Video mode on camera app keeps disappearing

Hi,
I'm owner of iPhone 5c and unfortunately I have experienced some issues with my camera app on iOS 7.0.3.
Basically video mode keeps disappearing and the only way to get it back,is to restart the device.
Anyone else experienced such issues?
Please let me know if this is bug or hardware issue?!

What user troubleshooting have you tried? The user steps are restart, reset, restore from backup, and if needed restore as a new device. You have tried restart, since that is what you do when you turn the device on and off. A reset is done by holding the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. Restores are done via iTunes. If you have to do the reset more than once, then I would suspect a software issue and I would try the restore. If after a restore as new, the camera still malfunctions, then make an appointment at the Genius Bar at the Apple store to have the device looked at.

Try restarting your iPhone.
Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPhone. Now press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

My new iphone 4 does not have any sound when recording a video with the camera app. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I just got a new white iphone 4. When I try to take a video using the camera app, there is only a muffled sound. I never had this problem with my old iphone. I tried to restore it and that didn't help. I checked over all of the settings. Does anyone know how to fix this?? Thanks for any help you can offer!

There is a good possibility that your trimming of the SIM card could have damaged it some way. If the SIM was working in the old phone, then you cut it and the first new phone didn't work and now this phone doesn't work, it leads me to believe it has to do with the SIM card or the account. You are sure there is no problem with the account. Did you check with the provider when you got the iPhone 4 to make sure there was no problem with the account when you could not send or receive SMS? Why can't you just get a micro-sim? The iPhone should have come with one when you purchased it.The iPhone 4 is designed for a micro-sim. I don't believe this is a hardware problem unless the phone has been hacked or modified in some manner.

Camera App has disappeared

Just updated my iPhone 3G to version 3.0 and the Camera App has disappeared.
So far I`ve:
Checked all pages - not anywhere
Done a full restore - still not returned.
Check Restrictions - they were not on.
Allocated Camera to home button but still not working
Can anyone help PLEASE?

There appears to be a bug with this new update (3.0) - If you're using Exchange (sync) support with the new firmware, then the camera disappears. If you deactivate the Exchange email account ( temporarily) the camera magically appears.
Maybe Apple will call this a 'security feature'? < said as a joke > because many larger organizations shun using camera phones internally. In fact, many government/federal institutions do not allow you to bring camera phones into their offices...
Whatever the reason, it's a bug.. not sure if it's a completely 100% known one but the next small point update should alleviate that.
Try deactivating the exchange account and see if your camera icon shows up.. .Mine does..

Camera gone? Basic camera app has disappeared. How do I get it back?

My basic Camera app has disappeared. Did not think you could delete, did not do it intentionally. It was the camera that came with the phone. How do I get it back? I did load Instagram a week ago or so. Both apps were there now just the instagram app?

Are you sure you didn't accidentally drop it into a folder?
Try a hard reset:
Hold Sleep/Wake & Home buttoms until the screen goes black and you see the white Apple logo

Have you setup restrictions in your System Preferences?
Some setting combinaitions could, for example, allow you to install apps but nor run them (since you have an age limit set up)?

Apps keep disappearing

Recent had an iPhone (yesterday) and the apps keep disappearing. It worked fine at first then suddenly just stopped. When using spotlight the apps aren't foubdd but it says they are installed on the App Store

That purchased additional storage in your iCloud account. Call the Apple online store for a refund if you don't need it (1-800-MY-APPLE in the U.S. and Canada).
The app store says that particular app is 296MB, which is large, but if you have 15GB available you have more than enough. Make sure you are getting the available storage number from here:
If you are, try force closing the App store app by double-tapping the home button, locating the App store in the list, swiping up on the image above the icon to close it, then tapping the home button again. Then lauch the app store and try purchaing the app again.

When I record video on my camera app on my iPhone 5, it won't playback ?

I have recorded some short video's using the camera app on my camera app (video mode) but when it comes to playing it back, it just stays like a frozen picture and won't actually play what I have just recorded.. ??

I took some pictures in camera and then tried to go to video but it won't go. Anyone have an idea why not?

How are you trying to change to video mode ? You need to slide/drag the Video Photo Square options so that the Video option lines up with the yellow dot to their left - is that how you are trying to do it and it's not working ?

The video on the Camera app seems to turn off after a few min...I am trying to do a 20 min video. What am I doing wrong please?

The camera app has a video feature on it and I tried to do a 20 min video but it seems to turn off after a few minutes. I tried twice with the same results. There is no info under settings or anywhere on time restraints. Does anyone have any suggestions please?

I do not know if this is related to your problem, but there is a setting on the iPad called "Auto-Lock". Mine is set for 5 minutes. One of the options is Never. See Settings-General-Auto-Lock.

Please improve an HDR mode in camera app!

Hi i Bought this z1c becuase it supposed to be a "camera phone". I've been waiting for and update for poor HDR effect, but nothing came out.
Please could develope a sony app that take HDR pictures and would be great that it allow to change parameters in this mode.
I'm telling this because i feel really frustrated when try to get a awesome picture with auto or manual modes. To get HDR pictures i have to pay 3rds app to use the same camera's hardware.

Hi, i haven't got my Moto Xt919 here to compare. It's a cheap phone compare to the Z1c but with an exceptional HDR mode, the only problem was you have to get really freeze to avoid blurry photo
Theres is a bad wheater in my location right now to get a better example, but i take this one to compare:

Thank you for posting and welcome to the Forum.
I understand that you're having issues with the camera on your phone. Just to verify, your phone crashes each time that you're trying to launch the camera by pressing and holding the camera button as well as by using lenses, right? For us to isolate the issue, did something happen to the phone before this issue started? What are the troubleshooting steps that you've done so far? Have you tried to reboot your phone by removing and reinserting the battery? If that didn't help you can check if there's an available software update for your phone by going to Settings, Phone Update and then Check for Updates.
About the Nokia City Lens, you can try to check if there's an update for the application by going to the Store. If the application is still up to date, you can try to un-install and then re-install it.
