Video in Lightbox

Hallo,
ich habe folgendes Problem:
Ich möchte ein Video ( Iframe) in die Lightbox einfügen. Dies funktioniert auch, allerdings verschieben sich anschließend die anderen Elemente (nicht alle).
Was mache ich falsch? Gibt es noch andere Möglichkeiten, ein Video mit Iframe in Muse zu integrieren?

dazu müßte man die genaue Methode und den Code kennen. Die meiste Videoseiten verwenden halt eigenes CSS mit extra Padding ind das muss man einplanen.

How Do Embed a YouTube Video into the Video Gallery Lightbox Widget

I just downloaded the VGL widget at Video Gallery Lightbox | Exchange | Adobe Muse CC . I'm able to change the picture but have not figured out how to embed the video. The instructions say it can be changed "via an "insert html" but when I do this I just get another video inserted into the page. Help!!!

Select the composition and go to composition options > enable "show lightbox parts while editing".
Now select the target container and remove existing video and insert video html in that container. This way you can change the videos.

Embedding a video in Lightbox

I'm trying to use Lightbox to click on a thumbnail to open a Lightbox frame that holds a video to play.
I have Lightbox working, but I want to replace the full size Lightbox image with a video that is hosted at Vimeo.
I don't where (or how) to paste the embed code that I have from Vimeo web site.
Anyone know?

I guess I should have mentioned it is a jquery Lightbox that I want the video to open up in, in a full size frame with the background page darkened behind.
Once it opens I want to then be able to click the video to play.
This is different than just embedding the video code in the page and having it play right in the current page.

Videos in Lightbox format

Hi,
Is there a new/different way to add videos with Muse that isn't cut and paste HTML or Compositions Lightbox?
Right now it seems like Compositions is the only way, and that's very difficult as I can't reorder the order of the videos without deleting and recreating the whole thing. I have a new video a week that I need to add onto my website. With so many videos (20+), I feel it's confusing to the viewer if it's not in a lightbox format.
What I would really want is a Slideshow that you could easily rearrange the order of videos, or a button that would bring up a layer window like a sort of Lightbox with the video, perhaps with a scrolling bar of more videos to select from?

I know this post is older, but I was dealing with this same issue/question and found a solution. I read in another post that the order of the thumbnails is controlled by the stacking order. So if you rearrange your thumbnails in the order you visually want them, then select the first one, and go to the Object menu, "Bring to Front". Then select the second thumbnail, and bring it to the front. Continue doing this with all the thumbnails in the order you want them. Conversely, if you add a new thumbnail at the beginning, just "Send to Back" and it will be in the correct order. This way, you don't have to copy and paste anything or rebuild the content in each one. Trust me, I know what a pain that is, and I was doing the same thing until I found this solution.

Issues with Video Lightbox Gallery from Muse Exchange...

I've been trying to customize the Video Lightbox Gallery from the exchange, Video Gallery Lightbox | Exchange | Adobe Muse CC
I'm using embed codes from Vimeo. My first issue was that when I replace the placeholder embed code with my Vimeo code, the frame size is considerably smaller. From Vimeo it is 500x281 and in the widget it is 700x396. So I changed the frame size in my Vimeo embed and that seemed to work. Now, though, when a preview the page it plays fine in the window, but when I enter full screen and then escape from that while the video is playing to go back the smaller window, it jumps up so far up the screen it is off the page... It doesn't happen with the placeholder video and the only difference I can see is that it's from YouTube and mine is from Vimeo. I haven't change any of the settings except for the embed code. Can anyone help me with this?

I wanted to add that I am using on one page design and I have multiple video galleries further down the page. What I've noticed is that no matter which thumbnail I play and enter into full screen, when I hit escape, that window jumps all the way to the top instead of staying locked to where is originated. Again, it doesn't do it with the placeholder video, only when I replace it with my embed codes from Vimeo. This is very frustrating because I am so close to finishing and this issue is holding me up. I've searched and searched and cannot find the answer... is there anyone who can help, please?

Embedded Youtube videos not working in Chrome or Firefox?

I have embedded some YouTube videos into Lightbox widgets and they play fine on IE and Safari but not on Chrome or Firefox. The poster of video shows but you can't click on it. Didn't know if Java Script was required but have it enabled on all Browsers.

You can also try Right clicking on the added HTML code>Arrange>Bring to Front and see if it resolves your issue.

Overlapping sound of video in IE

Hi, I have an issue with video with Internet Explorer 9 & 10. I put videos in lightbox in Muse, everythig is perfect in chrome, safari & firefox, but in Internet Explorer, when I click outside de lightbox to close the widget, the sound continu... and, in the lightbox, when I click the next button, I can hear the sound of the previous video and the video on the page.
Anyone have an idea????

By default this functionality is not available through Connect. However, you could use a device like a THAT-2 to broadcast the audio from the video over the phone.

I Am trying to great a html5 video in edge and when I use the publish box and create a 'oam' file and place it in muse. It will not play on the Ipa.

I have two problems that I just can not find support or solve…yet;) Problems have to do with creating a Motion Graphic portfolio section in a video gallery lightbox environment.
1) When I link video from Vimeo or YouTube, there are unattractive add ons at the end of video which allow viewer to choose other peoples videos to watch. How do I get rid of the clutter? Would it be best if I hosted my own video so that it is clean looking? I have about 15 or 20 video between 10-15 seconds long to post. They don’t need to be full screen, 500px width is good. Too much for self hosting as an asset?
2) How do I create a video gallery in a lightbox tabbed environment? So far, I have the tabs create . Major problem is getting the lightbox to behave the same with videos as it does with images. I found something last night, messed around with it, but still don’t understand how to make it work properly because it does not come with instruction. Is there a way to show/hide a group of objects that will work in html5?

I consider myself to have a fairly decent understanding of captivate and its functions but this recent issue has stumped me.
I have a button with javascript attached to it that runs a typical if loop: (pseudo code to follow)
if(variable = 1){
show "group" and variable = 0;
} else{
hide "group" and variable = 1;
Now normally, I would do this with single images, etc, and it would work fine. You click the button (the image being unticked where it says "visible in output") and the image shows itself, then you click the button, and it hides. Very standard stuff.
My issue, is that captivate seems to let you name a group you make....but they have not given you any control of that group.
Problem:
I want a way to show and hide a group of objects by only clicking one button (when published to html5).
I want to only have to reference the group and dont want to need to write a separate line of code for every single component that makes up that group (assuming the solution has to be coded).
Is it even possible to control groups like this within captivate?

There is an adobe video that I think shows how to do exactly what you are asking.

At about 10min 50sec, it goes over creating a group from a number of single elements.
At about 12min 30sec, it shows creating an action that turns the whole group on and another to turn the group off.
When I did this myself, I used just one action that toggled the group on or off, but they show it as two actions. The idea is the same.

As you have mentioned that you want to use the gallery , you can download and add the library and then insert on page. On page you can then add the images you wish.

I want to add video to my muse web site using a lightbox

This is where the call center directed me. I do not understand the web language please forgive my miss use of words or language. I am a novice.
So here is what has happened so far..
Adobe will not help me over the phone =( because
First time Adobe does not support templates... So I started over.
Second time Adobe does not support customization code (Not that I know how do to this either =) So I started over again.
Now I'm on try 3
I have a new Muse file without a template and made 100% in muse except for the Photoshop files.
I want to add video to my muse web site using a lightbox WITHOUT uploading to youtube or vimeo. I can not post videos there because I do not want YouTube or Vimeo to take away the copyright when it is my clients and or mine.
I would like to have the videos hosted or embedded on my server. The person on the phone said something about iFrames ????
I would like to do it in a way so If I have to call adobe again it will be supported.

SharePoint Online video - Lightbox

I have some videos in a document library(Asset library) that I am looking to show using a jQuery Lightbox instead of using the standard VideoPlayer.aspx page, by retrieving a bunch of links from a SharePoint list using JSOM. My intention is to use the Venobox
plugin available here http://jquery-plugins.net/venobox-responsive-jquery-lightbox-plugin which supports an IFrame.
Can anyone suggest on the best way to approach this problem?

I have hundreds of videos and looking to pull links from a SharePoint list using conditional CAML and JSOM. I will not be able to create 100 pages each with embed code so I am looking for a solution where I can link to a page and pass in the video Url or
show video using a light box.

Resizing video in muse lightbox

Hey,
I've been working on a video site and I'm using lightbox.
Two things
1- every time I try to resize the video to fit it doesn't do it. In fact it brings in the video smaller.
Any thoughts on how to get this widget to behave.
2- I'd like to just have a wall of thumnails and a video on top... rather than the lightbox. Which widget is great for video?
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Can't target correct container for video in a Lightbox.

I'm trying to embed a YouTube video into a Lightbox (ala, Katie's Cafe, which I did successfuly last week). It just keeps showing up on the page, NOT in the right container. I have followed the directions about 20 times from the Katie's Cafe site, and no go. When I get to the part where you delete the existing default flower image, that image frame is no longer selected (like it says in the instructions). So I click on Widget / Container / Container then Insert HTML object, but it doesn't stick in the Lightbox, but shows up outside. I am going crazy. This is my first Muse site and I (and my client) is loving it. Help please! and thank you.

Thank you for replying. I had previously gotten it to work, but not sure how! I did use the Composition Lightbox Display, but my problem was when I deleted the ridged flower image, somehow lost the image frame. I ended up temporarily brightly coloring each of the elements, and that helped me to target the correct element. But somehow the instructions on Katie's Cafe no longer seem to be quite accurate?
Anyway, just now I have another problem in that I can not select this Lightbox widget at all. I've arranged all other page elements Backward, but no matter how many times or where I click, I cannot get the lightbox to select. Have I somehow "frozen" this object or otherwise made it inaccessible? I need to make some changes and feel like I probably have to delete it and start over?
I love Muse, doing my first (fairly large) site, but am running into more little frustrations -- mostly my own ignorance, but sometimes Muse's fault!
