IPad 2 model MC706LL/A (WIFI but no phone), 32GB with 14 available, running iOS 8.1.1 (12B435).
Got interested in "eyejot". Looked like it would work on ipad AND desktop. Though ad said it was available in the App Store... it wasn't when I accessed it from the icon on my tablet. However, when I accessed the product website here (http://blog.eyejot.com/about) I get an ad that looks old and makes me suspect. Is this a reliable product that works well and is it really for sale in the App Store? If so... any idea why my icon that takes me to the App Store reports "No results for 'eyejot'"?

As far as I remember, the 6680 has no built-in "Video Mail" application/support (it has MMS and support for 3G video calls).
Sounds like you're talking of some sort of operator service. It might help, if you stated which operator and in which country (or called their customer service and asked them directly).

    Verizon touts its 4G network as blazing fast and what not, while the truth is LTE is NOT a 4G technology - It's Verizon's marketing term and the loophole that allows them to use the term is it's Verizon's 4th gen network (for that matter, any carrier is free to use 50G if they wanted) - while providing a laughable service that is absolutely NO WHERE close to what 4G was intended for.

    My issue is with the quality of the video sent in a video mail. Yesterday, I sent a video mail from my Verizon 4G phone to another Verizon 4G phone. Both showing 4G signals. First of all, videos done in HD is out of question for sending as a video-mail. You can only use the absolutely low quality qcif / 3gp format which is nothing but a PIXELATED MESS!! It's NO BETTER than the quality of videos in video-mail service from 5 years ago.
    Is Verizon going to do something to improve the quality of the video sent through its video-mail service while they tout how the 4G is changing people's lives? Or may be they don't want to "overload" their whimpy network because it might break that thing?
    Anyone?

    What version of Premiere Elements and on what computer operating system is it running?
    What is the bitrate of the source and what is the bitrate in the export settings for Windows Media?
    Do the videos have no sound because there is no sound included in the file or are you losing sound in the export?
    What is the maximum flle size accepted in your emailing process?
    Is something like Dropbox or Google Drive an option for the sending?

    Basically I cannot upload videos sent from a Sprint PCS mobile to my email account because Windows technology is required. I am aware of the virtual box and bootcamp but I would much prefer a Mac only solution...Perhaps someone has written a script or knows a workaround?
    Any help appreciated even if that means redirecting me to another section of this forum, but in this case, which one exactly?

    I didn't misread your post. To me this clearly states that (a) it can't be done any other way and (b) you would like to do it another way.

    Since you refuse to provide details about the required "Windows technology", I can only guess that perhaps it's an issue regarding WMV files. If that's the case, you should investigate Flip4Mac WMV: http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/28842 .
    If that's not the problem, you could increase the chances that someone could help you by supplying details of the required "Windows technology".

  • Video Mail / Sprint

    Hello,
    I'm unable to upload my videos from my sprint cell phone to my PC. This is a know problem that according to Apple requires that I use bootcamp. I've done it for a while but I'm now wondering if there exist another fix /workaround to this problem that does not require that that switch to virtual window because it's inconvenient.

    Yes, I receive an email from an address such as [email protected] which has a View Video button in it. If click on it it redirects to
    http://pictures.sprintpcs.com/share.do?invite=BEzrmT578hUX0Uc7kLWh&shareName=MMS &messageState=RETRIEVED
    but there the video does not play as it should. This is a known problem to both Sprint PCS and Apple. I'm just hoping there's a technical guy out there that has gone though the trouble of finding a workaround that does not involve Windows and would not mind sharing it.

  • Converting .swf to video without losing frames

    This question has been asked and incorrectly answered a number of times already. Specifically, on an Apple computer, it seems that there is no way to get a video file (.mov, .mpg or any other) out of Flash Pro without severe loss of quality or complete destruction of frame rate.
    My .swf files look fantastic, just like they are supposed to. The play at the correct frame rate and all items work as I have set them up. When I go to export it as an .mov or .mpg, the frame rate speeds up and slows down depending on the objects on the screen. I have played with the settings endlessly, knocking the quality down to almost the lowest settings (something I would rather not do after working very hard on my piece) as well as adjusting the frame rate options all over the place to see if anything changed. Nothing. I have read many a forum where Flash creators have the same problems and are tearing their hair out because their work is essentially useless being stuck in Flash.
    I know that there are programs that convert .swf files to video very well, some of them cost about $100. Why buy Flash in the first place if you have to buy another, almost equally priced piece of software just to get your content out of Flash? I also know that there are hundreds of free video converters out there for Apples, none of them seem to be able to handle the .swf format, but can do just about everything else. I further know that for windows, there is the free Iwisoft .swf to video converter that works just fine, but does not handle Apple created .swf files when ported across to a PC. How is it that such software is easy and free on a Windows machine, but not a Mac?
    I would love it if an Adobe rep could answer some of these questions because I have been all over the web looking for answer to which no one seems to have the right one. Most people can suggest a good video converter that works for them, but they haven't tried it on a .swf file and when the original user tries it, it does not work and the thread dies there. Any suggestions?

    @DR. Silky - I reviewed the converter logs at approximately the time you must have tried the conversion.  As you guessed Flabaco was designed for shorter length animations but it can handle longer animations - It just requires more time and server resources.
    I've forced the conversion for your swf file (I assume I got the correct swf) and it should now be converted.
    This conversion required manual intervention but if there are users for such requirements, I'd like to make such conversions possible.
    To download the converted videos, goto www.flash-banner-converter/converter using the same browser you used. As long as the browser cache wasn't cleared  - or - as long as the Start Again button wasn't clicked, you will see the converted videos.
    If you are unable to see the  videos mail me the swf filename and I'll send you a direct link. (use the email address mentioned on the support page as you might not want your content exposed on a public forum)
    The videos are in 3 formats - webm, mp4 and ogv.  The quality of each of these videos might differ and you can choose the one that suits you best.
    Note: The conversion token / serial number was R1328993157691***_*****_****. You'll see this number on the converter page (but not the home page). (If you see a different number it means I've forced the conversion of the wrong swf.)
    Would be glad to help with any more conversions you have - after all its an opportunity for Flabaco to improve and become more useful.

  • Spotlight and Mail searches

    I have just replaced my 2007 MP with a shiny new one, (garbage can someone described it to me) !
    The computer is responding a bit slowly entering text into Safari fields, i.e. logging into sites, username & passwords - I type out a word and it takes seconds to appear in the box.
    Also searches in Mail & Spotlight do not yield any results and judging by other posts on the subject, is probably down to Spotlight indexing the 3TB of data on the Pegasus drive.
    I did not migrate any files over from my old MP as I wanted to keep a clean new drive.(I did this initially but ended up in a mess so had to erase the disk and reinstall Yosemite) I have reinstalled the majority of my apps that were on the old machine from the app store and note a significant difference in the sizes of the Libraries :
                        Old MP          New MP
    Library          88gb                 6 gb
    User library   33gb               11 gb
    So some questions arising that hopefully someone will answer :-
    Doing a spotlight search of the Pegasus drive - there is no progress bar (as noted in other posts) - there is a message that just says "Searching Promise". So presumably it is indexing the drive. Not sure how long it will take to do 3TB of data (a lot of video)
    Mail - doing a search in Mail does not do anything, no dropdown etc. I presume that this is using Spotlight and once that is indexed then a Mail search should work?
    Is there a way to migrate specific apps from my old MP? 
    I am wondering why such a big difference between the libraries on the 2 machines.

  • Can non-Phone features be used w/o signing-up with a wireless plan?

    Q1. Is signing-up for a wireless plan (with AT&T) a requirement for using non-Phone features such as Music, Video, Mail, Safari, Address Book, etc.?
    I am not interested in the Phone feature, but am very much interested in using all the other features and using a Wi-Fi connection for Internet. Will I be able to use these non-Phone features without registering with AT&T (and paying $60/mth)?
    Q2. Is USB 2.0 a minimum requirement, or can I sync with USB 1.1 (albeit at a very slow speed), since I have an old laptop that does not have USB 2.0?

    Yes, the device will not operate without an AT&T service plan. You will not be able to use the iPod, iCal, etc. features without a plan. Even if you never intend to use the voice or EDGE data features.
    From my direct experience, the device may or may not work with USB 1.1 ports. Of the 7 computers I've dealt with via a customer or in-person only 2 even recognized the iPhone and neither allowed a sync/activation.

    Yes I agree. But there must be some service provider who does the forwarding of messages provided it has the valid email addres and the IM Gateway information.
    The Gateway of different IM clients along with their port nos can be configured using a Factory and then checking the email address, the service provider can relay back the messages present for that user on that IM.

  • My iphone 4s shuts down automatically

    My new iphone 4s shuts down by itself.  Sometimes it starts up again and other times it just stays off.  Should I just take it back to the Apple store while it is still under warranty?

  • Problems with this Forum

    Just an FYI to the techs who run this custom forum software - be aware of the following bug. Here is how to reproduce it:
    1) IE 7 latest
    2) Come to the forums. Navigate yourself to the iPhone forum before logging in.
    3) Click to log in. System reroutes you back to forum home page.
    4) On right sidebar you will see "Logout", as you should, since you are logged in.
    5) Click on the iPhone link to go into that subforum again.
    6) Note on the right sidebar it now says "Log in". And there is no option to "Post a new topic".
    7) Go back to forum main page and note that you are in fact still logged in.
    8) Click on the iPhone link to go into that subforum again.
    9) Note it still says "Log in".
    This has happened countless times. Its caching the forum and not updating it after you log in, so even after being logged in, you cant post new topics. I had to navigate to several other forums then get back to the iPhone forum through other linking methods for it to "realize" that it needed to reload the iphone forums, and recognize me as logged in.
    Hope this helps the techs out there.

    In the iPhone category, there are 7 forums.

    5) Click on the iPhone link to go into that subforum again.
    6) Note on the right sidebar it now says "Log in". And there is no option to "Post a new topic".
    If you are in the iPhone category (and not one of the actual forums), There is no option to "Post a new topic" because you are not in a forum.
    It is kinda flaky though that it does show you are not logged in. Refresh the browset page (press Shift and press F5 or click teh refresh button) and it will show you as logged in.

  • Ultra NX Installs & Works Ok until PC is Powered Off & On Again

    I am running Win2k on a Dell Desktop with all ms patches, etc.
    I installed the webcam software from cd and when complete install was finished it asked for a restart. I did that. When the pc was up again I plugged in the webcam and windows did a signed (with no sig) software install.
    I restarted again since neither the cam detector program nor the monitor could detect the webcam even though its led was on. Then the camera worked fine. I sent video mail, checked out yahoo video messenger - all seemed ok. Until I shutdown and restarted the pc.
    When restarted from pc power off, the webcam was detected anew, like the drivers were gone. Device manager showed a yellow question mark next to the ultra nx device.
    I have now completely re-installed twice including the double restarts. Power down reboots still lose the drivers. What gives?

    I have the same problem. If I unplug and re-plug the camera, then the computer recognizes the cam again, but if I shut down, when I turn the PC on , the cam is not recognized.

    If you have problems with updating then easiest is to download the full version and uninstall the currently installed version.<br />
    You may need to remove the Firefox program folder to do a clean install of the new version.
    * Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
    * Firefox 4.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
    * Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
    * Do not remove personal data if you uninstall the current version.
    * It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
    Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder] and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

  • Fortunate iPhone

    I got my iPhone yesterday through FedEx after placing an order last friday and I was very shocked with my experience with it.
    For the week and a half I waited to get mine from the mail, I kept myself updated with possible problems and scenarios that everyone have been posting here and after playing with my phone for two days now, I am very shocked that my iPhone hasn't encountered any kind of problem. I was able to put almost all my songs, which was another shocker for me since I had originally thought I was only going to be able to fit a fraction of my music library but no I put in about 1200 songs, 8 Music Videos and 4 Movies and my entire iPhoto Library which probably contains about 6000 photos if not more, so I'm thinking...whoaa... and thats not all, I synced my music, photos, some videos, mail contacts and etc.. and I am still left with 2gb of space. So I dont really get it but hey I should not even complain.
    Sync has been very smooth and quiet fast. And its just amazing.
    No sound problems or anything. I actually put it to the test this morning and before I went to bed at about 2am, which makes it harder for me to hear an alarm later in the morning, I set it up for 7am and it was quiet loud and yes it did wake me up. And one thing I found out if no one else had discovered this... So I followed the advice I got from online with the headphones and I did my own headphone surgery to my Shure ones and um I didn't know you can use them to make calls! Shure doesn't have mics but it uses the microphone on your phone but you can hear the other person on the headphones and I love it since my Shure has noise canceling.
    So far then I think I got lucky! I hope apple will do an update software wise but other than that I love my iPhone

    I put in about 4,600 photos, And I have my 1200 songs in it and music videos and yes I just plugged it in again to see and I have 2.12gb left of space. I dont know how the **** thats supposed to be possible but I'm not even gonna complain lol. Right when I plugged it in when I got it yesterday it asked me if I wanted to "send in information that my iPhone had provided that might help future development"?? I didn't care about it so I just clicked yes away until I'm like...how did I fit about 15bg of stuff to 6? I dont know.
    Because I had made a playlist for the phone for about 600 songs then I looked at my phone after I synced and there was lots of space left so I said well why not try to put more...so I doubled it and it went through and I still had some space left.

    my windows apps(store,maps,sports,video,mail etc) are not opening(it will give an error message

    Would you mind show us the error screenshot here?
    If the error message is related with Windows Store cache, you may follow the suggestions to type wsreset.exe.
    And if it won't work, try to re-register the apps:
    Open CMD with admin rights, then copy and paste the command below:
    powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.xml
    Restart Windows Store and check the issue again.
