Video not included in web gallery

I imported a collection of photos and videos. The videos appear in the library, but not in the web module. Is there a way to include these videos in the exported web gallery? If Lightroom does not support this directly, are there any web tutorials that explain how to include them manually? I did a google search, which was unsuccessful, but perhaps I was using the wrong search terms.
Thanks

  • How to include Aperture web gallery in dreamweaver site

With the demise of mobile me I need to find a way to keep my personal website photo albums (web galleries) that I currently publish via Aperture web gallery and then use a hyperlink from my Dreamweaver web site. This means visitors can view the photo's from a link button but the actual images they see are Aperture Web Galleries. This method has worked for me for a while now.
I know you can save a complete web gallery from Aperture onto a local drive rather than upload to mobile me. Does anyone know a beginners (ie me) guide to include that Aperture web gallery directly into a Dreamweaver site?. It feels like it should be possible but can't find any help.
    thanks in advance.
    Peter B.

    Hello Peter,
What I do, to link my Aperture galleries to my iWeb pages, is to export the galleries from Aerture to my disk and then to upload them using ftp to a folder at my web hostings service. Then I link the iWeb pages to the gallery using link button or string. I use the free FTP program CyberDuck http://cyberduck.softonic.de/mac to copy the gallery using ftp. If your web hosting service allows ftp transfer, you could do the same. CyberDuck is really a smart little tool, but any program that allows ftp transfer would suffice.

  • Iphoto not uploading to Web Gallery - all photos "pending"

I added some more photos to my existing Web Gallery folders, plus created a new one by dragging them into the Web Gallery folders. However, they all appear as "pending" and are not appearing on the web. I've stopped / restarted Iphoto and my Macbook. I've tried removing and adding other photos to the galleries. I've moved the "com.apple.iPhoto.plist" and "com.apple.iPhoto" files to the desktop as suggested in another post. None of these have worked.

Yes, and the icons next to the web gallery names alternate between an arrow that goes round in circles, something that looks like a pie-chart / clock, and one that looks like a wireless transmission icon. Hope you know what I mean.
When I open the web gallery page nothing has changed. I even left it going overnight.

  • Published video to mobile me web gallery how do I view on iphone?

I made a video in imovie and published the video onto my mobile me web gallery. How do I view this video on my iPhone?

    Hey rmccv,
This article will walk you through the process.
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=iMovie/7.0/en/14132.html
Basically, you'll publish the video and then visit your web gallery. You can click the visit gallery button after publishing or go to http://gallery.me.com/<your username here>

  • IWeb not showing .Mac web gallery albums in Web Widgets pull down menu

I'm trying to update a webpage and insert a .Mac Web gallery album using the Web Widgets pull down menu. The problem is the menu isn't offering/showing ALL of my .Mac Web Gallery albums. It shows some and I can insert those, however, it isn't showing all of them. I've tried refreshing the list in iPhoto, but it still won't show in iWeb '08. I've even given it several days to refresh, but to no avail.
    Any suggestions?

Nice, didn't think of that. I went into iPhoto and, in the Settings, changed it from being only viewable to restricted groups. I opened it up to "Everyone" and, back in iWeb, there it appeared in the Web Widget pull down menu. I then inserted the album and published the web page. I then went back to iPhoto re-instated the restrictions in the Advanced settings.
    Thanks.

  • IWeb not seeing .Mac Web gallery photo albums

I uploaded a photo album created in iPhoto to .Mac Web Gallery. The photo album is accessible on the web.
When I go into iWeb to put a link to it, I've gone to Insert>.Mac Web Gallery, which is what the instructions say you are supposed to do. However, it says "No albums or movies available."
I saw Jason's post about a similar issue, but he said his problem was only related to creating an album with Aperture. My album was created with iPhoto, though, and it should work.
Can someone help me resolve this issue? How can I make an album in Web Gallery available to my iWeb website?

Having the same issue as use, and I'm publishing my Web Galleries with iPhoto, so no Aperture connection here. I was able to drag the web gallery from the Media window into a picture page, which populated the page with images, but it doesn't act like a Web Gallery connection, because images uploaded to the Web Gallery don't show up in the iWeb version of the picture pages.
    Hopefully there's a solution soon.

  • FaceTime video not active during web browsing

    Hello,
My friend and I are both using MBP (2011) w/ OS Lion, yet when I start to use Safari, my video pauses and is not in the active screen (I have to go back to the desktop screen to see him and my video feed being un-paused). However, when he uses safari, his video is not paused and is active while using safari (he can surf and vid chat at the same time). I can't see what seetings, if any is causing this to occur. Any thoughts?
    Tx

I think this is by design.  I think it occus when Safari is in full screen in Lion.  Perhaps your friend isn't in full screen mode.

  • Photoshop Web Gallery - how to include home page link

I have included a web gallery (created in Photoshop) to my website. Everything works fine; however, after scrolling through the photos there isn't a link to help return to the site's home page. The only option is to click the back arrow many times until you get there. Any ideas how to do this?
    Thank you.

    Kat,
Your IE7 settings may be the same as mine, for which I generally keep the Pop-Up Settings fitering level to "High", thus blocking all pop-ups. At this level, I find all of Geoff's links for his Aerial Photos (but curiously not those on other pages) and text links on the Links page are treated as pop-ups. At the Medium level that automatically blocks "most" pop-ups, all links open to a new window for me. IE7 treats all links creating new windows or tabs as pop-ups, and you can control how they behave by changing the Tabbed Browser Settings options for "When a pop-up is encountered". Here's how to get there:
IE7 Tools Menu (or Control Panel) > Internet Options > General tab page > Click "Settings" in the Tabs category and then check the option desired in the resulting dialog.

  • Displaying note in Web Gallery?

Is there a way to display the notes I've entered for photos in my Web Gallery? It appears the only option is to display the titles of photos. I know the user can flip over the photo in WG to see the note, but I would like them to appear below the photos as captions.
If this is not possible with Web Gallery, is there an alternative services (like Flickr) that could do this?
    Thanks

    Yi:
There's an AppleScript that will copy the Descriptions into the Title field of photos in iPhoto. That way you can get the descriptions into the web gallery. You can get the script here: http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20070822121100394&query=applescript %2Btitle.
Be sure to read the comments about deleting the Å character from the script. It's a error introduced in the posting of the script. It works quite well.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.≤br>
Note: There now an Automator backup application for iPhoto 5 that will work with Tiger or Leopard.

  • Project librarys not included in WAR file with deployment (WEB-INF/lib)

    Using JDeveloper 9.0.5.2
Project Libraries are not included in WEB-INF/lib when deploying. Although the files are selected in the deployment file at 'Contributors'. Within the 'filter' the .jar files are missing.
To solve it i have to register again (i have already made the librarys project library's) the files within Tools->ManageLibrarys as user library's.
The other workaround is to make the library's System Library's within the project.
In my opinion it is a bug that you must include the project librarys as user librarys within the 'LibraryManager'

Unfortunately no, the issue with output folder being ignored occurs only with example apps bundled with Workshop product.
You can try the following workaround:
    - In Workshop, Project > Properties - Java Build Path, switch to Source tab - "Remove the source folder listing" - Click OK and dismiss Properties window.
    - Project > Properties - Java Build Path > Source Tab, add the same source folder entry - Click OK
    - Export as WAR
With this you should see the class files bundled under output directory structure (Ex: WEB-INF/classes).

  • Better to post photos and video to web gallery than to add to the page?

    Hi there
Is it better to post video and photos to web gallery than it is to put directly on the web page? If so, how do you make the link on the web to the gallery?
    Thanks
    Carl

If you publish your web gallery from iPhoto and link it to your site you have a number of options.
Select your album and from the Share drop down menu select "Web Gallery".
A popup gives you the following options:
    Allow:
    Album viewable by everyone.
Allow Downloading of photos or entire album.
    Adding of photos by email.
    Show:
    Photo titles.
    Email address for uploading.

  • Movies in Web Gallery

iPhoto or .Mac for web gallery questions? I'll try here:
Running iPhoto 7.01 and uploaded a web gallery of my niece's wedding. My camera takes QT movies as well and allows you to select movies and even sends a thumbnail with a movie icon on it. But when try and play them you get an generic 'QuickTime is unable to play this movie. Please try again.' and the Gallery entry in iphoto has one of the triangle '!' signs after it as if it ran into problems.
    So is it:
a bug in delivery and Gallery doesn't really support QT movies (and should warn you if some are selected or just ignore them)
it only supports certain types of QT movies (though I don't think they got sent)
Or some other problem? No mention of movies that are supported by iPhoto in the database in any Gallery help or notice I can find.

Why is this thread marked as 'Answered?' Is the 'solution' that, while iPhoto 'seems' to be able to upload videos it lists and plays to Web Gallery, videos don't play.
Is that the answer? Has anyone been able to have videos uploaded to a web gallery via iPhoto actually run in a Web Gallery. If so, which format was it in?
    (ANSWER/Workaround below.)
For me, My camera's MPEG1 Muxed, 640 x 480 pixels movies are copied to and list fine in iPhoto and are listed with an icon in a Web Gallery, but throws up an error message.
Movies exported to finder by iMovie 08 (.m4v, mpeg4 using H.264) is not even accepted as a valid format by iPhoto, so I can't say if it will run in the Web Gallery. Likewise, exporting a movie to the Media Browser does little, as iPhoto can't access the Media Browser. (Is that true? Am I missing something?)
Video encoded as MPEG4 Decompressor (libavcodec), 640 x 480, Millions AAC, Stereo (L R), 44.100 kHz (.mp4) is accepted as a valid format and is uploaded to the Web Gallery. It is also played in Web Gallery.
So, Non-H.264 compressed mpeg4 movie clips will play in Web Gallery.

  • Web Gallery in CS4

I note that the useful Web Gallery for is no longer in CS4. I think that for the Photographer's community Adobe Lr has taken a good portion of their attention and includes the Web Gallery function on it. But Customize the Web Gallery in Lr adding html code has been impossible due binary code. I created some very cool applications like shopping carts with e-commerce capabilities at http://kendallportraits.com for my Photography Studio in Miami using the Web Gallery Templates in CS3 and I really don't want to loose it in CS4.

then install the old web gallery http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4048

  • Web gallery image setting control

Develop settings persist in slideshow, but web galleries seem to have had the settings changed considerably. Has anyone else seen the not-at-all-subtly increased brightness (gamma change?) on web gallery exported images? Is there a way to configure LR to not do this, or to set export preferences other than size and compression quality? Workarounds, if not? Other gallery software recommended (LR exports work fine for me, just not through the web gallery)?
My experience is on an Intel Duo iMac 10.4.10. (And staying there until Adobe releases LR for 10.5.)
I have searched the forum for previous discussions on the topic. I did not find anything relevant. Apologies if I missed something.
    Thanks for any wisdom!

Sorry to bother you, but I was wondering if you got an answer to this question. I am desperately trying to figure out how to post my pictures in their ORIGINAL SIZE to my web gallery.
    Thanks!
