Video error when exporting from slideshow - any fixes?

When I try to export video from the LR Slideshow module I always get the same error msg:
- Cannot create encoder instance, h264OutVideoNew failed
- error: h264OutVideoChkSettings - no library function available
- error: No encoder library could be found!
Can anyone help me remedy this?
Thanks,
Dennis

  • Error when exporting from Quicktime Pro

I don't really like how any of the Adobe products export H.264 .mov files so my normal workflow that I've been doing for years is to export as a high quality MPEG4 and then open it in Quicktime and export as H.264 from there. I went to do this today and it gave me this error message "Export Controller has stopped working". When I click OK on that it gives me this error in the progress window:
    http://screencast.com/t/N2ZjNjcz
I've tried this with multiple videos and got the same thing, as a test I tried exporting as MPEG4 and I got a similar error (different code). As I was typing this I tried Export For Web and got the same error. Any idea how to fix this?

  • Why is my video pixelated when exporting from Premiere Pro?

    Hi,
I'm a musician wanting to make some basic videos for YouTube. The videos will consist of an intro (logo, title etc) and audio playing over a still image which will last the duration of the song. I've edited the still image for the video within Photoshop (CS5.1). The image is of a woman screaming and is intentionally very dark. When I export this image from Photoshop, the quality is excellent. When I then import this image into Premiere Pro (CS5.5) and export as the finished video, the quality of the image is significantly reduced and is rather pixelated. After spending hours searching online and trying different settings to achieve the result I want, I've had no luck, and I'm now in desperate need of a professional opinion. Is it possible to get the same quality image within the exported video as I get from an exported Photoshop file?
    Things I've tried:http://www.ashmathos.com/Musici
Photoshop - Exporting image using different file types - .tif , .PNG , .PSD  etc
Premiere Pro - Exporting video using different formats - .FLV , Quicktime and MPEG4
                        - Changing the Capture format between DV and HDV
                        - Different presets - AVCHD, HDV, DV - PAL/NTSC etc
Both the image exported from Photoshop and the video are 1080p (square pixels)
An example of what I've explained can be found here:
    http://www.ashmathos.com/Musician/Test
(The video can be found below the image)
    To any responders,
    Thank you!

Can't you see how the video is pixelated? Mainly around the nose and forehead?
Nope.  Looks fine when I watch it.

  • XL-H1 aspect ratio error when exporting from FCP 1080p24 to compressor

    PLEASE HELP
I have a finished project in fcp in a 1080p24 project.
    My source footage is 1440 x 1080i 24f from an xl-h1.
When i export from final cut pro to compressor, compressor squeezes my footage into a square.
if i export to dvd from compressor the ratio is fine.
when i export in quicktime thats where the skewed image happens.
    Please help
    thanks

    Hi StingoArmy,
There is an easy fix for this. Once you export your file to Compressor, you can apply an export option, let's say we're going to export a LAN Streaming Quicktime movie for Internet. Now click on the new bar that's been placed inside your media tab. The settings for this export item appear below in the Inspector. Just below the DESCRIPTION line are a series of options buttons. Clicking the option 2nd from the right (Geometry) opens up a new tab where you can change the dimensions. There are several ways to go about exporting to 16:9, the one I use is to change the Frame Size to "Custom (16:9)", however, you can also do the same thing by changing the Pixel Aspect to "HDV 1080i (16:9)" You should test results for both and see which is the preferred method for your final output, depending on what type of Quicktime movie you are creating.

  • How do I fix poor video quality when exporting from Keynote to iMovie

I went through Keynote to create a movie from a PowerPoint (including a soundtrack) but the video quality is very poor in the final product.  Is there a way to fix this?

file > export > Quicktime > custom > then select one of the codecs: MPEG-4,  standard DV,  HDV,  AVCHD,  Apple Intermediate Codec and use full size in the options.

  • Error when exporting from FCP

When I try and export to Compressor(1.2.1) from FCP HD 4.5 i get an error saying that a file of this name already exists (obviously not the case). The Batch then fails within 5 secs or so. Could this be a restriction on the academic version of fcp or something - ie one can only export a project x many times or something? i've seen the related string but turning off anti-virus software doesn't seem to help me at all. any ideas?
also - I can export as a self containded qt file but even if I do it at the highest settings the finished dvd (made using dvd studio4) doesn't look as good as an old dvd i have that was encoded by exporting to comp. from fcp. is it just my eyes having seen the video so many times that i am seeing things or has anyone else noticed this?

  • QuickTime error when exporting from FCP 4.5 - Compressor

I'm still on Final Cut Pro 4.5, waiting to get money for a hardware upgrade before I can move to FCP 6, etc.
I have upgraded to QuickTime Pro 7.2.
This setup worked fine until today.
I selected a sequence in FCP and tried to Export to Compressor (the source material was NTSC MiniDV video footage in FCP) using an MPEG-4 Fast Cable Streaming 320x240 export setting. I used this setting successfully to export a very similar project only last week. This evening when I tried exporting via Compressor the attempt failed, and Batch Monitor's log noted a "QuickTime Error -50". I tried this repeatedly this evening, and it produced the same results even after restarting the machine.
I'm baffled by this. I had no such problem last week.
    Any clues?

  • Poor video quality when exporting from Adobe Premiere

Hey, I was just wondering if there was anyone here that could help me  with this problem I am having with Adobe Premiere Pro.
I have used it to edit a movie together with MOV video files from my  iPhone 3GS which are of decent quality but everytime I try to export it,  the video quality is degraded significantly from the original. I have  tried several different export options but none seem to do the trick.
Also, exporting with DivX just gives me an audio file with no video so I  have been unable to try that.
    Anyone have any ideas?
    Thanks.

  • CODEC Error when exporting from Timeline solution

This is a stupid mistake, but when I was just in Final Cut Pro 7 trying to "Export Using Quicktime Conversion" I got a "CODEC Error" message and couldn't export. I tried changing the CODEC in my Sequence Settings, still got the error, I started freaking out thinking I had to delete the preference files; but I suddenly realized I had the "In" marker at the end of the video on the Timeline.
Solution: "Clear IN and OUT" markers on the Timeline (right-click on Timeline, Clear In and Out).
Check the simple things first! lol

Or...don't choose QUICKTIME CONVERSION, as that will recompress your sequence and footage...even if you choose the same codec. Try Quicktime Movie, self contain as an option.

  • -34 error when exporting from iMovie to QuickTime

When attempting to export an edited movie using the iMovie app on my MacBook Pro into QuickTime, I receive the message "quick time export error -34"
Can anyone tell me what to do?  THANK YOU!

I tried that and it makes a file without
    video...sound only.
Itsounds like you didn't have the Sound box checked.

  • Scaling Error when exporting from Illustrator CS to AutoCad 2002

When I export an Illustrator CS file to AutoCad 2002, I end up with a part that need to be scaled down by .03937 to be 1:1 in AutoCad. I changed my preferences to inches on all units and still have this problem. What setting do I need to change to have this convert straight to AutoCad without secondary operations.

    Hey, guys,
Thanks so much for the responses. I discovered that one of the issues was that my browser window was set to 125%, causing things to appear a bit blurry. However, I'm still having issues with the "save for web" window. It seems like the left side (the original) should look exactly like what's on my artboard, but as you can see from this screenshot, it's blurry when I zoom up (Both the artboard and save for web window are at 300%). I have the text on the right set to gif, but it still looks the same as the "original" on the left. Shouldn't my orignal in the save for web window look exactly like the text on the artboard? Would this be affecting the files I'm exporting? Thanks so much for the help!

  • Error when exporting from premiere pro CS6

I have been using PP CS6 since launch date- and have had none stop problems with exporting, I cant dynamic link, add to render ques or simply export straight from PP!
When i Que my project it will export up until half way and then freeze, i've tried changing the clip, removing effects, everything!
has anyone encounted this problem before?
This is happening with more then just this one project aswell.
These are old projects that were originally created in CS5, could that be causing it?

    Thats what i thought!
All earlier projects open, i can edit, manipulate it! do the works! However when it comes to export time! i can't export it to anything! whats the point?!?!
Im really angry, when you pay for something you expect it to do what it was designed to do! and the fact i can't export at all is really really frustrating!

  • Error when exporting from After Effects into Media Encoder

Hi there. I am using After Effects CC and am trying to export>add to Adobe Media Encoder CC. Upon doing so, instead of the file being placed into Media Encoder CC, I get an error message
I just updated to most recent update of After Effects via the Cloud today but no difference. Instead, After Effects just creates a folder on my system to house a duplicate composition file with "tmpAEtoAMEProject" at the beginning of file name. I can use the render queue out of After Effects just fine.
Can someone give me a solution to how I can export out to Media Encoder CC? Probably something simple I am just missing. I don't know much/can't find much about how to know if Adobe Dynamic Link components are installed. Oh, and I have also tried to just drag the files into Adobe Media Encoder too but I still get this warning. If it helps, I am on an imac OSX 10.8.5. Thanks!

Hey there. Yes, I have uninstalled AE, restarted, and reinstalled. Still get the same error shown in screenshot in my original question posted.
