Video is not displayed during rendering

Since the purchase of a new PC (Windows 7, Intel i7, Geforce GTX970, 16 Gb RAM) its not possible anymore to render AVCD or .mts clips. The clips can be played in WMP. When te clips are loaded and played only the audio is played and the video remains still. A crosshair is visible in the centre of the clip (to rendere it smaller or bigger). Is the video card the problem?

The troubleshooting should be evaluated with Quicktime (latest version) installed on your computer with Premiere Elements 10.
However, history is for problem with the known Premiere Elements 10/NVIDIA GeForce situation that you are in where the fix is
to roll back the card driver version to about May 2013. This is a well documented issue here and elsewhere.

If we go to the NVIDIA web site and its available older drivers for NVIDIA GTX970 for Windows 7 64 bit
NVIDIA Driver Downloads - Advanced Search
You will see that NVIDIA does not have driver version old enough for the fix based on the history for this issue.
Are you doing SD or HD projects?
Based on the above, it would appear to me that you are left with
a. get a non NVIDIA GeForce video card/graphics card for your computer
or
b. move to Premiere Elements 11, 12/12.1, or 13/13.1 on the present computer.
Please review and consider.

Video does not display when sending from Final Cut Pro to Motion

Suddenly, when sending an audio & video sequence to Motion, a new Motion file is created, and all my layers come in properly, but the video does not display.
The audio plays fine, and Motion clearly know that there are video tracks there, but it does not display them.
Additionally, when rendering the Motion file back in FCP, it turns in to black video.
I have previous sequences within the same project that were sent just fine, and are editable properly, but any new ones I try to create just come out black.

Do you have Motion mistakenly set to render out with an Alpha channel?
Double click your Motion clip in the Timeline. Go to Modify > Composite Mode in the menu bar and set the Alpha to "None/Ignore".

Video is not displaying in the latest shockwave

After updating to the latest version of Shockwave, .flv videos are not displaying. The audio is there but no video.
What is going on Adobe?

I agree - I am seeing an area where I presume video should be playing but I only hear the sound.
You won't find an Adobe representative or tech support here, just other users trying to help one another.
I assume Raymond that you are the content developer? Have you tried isolating the issue into a minimal file that could be submitted to Adobe as a bug report? I would suggest doing so as a start on getting your issue addressed. If you're lucky, doing so will lead you to find a solution, or perhaps a work-around. Create a file that only plays a video. You said earlier:
I use the Flash asset and call.import which ever video is needed.
perhaps you could post some code, or a link to a demo file that reproduces your problem

Photos not displaying during playback

Hi all
I added a few still photos from my iPhoto library at the beginning of a showreel I am putting together but for some reason some of the photos won't display during playback.
They appear on the timeline just fine but during playback they go black before it returns to the rest of of the video clip where normal play resumes.
I have tried to move the photos, delete then re-add the photos but still nothing.
The photos display perfectly in all other sources and devices.
Any ideas?

I am having the same issue.
There are several methods.
Hold option and CMD when iPhoto starts and rebuild the data base, then try grabbing them form iPhoto to iMovie.
Export them from iPhoto to the desktop and drag from desktop to iMovie.
Thats the 2 which I have limped through the last couple of issues I have had with it, but now I am having no luck at all with an of the solutions (check my recent post about this issue and Apples lack of sh*ts given about it), there are listed the solutions I have tried.

WVC80N Video Stream not displaying on iOS6 browsers

I updated an iPhone and iPad to iOS6 yesterday. Now my Linksys WVC80N video streams will not display on both Safari and Chrome browsers.   On Safari if I go to the Camera "Home" page then use the browser Back button to the View Video page then I can get a still from the camera. Any ideas on how to fix this issue?

I just checked the release note of this firmware 1.0.01. Perhaps, you can try another browser for isolation before updating the router. That might be a browser problem (maybe not supported yet).

During Clickonce installation of WPF application, Icon File(ico) is not displayed in the start Menu and installed applications list in control panel..
Default icon only gets displayed.

You also set the ico file as the project icon.
Since that's under the Icon and Manifest I guess you did that.
Also
The main window ought to have it's icon set to thee icon.
The main window is the first window you open - which of course may or may not be called MainWindow.

2006 Mac Pro + NEC 3090 - grey screen not displayed during boot

I have a September '06 Mac Pro 1,1 (Woodcrest variant) hooked up to an NEC 3090 30" LCD monitor, running OS X 10.5.7. Previously, I was using an Eizo S2110W 21" LCD; turning the monitor and computer on would cause the following to be displayed (in order):
1. Light grey background with dark grey Apple logo with spinning thing.
2. Solid blue background.
3. Leopard wallpaper.
4. Log-in dialogue.
Since using the NEC, the grey screen is not displayed at all: the display stays blank until the blue screen is displayed, and then the Leopard wallpaper and so on. This is using the 2560x1600 native resolution of the display, and has occurred using both 10.5.6 and 10.5.7.
If I change the resolution to 1280x960 and boot, the grey screen is displayed. If I change it to 1600x1200, I get weird corruption on-screen during the period when the grey screen should be displayed; for some reason, this includes part of the desktop wallpaper I was using before I rebooted.
Resetting the non-volatile RAM using Command-Option-P-R works for the very first time I boot the computer, though the grey screen is displayed at very low resolution. If I reboot from the log-in dialogue immediately afterwards, normal behaviour occurs - i.e. the blank screen.
The upshot of all of the above is that if I want to boot into Windows, or install OS X (e.g. when Snow Leopard comes out), I have to remember to boot into my existing OS X installation, change resolution, reboot whilst remembering also to hold down the ALT/Option key. It would be much easier if I could do away with having to change resolution.
I have tried connecting the monitor to a PPC Mac mini at 1600x1200 (it won't go any higher), using Tiger 10.4.11 (not sure of exact version - the latest). At this resolution, the grey screen is displayed.
Using a '08 MacBook Air (first generation) and the supplied DVI adapter, also at 1600x1200, nothing is displayed on the NEC until I get to the log-in screen. This occurs if the NEC is set to be the primary display or the secondary one - the only difference is where the log-in dialogue is displayed. I am not familiar with dual-screen behaviour, so I can't say whether anything is supposed to be displayed or not (i.e. does the grey appear on both displays?).
I have been in touch with NEC Europe support on this issue, who suggested it might have something to do with the 10.5.7 release. I know this not to be the case, as it was occurring prior to 10.5.7 being released.
Any ideas?

Put more of your hardware listed in your profile.
I looked and don't see you list your graphics card anywhere.
Graphic card it came with was either X1900 (watch for heat and dust bunnies and clogged vent);
OEM 7300GT (seems unlikely).
You could have replaced either with 8800GT or ATI 3870.
Require 10.5.2+ ideally 10.5.6+.
Some problems cropped up with 10.5.7. 10.5.7 doesn't work on some (many) 3rd party displays and stay with 10.5.6 if necessary until it is fixed or resolved.
But you say it happens with 10.5.6 also, and was doing so before 10.5.7? which makes your problem somewhat different or unique.
Zapping PRAM or NVRAM reset obviously shouldn't be needed repeatedly. And your graphics card probably needs to be replaced, or test with another card to rule it out.

Youtube videos are not displaying as a whole

Contact names not displaying during calls, but only in logs

Many names in the address book not showing up
Hence, when i get a call or make one, the name doesnt come up with the number
after the call, the number with the name is visible in call log as outgoing or incoming or missed
in the database details it shows my address book having 238 numbers (these are the numbers currently visible)
so how is it that the names are visible in the log and not in the address book and also not visible during a call
Please help
(a search for this topic hasnt got me the correct results)

Unknown members not displayed during lock and send

Hi We are on 11.1.2
A user is using lock & Send to update approx 3000 rows of data. The issue is, some members do not exist in outline any more.
so Display unknown members is Ticked ON in Global properties to make it easy to find the unknown members, but its not displaying any unknown members.

License Agreements not displayed during Install

I created and installer in LabVIEW 2011 (64-bit OS with Windows 7). I added a custom license agreement (rtf) file to my installer and included it as shown below.
The setup.ini includes a reference to the file and I confirmed that the file exists in the License folder:
When I test the installer on my development PC or target PCs, my custom license agreement is not displayed. I've toggled the boxes in the setup.ini to show the standard NI EULA but that doesn't get displayed either.
My setup.exe file is dated 6/21/2011. I checked previous installers that worked properly and the setup.ini files looked similar but the setup.exe was dated 9/1/2010.
Any advice is appreciated...

I created a new installer with two files added to the project: test.exe and license file.rtf. I selected "include custom license agreement" in the dialog section of the project explorer. The custom license file was added to the "license" folder in the "Volume" folder when compiled. The setup.ini file has these parameters listed:

When I ran the installer, there was no custom EULA an no NI EULA. Has anyone tested this functionily in LV 2011? Any ideas??

Illustrator CS5 not responding during rendering

Hi,
I have a strange problem that I don't understand, maybe someone can help me?
I run Illustrator CS5 on a win7 64bits / i7 / 8 Go RAM / ATI Radeon HD 5470 and each time I want to apply a simple 3D effect (3D rotation), AI is freezing during the rendering... The aim is to do a disco ball by revolution of a half circle with a map art for the disco ball faces. Everything is OK until I try to change the disco ball perspective axis! Illustrator is not responding anymore and win7 ask me for closing the program.
I have already try different issues without success:
- change the scratch disk
- improve the performance : closing all running applications, simplify win7 display settings (disable aero,...), clean/defrag the disk, the register and memory, define a swap up to 24 Go
- ramdisk dedicated to readyboost, scratch disk of AI and swap
It usually freezes after 50% progression, with the optimized performance it goes sometimes until 90%...

You simply have too many blend steps and it's running out of memory. Expand the "More" section to control that.

Flash video will not display properly

I've followed all the instructions on the Mozilla website, but Flash videos displayed within Firefox still appear pixelated and purple in color. The same site in IE looks fine. I have the latest version of Flash installed.

Quicktime video does not display?

I have designed several sites that have Quicktime videos but they do not play. Does Quicktime not work on the iPhone? The videos on Apple were the only ones online that we were able to play.

iPhone uses HS214 video format. See the technical specification. You need to convert any movie format to this format(m4). There are programs available for that, try vailsoft or something..

Open items displayed in FBL1N but not displayed during vendor payment

Hi gurus,
Does anyone have any idea about this topic?
When using FBL1N, I can display all my vendor items, but when I want to pay the vendor with f-53, the system tells me there are no open items, whereas I saw several of them in FBL1N.
It does not seem to be a problem of due date (I use same due date in fbl1n and f-53).
Would anyone have any idea?

In f110 propsal may be active and you might have selected those items but you have not completed the payment program pls check the payment proposal if line items are there you delete the proposal then try f-53 .............
