Video/FlashCard/Vista/Gotomeeting Issue (laptop model A215-S5822)

Hi everybody,
I'm not sure yet if this is a Video, Flashcard, Vista, or Gotomeeting issue.
Suddenly whenever I run Gotomeeting now, it won't share my screen and then it eventually gives me a message saying "Toshiba Flashcards has stopped working"...
I know that whenever I start GotoMeeting, the laptop switches to "Windows Basic" display settings. It's always done that, but for some reason I can now no longer share my desktop screen with other gotomeeting users.
Does this sound like a purely Gotomeeting issue?

Have a customer who advises as per the discussion title :-
When trying to project video from their Win 7 laptop, the CTS1300 TP unit states that the resolution is too high
It has worked fine up until the upgrade to Windows 7
Customer advises colleagues can connect and project OK at another site, using Win7 laptop, however that site uses CTS3010 and CTS1000 and, as yet, it is unconfirmed which they used to test on
I could raise a case with TAC but wondered if anyone knows of any issue with Windows 7 and the CTS1300

I've had issues with Win7 laptops before, but it all depends on the model of the laptop, and what it's display is capable of, and whether the end user is using it in desktop extension / duplication / remote only mode, etc.
In most cases, switching it to the 2nd screen only mode fixes the issue, and worst case, rebooting it while it's set this way, and it's connected, fixes the problem.
So, from my expereince, it's pretty well always a problem wtth the laptop/user, and very rarely (if ever) a problem with the TelePresence device.

I am so sorry to hear that your HP ENVY 15-3033cl Notebook PC will not boot up. I will try my best to help you resolve this problem.
In this document for Computer Does not Start (Windows 7, Vista, XP) are the steps to resolve this issue.
I am also including this document for Notebook Keyboard Troubleshooting (Windows 7) to troubleshoot the Beats Audio button. If you are not running Windows 7, please let me know what system is running.

Videos Crashing Vista !!!HELP!!!

i have window vista on my laptop
when ever i try to download a video from itunes
my computer will crash just as it finishes the download
my computer will also crash when i put any sort of mpg4 video
into itunes

If you have a USB flash drive in your computer as a ReadyBoost drive, try taking that out, reboot and try viewing it without the ReadyBoot drive in again.
Also in Control Panel, Quicktime, Advanced, try unchecking "Enable Direct 3D video acceleration" or selecting Safe Mode (GDI only), selecting OK, and reboot and try again.
This is a known problem with iTunes (I finally found out) but I can't come across the Apple KB ID at the moment.

I need input on laptop model or chipset to support CS5.5 or CS6. I plan to add an external HD for data. I am currently runnig CS3 on desktop IBM Xeon 3.2ghz with XP Pro+ SP3 and 2 HD (one ops and one data). Who evaluates machines on CS5.5 ro CS6? Does anyone have a sucess story on some laptop configuration?

Install recovery that is not available in Egypt to laptop model bought from USA

My sister bought to me laptop from USA as she live there. She bought model no:

In the beginning, I seek help from computer technician to create partitions for windows 7 so he formats the hard drive. This is the beginning of the problem. After several months the windows 7 became unresponsive and very slow, so I seek help from the same person. He removed the windows 7 and tried to install another one but all his attempts failed. Since that time my laptop didn't work.
I used HP website to know the cause of this problem. I knew that there is recovery manager and I should have to make refresh or reinstall this recovery but I do not know that before. I hardly reached to HP technical support in Middle East. They guide me to HP service centers in Egypt but all these centers very stupid and helpful because they said that the recovery of this model unavailable with them because my laptop model not available in Middle East. When I come back to HP technical support in Middle East, they said to me to come back to service centers again as they can make contacts with HP technical support in USA and get the recovery of this model but they refused. Accordingly HP technical support in Middle East solve this problem by advice me to return my laptop to USA.
My laptop did not work for 4 months because of mainly my mistake and stupidity and lack of cooperation of HP technical support in Middle East and HP service centers in Egypt.
Please help me as soon as possible.

1- I try to make this order but it is not appear that it is order for recovery media but the title of the order is "order software and driver media" Is that right? YES, that is correct... "Order software and driver media" is the HP Recovery Media.
2- when my sister send the recovery media for me is it easy to install it? YES, it is easy to install... Please see HP PCs - Performing an HP System Recovery (Windows 7) for instructions on using the media.

Toshiba Laptop Model Number X205-SLi3

I have purchase a Toshiba Laptop Model Number X205-SLi3 back on late 2007 by on 03/12 , 06/20, 11/25/08 and on 4/20/09 this laptop has being at the repair shop, has any one else having trouble this king of problem. I was told I may receive the laptop back some time after may 24, 2009 if they get the parts in. what can I do with this problem, Florida law has the lemon law and this loptop falls in this category. My last toshiba laptop lasted 5 years before it die. I do like toshiba over all, but this one has be thinking in what to do. Need help in what to do!!!

The first time it wend down it wouldn't boot up, and both video card replace. the second time was it was the both video cards, mother board and the screen, The third time they replace the mother board and both video cards. and now it looks like is both video card. one USB port quit working. and the computer wont boot-up and give you the three bips of death. They toll me I may get that maybe by May 24th they will get the video card, The only thing I want from toshiba is to give me back the days that the laptop stay their waiting for repair, on my waranty. Or replace the bloody thing. They told me they can't do anything becouse I send it to a authorice repair depot and not to their repair depot. They know that the laptop has gone to a representative repair depot, since the gave auto repair number.

No Hardware Vendor or SAP support can justify this is best notebook or Desktop or Server for installation of SAP
service.sap.com/instguides will give minimum hardware recommendations for the selected component.
After installation of ECC6.0 u need add-on BI content for Bi functionality.
Pls find some one who is in industry for you installation Hope they can help you.
If i require some thing like you,i would go for 3 to 4 Gb memory(ram) & Core 2 duo processor & not less than 300 GB storage(HDD)
Request quotation from hardware vendors with configs & also support must be good any where we use notebook.

No connectivity in wifi in Lenovo laptop model 2409

I can't connect my Lenovo laptop model 2409 in the wifi network in a campus. Previously it has never been in a wifi atmosphere but worked normally thru service provider data card/dongle. I successfully downloaded and installed the windows XP wifi driver. As I now try to connect it, the wifi logo comed and subsequently vanishes without getting connected. Can anyone please guide me in this regard as I'm still a novice in this area.....B.N.Bhattacharya

Help with choosing the right lenovo laptop model

Hello All,
I am in the process of replacing my old Lenovo w520 with one of these laptop models :-
i) Lenovo T440
ii) Lenovo X1 Carbon
iii) Lenovo W540
Which one of the above 3 models is the best ? What are the known problems with any of these models?
My primary requirement is to have higher data storage capacity , Good processing power and a good sound card.

How to determine full laptop model when label is gone?

The label with the laptop model is gone and I don't know the full model name, so I cannot find the drivers I need. I tried using the Service Station application but it only displays the left part of the model name. Is there an application that can pull the full model name from the laptop?

deleted everything under HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\Root\SYSTEM (folders 0000 to 0004)
