Video iPhone 4 to PC

iv'e searched posts and tried some of the suggestions but still no good.
5 min vid on phone, can't see how to transfer it through iTunes so done through My Computer, opened in iTunes, Quicktime & Media Player and the quality is rubbish, it jumps, skips frames, rubbish sound and i thought the HD vid from phone would be good quality when on PC. Short of getting a Mac is there any recommended software. Any help much appreciated.

@nedhamilton, I'd have to disagree.
Reason being, I have an old Dell PC (XP) with 256MB RAM, that's right I said 256 ha ha. I also have a laptop (VISTA) with 1gb of RAM and it's only about a year old. The videos skip on both the desktop and the laptop.
Do you watch them in quicktime player? This is what I do and it jumps. Sound is ok though.
Surely there must be some software out there that can do it.

  • I can't delete some photo/video iPhone 4S iOS7.0.4 (11B554a)

    Hello,
I am not able to delete some photos and videos on my iPhone 4S, (32gb, ios 7.0.4).  It is 3gb worth of videos and photos.  The photos are not in my camera roll (i deleted that to zero) and the videos are not in the video app.   When I go to album view I cannot delete some albums, I can delete some but not others.  There is a folder/album called video and that is where I have a bunch of videos.
I tried to go to iTunes and just resync my photos to nothing (sync with selected photos and select nothing) and that is not working because iTunes is saying that it is not Authorized.  I try to re-authorized the computer only to be told that it is authorized.  I backup and sync again and basically cant even sync my iphone anymore.  Backup yes, sync no.
This must be an ios7 problem because I had no trouble before.
How can I delete the 3gb worth of photos and videos?  how can i delete the albums that are not offered to delete ?
    thanks for any input!
    Olias

Never mind guys, I found out how to fix my problem. The problem I had was that I downloaded an app on my iMac, and used it to import videos and pictures from my ipad to my computer because for some reason, it wouldn't sync, and I didn't want to use the cloud. Anyway, I had to go on my iMac and delete it from the app I downloaded and viola! The videos that I wanted to delete are all gone

  • Time to transfer video- iPhone 4 to iPhoto

Does anyone know how long it would take to transfer a 30min HD video from an iPhone 4 to iPhoto?
I would like to use this phone for work to record interviews, and I need to give the client a copy at the end of the meeting. But if it takes ages to transfer then it won't work for me.
    Thanks!

  • Music Video iPhone play problem

I have an mp4 that plays fine in iTunes, I can add it to my iPhone and play it as a Movie, but when I set the file to a Music Video it will not play. It opens the play screen then just quits back to my file list.

Also check to see that your silence switch isn't toggled on. The switch is located next to the volume up and down buttons on the left side of the device when you are looking at the display.
If you are using a case, the switch may be covered or difficult to access.
Toggle the switch and try to play music.

  • Videos iphone sync

    hi
i made some videos with the iphone 4.
I just synced the iphone with itunes.
But I cant find my videos on my mac.
where are they stored, or where can I find them.
I've checked the option sync videos in iTunes.

Check your iTunes settings. Does iPhone have setting to sync only unplayed videos like can? Try that setting if so.

  • One or Two ITunes Account?  -- Own both iPod Video & iPhone 3GS

    Hi
I've just bought an iPhone 3GS (this is my first iPhone, so everything is new to me). I also own an iPhone video, which I bought a couple of years ago. My question is, do I need to set up two different iTunes accounts (i.e. a new a/c for my iPhone, separately from the a/c I've been using for my iPod video)? I cannot imagine using the same account for two different devices... maybe it's possible, I don't know. I have lots of podcast downloads and also movies on my iPod video account. I'm afraid of messing it up. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have one account and an iPhone, an iPod Touch, and 4 other iPods. iTunes recognizes each as a separate device and I can select the sync options I want for each. I don't do any manual management. I select the playlists I want on each device.

  • Can't able to syn own videos iPhone using the new version of iTunes 12.0.1

Can't able to syn own videos to iPhone using the new version of iTunes 12.0.1

    Hi Hamedkhan,
Happy New Year!  The resources below will show you how to sync your home videos to your iPhone using iTunes 12 for Windows:
iTunes 12 for Windows: Syncing overview
    http://support.apple.com/kb/PH20342?viewlocale=en_US
    Do I have to sync?
If you have iPod classic, iPod nano, or iPod shuffle: You have to sync your device with iTunes. There’s no other way to add content to it.
If you have an iOS device (iPod touch, iPhone, or iPad): You only need to sync your device with iTunes if you want to:
Add your iTunes playlists to your device (unless you subscribe to iTunes Match)
Add your own videos to your device
Add photos, contacts, and calendars to your device (if you don’t use iCloud)
Remove previously synced items from your device
If you prefer not to sync, you don’t have to: you can download items from the iTunes Store directly to your device, and—if you have a free iCloud account—use iCloud to make sure items like your photos, contact, and calendars are on both your computer and device.
iTunes 12 for Windows: Sync iPod, iPhone, or iPad
    http://support.apple.com/kb/PH20343?viewlocale=en_US
iTunes 12 for Windows: Sync iPod, iPhone, or iPad
To add items on your computer to your iPod, iPhone, or iPad, you sync them using iTunes. You can have iTunes sync items automatically (which is the quickest option), or drag items to your device manually (which gives you more control)—or you can do both. You can also remove items from your device automatically or manually.
For more information about syncing, see Syncing overview.
    Select items to sync automatically
Connect your device to your computer and click the device button near the top left of the iTunes window.
Select the type of content you want to sync (for example, Music or Apps) in the sidebar on the left.
Select the Sync checkbox, then select the items you want to sync automatically each time you connect your device.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 for each type of content you want to include on your device.
The bar at the bottom of the window shows how much space will remain on your device after you sync.
By default, iTunes syncs your device whenever you connect it to your computer. If you want to have iTunes ask you before syncing, do one of the following:
Require a prompt before syncing this device: Click Summary, then deselect “Open iTunes when this [device] is connected.”
Require a prompt before syncing all devices: Choose Edit > Preferences, click Devices, and select “Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically.”
When you’re ready to sync, click Apply.
Tip:    To automatically sync a connected device at any time, choose File > Devices > Sync [device name].
WARNING:    If you delete an automatically synced item from your iTunes library, the deleted item is removed from your device the next time you sync.
Add items to your device manually
You can manually add music, movies, TV shows, apps, podcasts, and iTunes U lessons to your device. You can’t manually add photos, books, contacts, or other info.
Make sure your device is connected.
From anywhere in your iTunes library, begin dragging the items you want to add.
A pane with a list of connected devices appears on the left.
Drag the items to your device in the list until a blue border appears.
The items are added to your device.
Keep items from being automatically synced
If there are some items you never want synced (for example, if they’re too big to fit on your device), you can keep them from being synced.
You can also turn off automatic syncing for music, movies, and TV shows. You must do this if you want to sync iPod classic, iPod nano, or iPod shuffle with more than one iTunes library, or automatically fill your device with songs using Autofill (see the next task, below).
Connect your device to your computer.
Click the device button, then click Summary.
    Do any of the following:
Keep individual items from being synced: Select “Sync only checked [items].” Then, deselect the checkbox next to any items in your iTunes library that you don’t want synced.
Turn off automatic syncing for music, movies, and TV shows: Select “Manually manage music and videos.”
    Click Apply.
Fill your device with a random selection of songs using Autofill
If you don’t want to always hear the same music on your device, you can have iTunes fill it with a random selection of songs by using Autofill.
To use Autofill, you must turn off automatic syncing for music and videos (see instructions above).
Connect your device to your computer and click the device button near the top left of the iTunes window.
    Click On My Device.
Select Music in the sidebar on the left.
Choose which songs you want to sync from the Autofill pop-up menu at the bottom of the Music pane.
To adjust Autofill settings, click Settings.
    When you’re done, click OK.
    Click Autofill, then click Sync.
Each time you use Autofill, iTunes adds different songs to your device.
    Remove items from your device
Make sure your device is connected, then do one of the following:
Remove an item that was synced automatically: Do any of the following, then sync your device:
Deselect the checkbox for the item in your iTunes library, and select “Sync only checked [items]” in the Summary pane.
If the item was added because it’s part of a synced playlist, remove the item from the playlist.
Change your sync settings to keep the item from being synced.
Remove an item that was added manually or using Autofill: Click On My Device, select an item (or items), press the Delete key, and click Delete.
The types of content you can sync depends on your device. For more information, see the documentation for your device.
You can sync multiple devices with your iTunes library, and use different settings for each device.
Important:    Before disconnecting iPod classic, iPod nano, or iPod shuffle from your computer, click the Eject button .
    Sync and organize iOS apps
Add photos to iPod, iPhone, or iPad
Sync contacts, calendars, and other info with iPod, iPhone, or iPad

  • Watching previously uploaded videos (iPhone 3.0)

When videos shot with the 3Gs are downloaded to iPhoto, what is the best way to view them again on the iPhone?
When I look at Photos, only the JPGs are there. I was able to load the videos back into the library, but that involved opening the iPhoto Library and dragging them into the iTunes Movie section. Is that the correct/best way?
    Thanks,
    Michael

I came across this yesterday. We probably have 1,000+ videos in our iTunes U site and they have worked fine in iTunes, and synced/played on video iPods, including the Touch. They are MPEG4 with H.264 and our video team has established guidelines for settings: data rate, frame rate,& key frame. We routinely upload videos that display at 640X480 and are around 250MB for 50-60 minutes long videos. I consulted with an Apple iTunes U manager who said that our videos are "out of spec for iPods or iPod app on iPhone or iPod touch" and pointed me to the admin guide http://tinyurl.com/lgyn22 where it says "it is recommended that your source file is at least 640 pixels wide and that you use the built-in iPod converters in Compressor (“H.264 for iPod”), QuickTime Pro (“Movie to iPod”), or iTunes (“Convert Selection for iPod”)." When I converted a 264MB video in iTunes using "create iPod or iPhone version" it takes a good two hours on my new iMac and the file size is now 484MB. If we face a high end limit of 500MB for files, this is not an attractive solution. We face breaking our videos into parts.
I'm told that there are settings in Podcast Producer that accommodate iPhones but again, the file sizes increase enormously.

  • Blurry Videos iPhone 5s

The videos I receive thru Text Messages or iPhone Messaging are always blurry when played back.  Any idea how to correct his problem?  My friend has the same iPhone 5s as me, and has no problem viewing the videos when sent to both of us thru a group message.  (she's also using IOS 8)  Mine are too blurry to even make out who's in the video.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

There are no settings you can change in iOS that will fix this. If there are settings within the app... that's something you'd have to ask the app developer.

  • Video - iphone causes high ping - BT Hub 5

Can anyone help me on this please?
When my iPhone 5S with iOS8.0.2 connects to my BT Hub 5, my ping instantly goes up and my internet is un-usable.
Video showing the issue on youtube here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQlTM4DgOEA
    Thanks

    UPDATE
This appears to be a compatibility issue with iPhone 5S's (ive tested 2) and this BT Business Hub 5.
I turned the wireless off on the Hub, set it to be a modem only. Then plugged a third party wireless router into the Hub to give wireless back which i have set with the exact same SSID / Password that the BT Hub 5 was using) it is fine and doesn't cause any problems at all.
So it looks like it is a problem with the BT Hub 4 / 5? Compatibility issue with iPhones?
Has other people had this issue?

  • Subtitles for a video iPhone 4S

    Hi All,
I have been searching all over the forum but I dint get a proper answer to this.
The scenario is I have the MP4 file and SRT corresponding to it.
Could somebody please tell me how to push it into the mp4 and so that I could enable/disable the subtitle in my iPhone?
I am using Windows 7. I use Ultra Video Converter to convert avi to mp4.
    Thanks in Advance!
    GK

I Got a solution for this..
HandBrake converter does it easily, it produces a M4V file in which we can embed as many as subs. So that we can choose which sub to be displayed in the video app.

  • Hissing Sound Video Iphone 4

I noticed there was a thread earlier about this that has gone cold... I have a LOAD of hiss on the video recordings. Does anyone have any info about how this might be resolved. Iphone 4 is still new here in Sweden so I dont think this issue has been properly documented yet. Faulty phone or or is it a software thing?
    Thank you.

I have the same problem with my video recordings I talked to someone and I have to send in my phone so they can check it out. I think it's a hardware issue bc I send the video to a friend and same out come when they receive the video , good luck buddy call the support line and they can talk you through it so you can get your phone back to normal or they will have to replace it.....
