Video Filter missing:  PR.ADBE Camera View

Hi, I get the following message when I load my premiere project:
Video Filter missing:  PR.ADBE Camera View
I know its a filter on windows what is not on a mac because I transferd some files to my mac. I only want to know how do I get rid of this message.
Thanks

Yes, but it will be manual labour. Just go through all your clips and remove each instance where you have used it. Maybe it is shown in the timeline in a different color or with diagonal stripes through it, I don't know.

    Video Filter missing:  AE.ADBE Numbers2
I Get this when i open a prodject that was exported from after effects

    Hi drumboy12,
    Welcome to the Forums.
It seems that you have applied any effects and filter on a Video or a File in the After Effects composition and then you Exported it as a Premiere Pro Project and those filters or effects are not present in Premiere Pro. Please use Dynamic link to send your project to Premiere Pro if you wish to use Premiere Pro with After effects.

  • Video Filter missing:  AE.ADBE Fast Blur - Premiere Pro CS4 mac

Hi, I own the master collection package of the cs4 products for Mac, and I'm having this problem when trying to open a project made on premiere pro 1,5 (win). All files, effects and tittles where imported perfectly on my Mac after opening and saving the project on win premiere cs3. The only problem is the fast blur plugin. I get this error when opening the project on premiere cs4. I need to have the fast blur plugin working because I don't want to re-create the whole transitions of this 1 hr length project.
I tried copying the Fast_Blur.plugin from after effects and pasting it on my premiere pro plug-ins folder (/Applications/Adobe Premiere Pro CS4/Plug-ins) but with no luck, apparently premiere ignores it. Also tried to copy it to /Applications/Adobe Premiere Pro CS4/Adobe Premiere Pro CS4.app/Contents/Plug-ins/Common but this gave me several errors and the application not launching.
What can I do to use this plugin in premiere cs4 Mac?
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Placed the afx cs4 Fast_Blur.plugin on /Applications/Adobe Premiere Pro CS4/Adobe Premiere Pro CS4.app/Contents/Frameworks/MediaCoreUI.framework/Fast_Blur.pluginand nothing... ignored as when placing it on Plug-Ins folder...
Where is this mediacore folder on win?
Thanks for the suggestion, but I think that the Mac CS4 afx "Fast_Blur.plugin" isn't comptible with the Mac CS4 Premiere.
I don't own a CS3 mac version... does anyone knows if it has the fast blur? I could try to use that file...

  • Video Filter Missing: AE

I keep getting a series of messages saying Video Filter Missing: AE.ADBE MagicBulletMojo as well as a string of various messages after "Video Filter Missing: AE...." I was wondering if the "AE" in that message meant that it was coming directly from a plugin within After Effects. I am trying to track down exactly why this is happening in my particular project if it was from something within After Effects or from Premiere.
I know that I have seen similar error messages with "Video Filter Missing: PR...." in other forums. So my biggest question is:
Does the AE or PR in the middle of the error correspond with the application that I was using the video filter in that is now missing?
    Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion, but I think that the Mac CS4 afx "Fast_Blur.plugin" isn't comptible with the Mac CS4 Premiere.

  • 'Video Filter Missing' Exporting AE CS4 project into Premiere Pro CS4 project

    Hey guys,
I am new to Premiere and AE, and I just made a short little intro for my current project in After Effects using a couple different effects and such. When I go to export my AE project and make it into a Premiere Project file it will not let me open the project properly, it says:
    D:\Premiere Projects\AFC Title2.prproj
    Video Filter missing:  AE.ADBE Exposure2
    Video Filter missing:  AE.ADBE Glo2
Video Filter missing:  AE.CC Particle World
How do I fix this? Can I get the video filters for Premiere so that it recognizes them?
    Thanks,
    Andrew

Are you planning on editing the material you're moving from AE to PPro? Not that you can't, but that's sort of a backwards workflow (ie. usually you edit in PPro, and then move the sequence to AE for effects, etc.). Or are you just trying to export from PPro?
Do you have the Production Premium bundle? If so, you could use Dynamic Link to put your AE comp into a PPro timeline, without having to worry about missing filters. You could also render from AE, and then import the rendered movie into PPro.
Finally, you can make (most of) the Cycore effects work in Premiere; this includes Particle World. Simply copy the AEX plugins from the After Effects program folder, into the Premiere Pro program folder (you'll have to dig into a couple of subfolders to find the effects). You'll then have access to most of them in Premiere Pro, though they don't all work the same in the PPro interface. The other two are, I believe, AE-only plugins, and are locked to that program--they won't work in PPro, no matter what.

  • Error: "Video Filter Missing"

New Production Pro 5.5 upgrade user.  When attempting to import a simple project exported by AE, Premiere Pro says "Video Filter Missing: AE.ADBE.SubspaceStabilizer."    I was just trying Warp Stabilizer for familiarization.  Maybe I missed a step?

Warp Stabilizer is not available directly in Premiere Pro. You could render out your stabilized movie from AE and import into PPro, or you could (if you have Production Premium or Master Collection) take your comp into Premiere Pro with Dynamic Link. The easiest way to Dynamic Link is just to drag your comp from the AE Project Panel, Alt+Tab to PPro, and drop into the Project Panel there.

  • Video Filter missing: AE.keylight 906?

    Hi,
I am a complete noob when it comes to editing video in Adobe. I've been looking for a solution to my problem in other places, but my attempts were futile.
    Here's what I did:
I edited a video clip in Adobe After Effects, dealt with the green screen using Keylight, then exported my work as an Adobe Premiere Pro Project. Once that was done, I tried opening the project in Premiere and a window popped up saying "Video Filter missing: AE.keylight 906." I clicked OK and found that Premiere does not show my edited green screen. It merely shows the original - I think I'm right in saying that is because the video filter is missing, as the message stated. How do I fix this? Help please!
    Thank you for your time.

My guess for the choppiness would be that you used the default uncompressed render settings from After Effects; this likely made a very large file that, unless you have a really stout and fast hard drive setup (e.g. RAID), you will not get real time playback. Uncompressed is good in that, well, it's uncompressed and therefore doesn't add any further image degradation, but it can make for a lousy editing experience, as you've found.
Depending on what your source footage is (you didn't mention this originally), and what your intended destination/delivery format is, you might be able to use different render/export settings from After Effects for a more playable file in Premiere. Later, you could rerender the composition to the uncompressed version and replace the original; this will give you better performance for further editing in Premiere, and then later will give you higher quality output. This is often referred to as proxy editing, and there are a couple of ways you can go about this, if it's something you want to attempt.
Regarding the loss of edits when moving from Premiere: there shouldn't be any loss of edit points, necessarily, but what you might be thinking of is the loss of transitions. Since Premiere Pro works with tracks and After Effects works with layers, the two programs have different methods of representing and creating transitions (e.g. dissolves). In Premiere, you can put two clips next to each other in the sequence on a single track, and add a dissolve between them; however, in After Effects, a layer can only contain one footage item, so to create a transition between two layers, they must overlap. There are analogs for certain transitions--a dissolve, for example, is just a change in opacity of one layer that is over another--but other more "fancy" transitions must be recreated more manually. In short, you shouldn't have to worry about the timing of your edit in Premiere changing when moving to After Effects, whether you use Dynamic Link or whether you simply copy and paste from Premiere into AE.
Hope that helps a bit more. And Mr. Brougham is my dad's name

  • Video Filter Missing.

When I attempt to import files from AE to Premier Pro CS5.5 error message appear saying Video Filter Missing.  I reinstalled both AE and Premier Pro, but that did not fix the problem.  Anyone know what is causing this and how I can fix it?

Actually I am importing compositions via dynamic link.  Everything worked fine yesterday, but for some reason today I am getting a box filled without about 7 messages relating to missing video filters.  When this happens Premier freezes up and I have to go to the task manager to stop and the restart Premier.  I have a screen print of the errors that come up if that helps.

    Video Filter missing: AE.ADBE ShadowHighlight
What can I do to fix it? I´ve already try reinstall the soft, but it happens again.

  • Camera wireframe icon missing in 3d  perspective view!!!

    Dear Motion masters,
I cant solve this problem and find it very tricky:
I wanted to do some nice camera animation in 3d view, but after looking some tutorials I realized that my camera icon is missing which is really annoying as it gives real feel of how to frame the shot and move the camera... so after reading some of the forums I trashed the properties and I got it back in the new project, however when I open old project it disappears and even after saving the new project and restarting the motion it disappears... so I really don't know how to get it back.... the only time i can see it is after trashing the properties and starting motion for the first time... please help as I really need to finish one project and would like to use some 3d camera effects in it... thanx
p.s. yes I have all the 3d views ticked and am looking at it in perspective, also tried zooming out a lot... almost till the moon
    thanx

    Welcome to the discussions.
I would try opening the suspect project, creating a new project, then dragging all the groups from the "bad" project into the new one. Save the new project, quit Motion, trash your preferences, then open the new project and see if you maintain your camera view...

  • Video filter viewing

How can I view video filter changes? F'rinstance if I want to use a cylinder distortion, if I apply the filter, the preview is covered by the filter slider dialog. I want to see the changes to the image as I make them.
    Thanks from SF

Put the clip on the Timeline. Double click it to bring it into the Viewer. Apply the filter there. You should be able to see teh clip in the Canvas. Also, in the Viewer, you can switch between Filter and View settings by clicking the tabs

  • Help Improve Premiere! FR: Separate, maximizable Multi-camera view

Do you ever use Premiere CC's Multi-Camera tools?  Then this FR is for you!
Please copy/paste as your own and send to https://www.adobe.com/go/wish/.  Every voice counts!
    *******Enhancement / FMR*********
Brief title for your desired feature: Separate windows for Multi-camera view and Program Monitor, with ability to tilde toggle to full screen either or both.
How would you like the feature to work?
The Multi-camera view and the Program Monitor should occupy separate, individually resizable and maximizable windows.
Why is this feature important to you?
The way these interface elements are currently squeezed into the same window is extremely limiting as far a viewing options.  When the Multi-camera view is displayed, users can no longer do a full-screen preview of their edit, nor can they do a full screen preview of their multi-camera angles.  This is unnecessarily restrictive.  By putting the Multi-camera view in it's own window, and allowing it to be tilde maximized to full screen, users would have so much more flexibility for viewing their camera angles and their final edit while editing multi-camera sequences.

    Hi Kevin,
I'm not sure how sticking the Multi-Camera View together with the Program Monitor does anything to clean up the interface.  But supposing it does somehow, how can the person responsible for this change justify 'cleaning' the interface at the tremendous expense of functionally?
The current design simply isn't functional as already stated:
Full screen preview can't be used for the Program Monitor and/or the Camera Angles.
The Camera Angles can't be positioned and resized independently on their own monitor.  Ditto for the Program Monitor.
How could the PP team miss this?  Sorry to be brash, but it just baffles me how an entire team of  adults can commit such an obvious gaffe.    Perhaps they need to screen their ideas past real users, users like me that think outside the box and speak up when things don't work.  For sure Adobe already does this, but it clearly isn't working, either because they're consulting the wrong people and/or they're getting the right feedback but aren't listening to it.
When I have to multicam edit on my laptop, I would LOVE to be able to display ONLY my camera angles in Full Screen.  This would make each camera angle a usable size on a 17" laptop, and leave out any and all distracting interface elements (something helpful on any size monitor).   After my initial edit is finished, I could then scale down my Multi-camera View and place it next to my Program Monitor above my Timeline to refine the edit.  The current design makes this logical approach impossible.
I was REALLY hoping to see this fixed in 7.2.  The problems with the current design are so painfully obvious to me, every single time I do multicamera editing.  IMHO, it should also be obvious to anyone that trully understand video editing.
You wrote "this appeals to some and not to others.", but for the life of me, I can't see how this change could possible appeal to anyone (other than a sadist that gets pleasure out of seeing an editor's workflow getting screwed).

  • Why is the Video Filter "Shift Fields" Automatically being added to my clips?

In the timeline, I've been noticing that FCP is randomly adding the "Shift Field" video filter to about 75% of all my clips in the timeline.
    Is this common?

I noticed that this Shift Field filter is going crazy if you copy footage from a sequence to another with different Field orders.
I don't think in my case FCP has ever wrongly applied the filter when I just was editing from the Viewer to the Canvas. Only when copying footage from sequence to sequence, I discoverd problems.
By the way. You can select all the 'faulty' clips and choose Conform to Sequence from the menu, and al should be right...

Good points, all. Thanks for your contribution, Rienk.
"Conform to Sequence" is a function I have never used, did not know it even existed, thanks for that, too.
