Video parpadeante con el Photoshop CS4 en MAC

Estoy usando la versión de 30 días del Photoshop CS4 y he notado algo muy raro comparandolo con la versión CS3. Resulta que en la versión CS4, tratando unas imágenes al pasarla de RGB a CMYK hay un leve parpadeo en la ventana de la imagen en el momento de pasarlo de un modo a otro. Hice la misma operación con el Photoshop CS3, de pasar de RGB a CMYK, y no hay ese parpadeo en la ventana de la imagen al pasar de un modo a otro. Por un momento había pensado que es mi tarjeta de video o la memoria RAM, pero si fuese así en al hacerlo en el CS3 se vería también ese parpadeo. En todo caso mi ordenador es un MacBook Pro, procesador: Intel Core 2 Duo (Penryn) a 2,5 GHZ, disco duro 250 GB, Video: NVIDIA a 512 MB, Memoria RAM: 4 GB DDR2.
Viendo mi ordenador no creo que sea por memoria.
Si a alguien le ha pasado, por favor comentarlo.

Thanks Chris, That was my first thought too but this same plug-in works on another installation of CS4. This is a Mac installation and the plug-in is Universal so it should work. Is there any other possible cause for this error? Would Photoshop refuse to load a plug-in in a low memory situation?
Also, The Flash extensions:Connections and Kuler are working OK, I just copied a little more out of the System Info report than I needed to.

Install Adobe Photoshop CS4 on Mac

I have been trying to install Adobe Photoshop CS4 onto my MacBook Pro (2009 version) and it doesn't automatically popup to install. So i transferred the files to my "Application" on my mac. When i try to click on "Setup" an unreadable script appears. What do I do?? How can i get this to download??

This indicates that you have a Windows version of the software. This is why you are not able to install on your Macintosh. Since Creative Suite 6 is the current version of the software you can either upgrade to Creative Suite 6, and choose the Mac platform, or possibly subscribe to the Creative Cloud which is multi-platform. Photoshop CS4 on Mac OS X Yosemite keeps crashing when saving as PSD

Please help!! I have a major project due involving hundreds of photos that require editing, and I cannot save an edited photo using CS4 as a PSD file - just crashes, closes and pops up a crash report. I am desperate! I have a new Macbook Pro and am using OS X Yosemite 10.10. I can save a simple jpeg with no editing, but my edits require masks and layers and so have to save as PSD. I really dont know what troubleshooting to do. I have plenty of storage - about 85GB free. Please help!!

Photoshop CS4 and Mac OS10.7 Lion

Photoshop CS4 is not working with Lion. How can I fix?

Details are needed:
First of all, what kind of Mac? If it's one of the Macs with the infamous Intel integrated graphics (iMac, Mac Book, Mac Mini), we need not inquire further. The number of bugs introduced by Lion in these machines is too numerous to go into.
Otherwise, it would be useful to know whether CS4 is updated to version 11.0.2, Lion to 10.7/2, whether you Repaired Permissions with Apple's Disk Utility before and after every install, upgrade or update of the application and the OS, as well *** what other troubleshooting steps you have taken so far.

PS— Beyond that, you may want to consider upgrading while you can, as CS4 will be out of the upgrade loop the moment CS6 is announced, and that should/could be in a matte of weeks. The new Adobe upgrade policy will be one version back only as of CS6.

Looking at buying a new mac book air to replace my ageing iMac. Will my Photoshop CS4 still work on it? And as it has no disc drive, how can I get it installed?

Cant find Adobe TV videos on 3D in Photoshop CS4

Im trying to find all the videos I can about Photoshop's 3D capabilities.
I have attempted to search Adobe TV's videos on the Adobe TV site.
All attempts fail miserably.
The search function on Adobe TV is useless. Simply doesnt work.
Adobe TV seems to be working much worse than it was a few months ago. What happened?

How do I actually get at the videos that I know are out there?

I started to get the message "Could not complete your request because of a program error" a little while back, but it would go away after restarting photoshop, so I wasn't too worried about it. But now I've encountered this one file that won't let me do anything to it. As soon as I open it it pops up with the error message. No amount of clicking makes it go away, and I have to force quit photoshop. Always the same thing. I read up a little about how to fix it but I haven't found anything that works (I tried the file info>copyright idea and deleting Photoshop's preferences, even getting rid of extra fonts, and clearing the library>cache.) Any ideas? I'm not sure what to do!
More info:
It's a psd file.
There are only 2 layers on the files, one is a vector smart image.
I opened the file and was able to edit it fine on a friend's computer, no error messages whatsoever - so it's not a corrupt file. (But that doesn't solve my computer's dilemma.)

I have this same problem. I use Font Agent Pro and I only have about 50-ish foundry fonts activated. I'm wondering if anyone else has found a fix? The second I open Photoshop I get an error message and I have to force quit, let's not even begin thinking about opening a file.
I'm on OSX 10.6.8, running CS4. This is getting frustrating. I'm considering reinstalling the whole suite, there goes my entire evening.

How to install english language adobe Photoshop CS4 for Mac OSX 10.7.5 ?

I am in Germany and need to switch Photoshop to English.
The option is not available in the language preferences (attached screenshot)
I could only find an update for Mac OSX 10.4, but not 10.7?

Languages are serial number specific. You cannot change them on the fly. If your serial number supports it, you would have to install it in English. anything beyond that is a hack like stripping the localization files from the app package...

Photoshop CS4 SDK & Mac OS X 10.5 SDK

I have existing Photoshop UB Plug-ins built under OS X 10.4 and the OS X 10.4 SDK, Xcode 2.1.x & Photoshop CS3 SDK. I am attempting to use the new CS4 SDK under OS X 10.5 SDK.
They do not build as there is a conflict in PITypes.h with the attempted redefinition of uint32, already defined in the Apple header cssmconfig.h.
I have seen some threads on this issue but no answers - Does anyone have the solution to this issue?

Comment out the redefinition in the SDK, or try 10.4u Framework as suggested by other posters.

How do I update camera raw plugin on photoshop cs4 for mac?

I've just reinstalled PS cs4 on a new macbook pro - my camera raw files from a canon 5d mark 2 are not being recognized...
I found out that I need to update the camera raw plugin to version 5.2. I downloaded the plug in and the computer said it successfully installed the plug in
but the camera raw files still aren't readable.... Any ideas?

Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter : For Macintosh : Camera Raw 5.7 update
The profiles are installed by double clicking on the downloaded Camera_Raw_5.7 dmg and double clicking on the cameraprofiles.mpkg
Install the camera raw.plugin by going to (Macintosh hard drive)/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Plug-Ins/CS4/File Formats and dragging the existing camera raw plugin to the Trash.
Then drag the new camera raw plugin from the dmg to the same folder.

Maximize work area in Photoshop CS4 for Mac

I just re-installed eveything due to the Snow Leopard incedent.
Before, I used to be able to open a psd file or any file for that matter with photoshop and the entire screen was used. Now it opens to the size of the file I am opening. Is there a way to set it to defualt when I open a new file that it is in full screen mode?

Foregive the incorrect shot, the tools menu is gone due to using the screen capture feature in my Dashboard. But i would like to open the file and have it fill my monitor instead of just the size of the file. I can set it to open full screen but I have to do it manually. I would like this to be default.
If anyone has an idea of what i'm trying to doi, please let me know!

One last thing . . .
I am using two monitors. My secondary monitor has all my tools as far as layer panels, colors, swatches etc...
The main monitor has just the "artwork" area and main tools for the application.
Ok, I think I know what I want it to do. I would like the file to open to "Full Screen Mode with Menu Bar". Also, when I open another file, have them tabbed at the top.

Photoshop CS4 and Mac OS 10.6

I installed the new Mac OS 10.6 and could not use the healing brush and clone stamp. Is there going to be a fix for it? I went back to 10.5.8 because of the problems. When will it be released?

Stay with 10.5.8 until you hear that everything has been fixed. It took Apple 6 updates to make 10.5 useable. If you must play with the new system, clone your drive to a second partition or hard drive and update that to Snow Leopard. now you can boot either system and see for yourself when the fixes come in while keeping a system you can work in.
