them.

If you're running 10.5.8 then you have the latest drivers for Leopard. Apple provides drivers for the GPU, there are no standalone downloads. If Software Update says you have no updates, you're set.

www.nvidia.com? But bear in mind that these drivers likely aren't tested under Bootcamp, so there is the possibility that you may have issues.
Manually updating device drivers is one of the many things I DON'T miss about Windows and can live without...
