Video getting 'stretched' after export.... help?

hi guys...
ok, i have a movie i did in FCE, its just an audio file with keynote slides that are synched to it.
The slides are jpgs, and are 1024x768 in size.
I made a movie, it looked great.... went back to FCE to make some edits, then re-exported it... problem is now the new movie looks a bit STRETCHED....
thats like the only way i can describe it.
everytime i save etc it takes forever so i'd like to get this fixed... lol
I just need the thing to look normal like it did before.... i'm really new with FCE, self taught (and thanks to the help of many of you guys
I think it has something to do with the export.... i selected 640x480 to export it at, i thought thats what i did before.... and thats the size i need the movie in.
seems like its getting stretched somehow

I think you might be encountering a pixel aspect ratio (PAR) issue.
Standard definition video, the type used on DVDs, uses 640x480 pixels,
but the pixels are not square. They are stretched to make the end result
720x480. Normally this all happens automatically, which is why many
people don't even realize it's happening.
My suggestion: Set your FCE sequence to be the exact size and format you
want. When you export, don't use Quicktime conversion to adjust the size.
Deal with all the issues in FCE before the export.
Assuming you are working with standard def video, choose a preset
like DV-NTSC 48kHz. When you bring your jpg files into that, you may
have to adjust them in the Motion tab.
Of course, if you really want 640x480, then you can modify the
sequence preset (Sequence Menu > Settings) to set the PAR to square.
Then your 1027x768 images should fit the frame exactly.

Music and videos gets corrupted after syncing

I have been having this issue for quite sometime now. It first started when I was using an old laptop to sync my iPod touch 4th gen. Not just syncing, just transferring music and videos. But the videos get corrupted after transferring the file from the laptop to ipod. I thought it was the cable but as soon as used a faster laptop, the videos were transferred without any corruption issues. I reformattd the laptop as it might have some malware or other softwares interrupting the usb transfer but it still gets corrupted. So I thought, the communication between pc and the new ipod system might be too much for an old intel core duo @ 1.6ghz to handle.
Now, I am using a laptop with intel core 2 duo @ 2.0ghz. The corruption issue is now returning. The music can be played but when playing, it seems like it's jumping, stuttering or something. Please note that it can be played but it sounded like a bad interrupted download.
For the old laptop, the videos are usually the ones the gets corrupted. For the new laptop, it happened recently during a massive sync I performed. I wonder if there's a usb buffer thing that gets full.
Anyway, is there a way to prevent this or check which mp3s are corrupted? I have plan to copy all the mp3s using TouchCopy, then compare the mp3s to my source mp3 using BeyondCompare.

You can't copy music from a i device to a Mac computer. Only from a Mac computer to a i device. So you will have to copy over your iTunes library from your old computer to your new Mac.

Help with exporting. Video looks horrible after export, but great when in premiere pro

Hey guys, looking for some advice on exporting.
When I finish a video, the color and everything looks great while in premiere pro, but after exporting it, the color ends up looking dull and the whole video looks blurry. I'm filming with a canon vixia hf200 at 60i. It imports as a AVCHD file, I deinterlace it, and then export at the Vimeo HD settings. What can be causing the video to look horrible after exporting? What settings should I be exporting under? Any help would be appreciated!

It looks like you're coming up against some of the colorspace handling issues that the Premiere pipeline has.
Since your source is 60i AVCHD it's HD and thus rec709 colorspace. If it gets encoded with the standard rec601 colorspace (SD sizes are this) then all the colors get crushed. Look for a "709" and "601" radio button in your export settings. If it's not there you're out of luck.
The "blurry" is probably a poor quality de-interlacer. If Vimeo permits interlaced vs progressive do that instead. it's always cleaner to stay in the same video format all the way through.
TECHNICAL ASIDE:
rec709 is a triangle of possible colors that can be expressed by mixing of ratios of 3 emitters (the R G B corners of the triangle). (they are the RGB phosphors of a CRT and now LCD pixel elements)
rec709 is a bigger triangle than rec601 so it's capable of more colors. but if you accidently map that triangle's corners to the coordinates of rec601 it gets crushed.
In photography the "sRGB" uses the rec709 triangle. A bigger triangle that that is "Adobe RGB". So if you work in Adobe RGB and export to sRGB without conversion the colors get crushed because sRGB in inside the triangle of "Adobe RGB".

Video gets SOFT after using export/ media/match sequence settings

Never had this on any other version of PP. PC based 64bit Win 7
EX: I get a job delivered to me that was shot on mini dv (now on a HD) & the clips are all seperated as they were shot.
I put them on the TL & want to make 1 long clip out of them.
I export-media-match sequence settings & the video gets 25% softer. Yes my sequence settings are correct.
I have tryed using "max render quality" button but made no difference.
Does cs5 have a problem in this area? The video looks terrible!
Please advise

Just drag your footage to the New Item button and will create a sequence that matches your footage.
There isnt a preset for that size but you can use the Desktop setting and create one that way too.

Video not playing after exporting to Epub or pdf

Really need some help here!
I was making an ebook project with Indesign CS6 and was planning on putting some interactive videos which can be played in the ebook. However, after I've followed all the instructions online for placing video content into indesign and export as either interactive pdf or Epub format, the video I placed cannot be played and not even showing on Epub file.
Could someone help me to solve this kind of situation? Is there any setting I should make and I did not for exporting interactive video content?

1) The video I placed was in mp4 format.
2) On Media panel, I checked Option: "Play on Page Load" ,
                                            Poster: "From Current Frame" ,
                                        Controller: "SkinOverAll"
                                           "Show Controller on Rollover"
It worked fine on preview mode.
Now that I know Adobe Digital Edition doesn't preview video, and when I exported as interactive PDF format, the video frame cannot be clicked or played.
3) I was trying to export as EPUB3 and interactive PDF format
4) I was using Adobe Digital Editions and I did not know it doesn't preview video.

My video gets pixilated after importing in Premiere pro cc 2014. I've try to change settings but nothing happens.

My video gets pixilated (specifically the text on the video) after I import it in premiere. I don't think it's because of my editing because when i'm previewing a video after importing it the video is already downgraded and the text are so pixilated. I hope someone could help me.

My video is "jumping" after export.

After export my video, the image is "jumping" all the time. What happens?

Video is jittery after export.

The videos I have been exporting are jittery in fast motion scenes.
My Sequence settings are-
DV - NTSC: Widescreen 48kHz
Editing mode: DV NTSC
Timebase: 29.97 fps
Pixel aspect ratio: D1 Widescreen 1.2121
Fields: Lower field first
Display format: 30fps drop-frame timecode
Preview file format: NTSC DV
Codec: DV NTSC
Under playback settings-

Export: None
Disable video output when in the background is checked.

I burned the video to a DVD. It's also jittery using other software. Settings below.

Video Jumps & Skips after Exporting...HELP!

Hello All,
I am working with AVCHD footage in Premiere Pro & After Effects (using dynamic link). All of the clips in the Premiere Pro sequence I have used the "Replace with After Effects Composition". I am using After Effects mainly for keying out the green screen in my footage. I "Export" the sequence from Premiere Pro (QuickTime:MPEG-4) and when I play the 3:37 video, the first 1:39 has 20 clips that are jumpy and skip. There are also some clips in the beginning of the video that don't experience any sort of jumpy picture.
I am very confused & frustrated because the second half of the video is perfect. I even use some of the same footage in the beginning of the video in the end so it doesn't make sense that it skips & jumps in the beginning and not in the end!?
It is tough for me to explain so here is a link to see the problem & hopefully some of you have seen this and know how to fix it.
I am current with all updates for all my Adobe software (Adobe Production Premium CS4) so I don't believe this to be the issue.

In the clip, the beginning shows 2 different shots that are jumpy then you'll see the same shots (towards the end of the video) that don't jump.

Thanks Jeff...after some more investigation into this problem I was wondering if rendering it in AE with the the Field order set to either Upper or Lower has anything to do with it? Especially because a majority of my footage rendered out fine without this option selected at all?

Shaky video, less quality after exporting

Hello everyone!
Today i tried recording a Euro truck simulator 2 video, and after that a Sniper Elite V2 video with Fraps. The output files become .AVI files.
It looked perfect when i was looking at the raw footage, aswell as when i edited it and saw it in the preview window of Premiere Pro CS5. Im running it clean, so i've added nothing to it.
Im running on Windows 8.
Though, when i exported it, it started getting a little shaky getting a rather big quality loss aswell as black borders appearing in the video that i fixed in the preview/editing.
If anyone can help me out, i'd appreciate it. i have googled and looked at all the results that i've found and nothing have helped. I think its my third or fourth attempt on exporting and still failing at this time, and its the first video EVER to do this, which is abit weird.

Interlacing Issues after Exporting - Help!

So I'm having some very frustrating issues exporting a project from Premiere CS3. I'm trying to output to a lightweight quicktime format - either mp4 or an h264 .mov file. I've shot footage using a canon legria hf s10 camcorder, importing at 1920 x 1080 at 25 fps. I used apple's new iMovie to import the clips to my computer (because premiere doesn't seem to natively support AVCHD, which I think the camera shoots in). So I capture the footage with iMovie, then import those .mov files using premiere.
All this is fine, until there's a lot of horizontal motion in shots, where I get these ugly interlaced lines that really mar the quality of my footage. I'm trying to produce some videos in a professional setting, and these lines really hurt the overall perceived quality of my work. However, I thought I had found a fix when I selected the problematic clips and right-clicked, selected "field options," and clicked "always deinterlace." After doing so, the ugly lines disappeared, and when I play the clips back in premiere, I have no issues whatsoever. However, when I EXPORT the clips, the ugly interlacing somehow RETURNS... which is exceedingly frustrating, because I can't figure out how to get rid of them.
When I export, as said before, I am trying to create a relatively low-quality, 854 x 480, square pixel quicktime file of some sort. I've tried any number of exporting options to no avail.

Query SQL code gets deleted after export to Excel. "Query must have at least one destination field"

Hi all,
I'm getting really frustrated by this Access error. It happens when I export the result of a query through an Access macro to Excel, the first time it runs well but the next time, there is a chance that the query won't run and the error "Query
must have at least one destination field" will be displayed. After that, I try to check the query SQL code and discover the code has vanished. I'm using simple Select query without joins, only "where", "group by" and "order by"
statements.

You didn't mention what browser/s you have tested in and you didn't mention if you are testing the videos directly (click on mp4 file and open directly in QT) or if you tested in a browser locally before uploading to server.
Does the Browser you are testing in have a QuickTime pluggin? if not, the video will not display

Video becomes squashed after export

I do not know what I am doig wrong but everytime I export my finished video it seems to get squeezed. It is a simple head shot of a guy talking. Green screened.
I do not change settings for exporting, I just make it use current settings. It looks fine in the viewer, but when I play back it is elongated.

I am exporting to Quicktime Format, from Final Cut Pro HD.
I was wondering if it is the way I have captured the video? It is in Pro Cine mode, which I think makes it into 16:9, but I have used a 16:9 setting in my Final Cut Project.
What would be the best way to export?
