You can capture live video from a web cam. You can send it to another computer and display it in an applet.

Note, though, that this won't change the behavior when replying to a message... in that case, the reply will be sent from the account that received the message, unless you specify differently at that time.

Safari 4.0.3 hangs every time I try to print a web page to a pdf file.

Hi. Just wondering if anyone else has run into this problem and whether or not they have found a fix for it. Every time I try to print a web page to a pdf file from Safari (v4.0.3 running under Snow Leopard 10.6.1), Safari hangs and I have to force quit the program. The pdf is saved successfully, but the browser hangs immediately after the file has been created.
The problem is very consistent - every time I try to print a web page to a pdf file, the browser hangs. Anyone else have the same problem? Thanks.

Try Safari maintenance.
From the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari / Empty Cache. When you are done with that...
from the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari / Reset Safari. Select the top 5 buttons and click Reset.

You may try to use symbols to create an emoticons. For example for 'smiley happy', you can use the symbols colon ( : ), dash or hypen ( - ) and close parenthesis ( ) ). So, it can look like this :-).

just yesterday i started getting a malware detection pop up every time i go to a new web page. every site i go to this thing will pop up saying that website contains content from oibruvv.com... I have to click the proceed anyways button every time. please help!

How do I stop Firefox from creating untitled web pages when I try to send email from a web page. The only way I have found is to turn the computor off and then reboot. I don't have this problem when using Internet Explorer

Every time I click on a web site that has an email option the browser starts making untitled web pages and never stops unless I turn the computer off. It is very frustrating to not be able to use an email option when offered by a web site. The only way I can send email messages on the Firefox browser is to go into my hotmail acct. and copy and paste the addresses. I don't have this problem when I use the Internet Explorer browser.

How do I Keep the "zoom" size setting the same each time I open Safari and from web page to web page?

I have a 27" iMac when I open Safari the web page is only 1/3 the size of the full screen Safari window. I know how to ZOOM in on the web page! My question is, How do I keep this ZOOM setting for all web pages and each time I open Safari up?

Sorry, but that's not possible.
An alternative might be to use Zoom in System Preferences > Accessibility
Or try a different screen resolutioin in System Preferences > Displays > Scaled

I think the swipe left and swip right ability interferes with the formatting of web page content to fit the screen - can this be fixed?

I have an android HTC EVO (Sprint) w/ firmware version 2.2.
Using the original Google browser I can expand web pages (such as forums) not optimized for mobiles and it re-formats to fit within the right/left screen size no matter the orientation of the device. I can read comfortably left to right and only need to scroll up/down.
Using Firefox 4 Mobile on the same web pages, when expanding the type does get bigger but they do not reformat left/right - they run off the screen, no matter the device orientation. Reading becomes tedious because I have to scroll right/left as well as up/down.
I believe this is related to the swipe left/swipe right design of FFox 4 Mobile.
Is there a fix for this?
If not, I'll have to go back to the original Google browser.

This feature is still experimental, and we plan to improve it in future versions.

Am using Windows XP professional with FFox 4 beta. Every time I try to print a web page as a pdf I get random letters & digits displayed, is anyone else having this problem, is there a solution to rectify this problem?

This problem only occurred with Ffox 4 beta printing web pages as PDF files on previous versions of Ffox has never been a problem...
The web pages appear to lose formatting when displayed or "printed" as a PDF file, randomly placed letters and digits appear all over the page.

Is it possible to have a Flash video activate content outside of the video at predetermined times along the video timeline?

I am creating educational videos and would like to set points within a video that will make things happen on the website, either a different window or the same window as the video. Is this possible? I'm not a web developer so posting how to do it won't do me much good. Time Capsule timeouts when accessing secure web pages, downloading apps, backing up to iCloud, etc.

Last week I upgraded my broadband connection to fibre, requiring me to install a different router because the Draytek one I had in place was not suitable, so I went for a Time Capsule. My other devices are a 13” MacBook Air, an iPad 2 and an iPhone 4.
Web browsing performance was immediately fantastic, with consistent readings on the Mac of 12ms ping, 35Mbps+ download speed and 1.5Mbps+ upload speed. One oddity I did notice when running a speed test (using speedtest.net), but which I didn’t think about much at the time, is the time taken between finishing the download test and starting the upload test. In my previous experience there would be only a few seconds between them, but on my new fibre connection through Time Capsule it takes anything from 30 seconds to a minute for the upload test to begin.
However, a few days ago I tried to download some app updates in iTunes to the Mac, but after a wait I received a message that the network connection had timed out. I tried again multiple times and each time the result was the same.
I then Googled the problem to see what might be causing it, but I found I was not able to access any results from the Apple Support Communities pages because the browser would time out with a network connection error, or they would take an absolute age to load. Subsequently, I have also discovered that I cannot backup my iOS devices to iCloud (it tries for ages and then says there was an error), I cannot log in to any online accounts (the browser eventually times out with a network connection error) and I cannot send email from the mailbox that syncs with my work Exchange account. I have also realised that the Apple Support Communities pages are secure, so the common theme seems to be there is a problem accessing anything that requires security/authentication/encryption.
This is not a Wi-Fi issue as it is the same when I switch off Wi-Fi on the MBA and attach it to the router via an Ethernet cable.
It is also not a Mac/iPad issue, as both function normally on my work Wi-Fi network.
I have reached the end of my limited technical tether, so does anybody have any suggestions please?

Bizarrely, after more than a week of problems and time wasted in trying to resolve them, I arrived home from work today to find that everything is working perfectly. The network is exactly as it has been all week and when I called my ISP they said they had changed nothing on the line, so it's a complete mystery.
I'm happy it's working, but it would have been nice to understand what caused the problem, just in case it happens again.
Anyway, thanks again and sorry for wasting your time.

I know the code for the jms-sending is OK (I've
tested in another application, copy of code), but i
dont know why it isn't working in this particual

isn't taking place here; and i have no clue to
why.....where does your web.xml schema location points to ?
Injection works only with JEE 5, which means that you have to point to the right version of the servlet spec, i.e version="2.5" and web-app_2_5.xsd.
