how do you play more than 1 music video at a time on an ipad mini. My phone does it in the play list but the mini only plays the music not the video?

On the iPad, you play music videos in the Videos App - if you want to see the video itself. As you have found out you can only hear the music part in the Music App.
As far as I know, you cannot create video playlists in the videos app. There are third party apps (two below) and workarounds that you can Google for.

Does anybody knows how to add a video play list in palm pre?
I did try to add video in different folders but in the palm device are loaded in the same playlist. Is there a way to organize video files?

Video play list gone due to OS6

I had three different functional video play lists on my iTouch prior to upgrading to Apple OS6. They all worked through the Music App where one can select the list to play. Since the upgrade to OS6 my video play lists are gone. This is definitely a defect that apple needs to address or allow users to go back to older version of OS.

I got the same issue. The videos are now unorganized and difficult to find the one I want to play. Agree with Urandhawa, hope it can be fixed in the next OS release.

Feature Request it would be really nice if Apple made a Video Play List feature just like photo albums on iPads.

Video Play list help

Hi there, I haven't made any Video Playlists yet, but when I go to that section of my video iPod, I see three play lists there, and these are smartlists that I made for my mp3's and do not represent all the smart playlists either. The music playlist section has all of my playlists so nok worry there. But why are these three playlists of mp3's showing up in my video playlist on my iPod. If it makes any difference, the three playlists are smart lists I created based on my rating. ... 3 Star Rating, 4 Star Rating, 5 Star Rating.

Are there any videos in these playlists at all? Just one video will make it appear there.

IPod 60 Gig 5th Generation - Video Play List Doesn't Work

Hi People,
I have a 60 Gig iPod Video that won't play my Video Playlists anymore. It acts like it wants to play but the next screen after I hit the play button looks like it is a song play list with the time bar with 0:00 at the left end and a -0:00 at the right end plus it has a 0 of 0 at the top left hand side.
This started when I upgraded iTunes to the new 7.02 version.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

I have the same issue on my brand new Nano 5th Generation. I still have my I-Pod Classic and it works fine with that. I would love to have a solution for this so I can use my Bluetooth headphones with my new Nano.

Video Play List Problem

When I try and play my video playlists, they dont play, what does show up however is the title of the last song played, itll say track 1 of 0 and the time as 0:00 of 0:00 and it doesnt play anything. I tried restoring it, and it worked, but its back to doing it again. I'm in the process of restoring it again, seeing how long it takes this time. Ive only owned the ipod since wedsday, less than a week. if i took it to the store would they exchange it or make me send it off?

Very strange. Did it put the trailer under podcasts or under Video. So when I was trying to view it before it would only show under more-podcasts. Then after I converted it it was under videos- podcasts at the bottom of the group.

No, you don't have to reinstall iTunes.
Make a smart playlist where kind = protected, it will be close enough.

Play list for movies

Hello I noticed on my 80g ipod under videos it has video play lists so dose that mean that i can tranfer my movies to that play list if so how do i do it thanks jordan

Create a playlist in iTunes, name it Movie Playlist (or whatever you choose), drag your movies into the folder and then sync to the iPod. You could also use Smart Playlists to create a movie playlist based on certain parameters of your choice.

I have a 5th gen ipod and recently all of my video podcasts stopped showing up in my ipod. They still show up and play in itunes, just not in my video podcast list on my ipod. All of the podcasts are Quicktime Large.

How to display videos in Play Lists on iOS 6

Under iOS 5 I was able to create play lists in iTunes and put batches of videos of the same type into separate play lists. I then opened 'Music' on the iPhone and selected the playlist I wanted.
Under iOS 6, Music no longer allows those videos to appear - they now appear only in 'Videos' but Videos doesn't appear to support play lists.
Is it possible to store videos on the iPhone in different playlists any more or has the feature just been removed?

Just started having issues when I use youtube. According to what I am hearing about this It seems like I now will have to switch to Chrome or IE in order to be able to interact on youtube ? Is that true? When I try to save a video to a play list I created, I get a red warning pop bar up that says "Invalid Request" and it will not let me do it anymore. Also, I can no longer post a comment on video's that I view either. Do you know what is causing this and is there a fix, without having to switch to Google Chrome of IE?

According to some forum posts, this is a side effect of one or more downloaders, such as Download Helper. You either can disable that add-on while this is worked out (assuming no update has yet been issued) or try modifying one of its preferences in the about:config preference editor.

On the preference change, here are the steps. Note: I haven't tried this myself.
(1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the filter box, type or paste '''dwh''' and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click '''dwhelper''.''yt-visitor-cookie''' and edit the value from remove to keep. Reload the YouTube page and try saving the video to your playlist again.

Playing music, then switch to video and then going back to play list.

When I got my new touch I could be playing music, then switch to video, play videos, then go back to music and would be right where I left off on the song I was listening to it. Now when I switch to video and go back to music I have restart my playlist I was listening to. This totally blows, I hated it with my 5G video and now with the 2.1 update on my touch it does this again. Why in the world would this function be changed. I am pretty ticked

I had the same trouble w/ my iPod Touch 16GIG Gen 1 & it seemed to be worse after upgrading the software/firmware to Version 2.1; to the point where I was arranging to get it back to The Apple Store before it was 30 days old. The trouble seems to be worse as I approached 14GIG's of filled memory. I mostly have audio, but a few movies are loaded also. But I couldn't view the album art from end to end & it would also freeze & go back to the home screen after about 5 seconds of audio from an audio track intermittently. It was frustrating.
I used the HOME button on the top of the iPod to shut it down {holding it till the 'slide to power off' screen comes up & then doing the slide. Then using the HOME button to turn the iPod back on - seeing the cracked white apple when it reboots & starts back up. I haven't had any more trouble in iTunes. Maybe this reboot cleans up the memory of the iPod & a fresh reboot gives the OS a clean bill of health to look at the 14 GIGs of content that I've added in.
Give the Home button a try & let us know.

I've downloaded a TV show for my ipod classic, it shows up on my PC ipod librargy but it does not show up on my Ipod play list

I've recently downloaded a 3 TV shows from the Itunes store onto my Ipod classic. It shows up on my PC Itunes playlist, andI can play it on my pc but will not show up on my Ipod play list. I've searched all of the directories and can't see it there.
I have plenty of space on the drive so that's not the issue.

I think the issue may be that these TV shows are in HD. Would that keep them from playing?
Yes. Sounds like you are trying to sync the HD version of the TV Episode. You should try to download the Standard Definition copy instead and sync that to your device as HD content is not compatible with the Nano. See here for more information:

To prevent HD versions from being downloaded in the future head to the iTunes Store, click the Purchased link, and then select TV Shows and remove the tick mark next to Download HD when available. You should be able to download the SD version now from under this same page.
