Video no longer plays from sites on comedy central. Site says browser must be updated, but I have installed all updates and restarted the computer..twice.

If it is any consolation this started happening to me today. I am in Toronto. I am wondering if there is a copyright issue here. I have done nothing to solve it - mostly because I suspect this has nothing to do with my computer.
p.s. My speculation about copyright is not correct. Comedy Central plays fine with Google Chrome. Have not yet tested Firefox.

I am not 100% sure this is the issue, but I saw a different thread about the ATI Radeon HD 2600 not being OpenCL compatible for another program and that a newer compatible graphics card would be required to solve the problem. I am getting the same message with my 2007 iMac 24".

IOS6 music player or video no longer plays from speakers

After upgrading my iphone 4s to iOS 6, I no longer have access to the volume bar when i want to listen to music or watch movies on my phones speakers, I've tried rebooting the phone several times and it comes back momentarely when the phone opens but dissapears soon after and becomes mute, any suggestions?

I think this points to our bug: Only in my Mac OS user profile and only in Safari there seems to be some Flash Player file which is either 'open' or 'locked' to deleting.

interesting...... you know i tried other media and it worked fine. i was trying to play 'amazon instant video'. when you say 'blocked ... by the providor' it seems to me that Amazon would have no interest in restricting the play. is it the producer of the content that resticts the play through some form of licensing or is it apple that restricts amazon play by limiting access to technology? either way its anti-competitive.

Ok... I just tried connecting my iPod directly to a USB port on the computer rather than via the USB hub I was using and everything is fine. Odd, but I'm happy now.

In last 45 days or so, Bloomberg video no longer plays.
This is the result of a system or Java update - I do not recall which. I've tried all the tips that Bloomberg has suggested to no avail... and they are no longer assisting me! Please help, friends. I've been a Macintosh user since 1986 (really!), please help, friends.

HT3209 My purchased iTunes videos no longer play on either of my Windows 7 computers. When I try to play any of them, it shuts down iTunes. Any ideas? I do have the latest itunes software loaded. jgh

Video no longer plays in the project

I looked all over for this same problem, but could not find another discussion on it. I have created several projects, (iMovie 09) the video and audio worked fine. I had to have pushed some button, but now the video no longer plays on any of my projects. The audio works fine. Tried rebooting, ran permissions..nothing. Please someone help.

I stumbled on the same problem as you. For me everything got messed up after trying to preview my project in fullscreen. Just got a blank black screen and now I can't ad titles or preview the clips! The most annoying thing is that I'm almost finished with the video I spent 4 hours on!
Anyone here now what the cause of this problem can be? Seems like many here have stumbled on it a few times
Edit: Just noticed my whole project seems to be done for! I can't even change the themes and when trying to change the settings of the clips it says "no clips selected" even when I can see they are in my project!? This is really frustrating.

Hi,
Try a clean installation of the flash plugin/activeX as follows.
First, download the Flash uninstall utility on the link below and save it to your Downloads folder.
Flash Player Uninstaller.
When the download has completed, close all browser windows, open your Download folder and run the uninstaller. After this has completed, restart the notebook.
When windows has reloaded, download and install the latest version of Adobe Flash. Note: You may want to deselect the option to include McAfee Security Scan Plus before downloading.
When the installation has completed, restart the notebook.
If the above doesn't correct the issue, then try the following.
First of all, download and run the Shockwave uninstaller on the link below.
http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/shockwave/uninstall/win/sw_uninstaller.exe
After this has completed, restart the notebook.
When windows has fully reloaded, download and install the latest version of Shockwave on the following link.
http://get.adobe.com/shockwave/
Again, after this installation, restart the notebook.

CWhat formats of videos can be played from the SDHC card on the Zen?' I realize that the SDHC card data is not integrated into the same functions as the data on the internal dri've. That's not my issue.
My issue is trying to find [color="#ff0000"]ANY videos that can be played [color="#ff0000"]AT ALL from the SDHC card.
I've been e-mailing with technical support for 2 weeks but it seems all I get is the run-around (and I different technician) with each e-mail reply.
First they tell me I have to get my videos from Amazon Unbox in order to play them. Then they tell me that, no, the Amazon ones don't play from the SDHC card.
Can anyone tell me what format or what source I can use to actually play videos from the SDHC card?

iTunes purchased video no longer plays on 3GS after upgrade to os 4. Specifically, curious George episodes used to make my 2 year old go off to his quiet place no longer play on my iPhone. on my cable provider website I often watch tv series. I was doing so as normal today and then had to leave the computer to go do something else. When I came back the computer had gone to sleep so I started back up and hit resume play and the video crashed after a few seconds. You did not say what programs you are using or how. Go to the web sites
of the '''true owners''' of the video programs and get the full installer.
