sorry, newbie not quite sure if my terminology is correct. I will try to explain the best I can. I am using creative mediasource as (came with my audigy 2zs), are there any downloads or updates that play random videos when your music is on (like with win amp, sonique, ect.) i have searched but i can not find anything.
any input would greatly be appreciated.

If you're talking about visualizations: i do hope not.
Visualizations = not professional... It's more beautycase woman talking(like you got a power pc only for 3D screensavers).

But (CREATIVE READ THIS **bleep** IT)Isn't it more important to give SourceMediaPlayer2 support for:
-Ogg-Vorbis
-Flac
-Aac
-Webstream (play pls(playlist)files direct from web (shoutcast.com for example), and not first download it...
Then i can remove foobar2000/vlc again. and use MediaSourcePlayer as main player.
you can always install your own software , do install winamp(you'll probably prefer visualization with 6bit sound above crystalclear 24bit).

I did go to the website and downloaded the adobe-flash. I also read the "read me" but I'm not sure I understood exactly what to do. I removed the old flash-player in the Library/Internet Plug-ins folder and just put it on my desktop; not sure what really to do with it. Instructions said to back it up, but I don't know how to do that. Should I have trashed it??? Then I closed the browser (Firefox); reopened it and went back to the site to see if has been installed correctly (I guess no); couldn't see the video and tested it again at uTube.
When attempting to play a uTube video, it asked me what "player". Looked in the Apps folder to see what I had: Quicktime, Real Time, and Windows Media Player. None worked. I'm still at a loss. I'm not a savvy tech person, so I might need more instruction if you're willing to help Texas Mac Man (I'm in TX, too).
One more thing, to put in the new plug-in, I just did a drag and drop into the folder.
What have I missed? I appreciate your help very much. This is my first time on the Support Communities.

For iMovie'08 to 11 - There are no Plug-ins - not supported at all
iMovie HD (in reality HD5) - doesn't work under Mac OS X.7 - at all
iMovie HD6 - can take Plug-ins and run under Mac OS X.7 - BUT some of the Plug-ins doesn't work under X.7
old list on - Plug-ins - Only relevant to iMovie HD6 (May be they are too old)

Our company have a software called Moyea Importer for Adobe Premiere.
Moyea Importer for Adobe Premiere is a recommended FLV, MPG, RMVB, HD video import plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro. This plug-in enables users to import FLV videos with various codec like AVC/H.264, AAC, Screen Video, Nellymoser, MP3, PCM, and Sorenson H.263. Besides FLV video, the plug-in allows AVCHD import and HD video import in MTS, M2TS, TP, TS, and MKV formats.
Moyea Importer for Adobe Premiere do not convert your video so it keeps video quality for you. The plug-in automatically detects the Adobe Premiere versions on your machine and you can choose the versions to install the plug-in. It currently supports Adobe Premiere Pro 1.0/1.5/2.0/CS3/CS4 and Elements 3.0/4.0/7.0/8.0.
I notice in Third-party plug-ins for Adobe Premiere Pro this part, Adobe didn't get any such plug-ins. They only have two file support plug-ins and Moyea Importer can fill the blank.
Now I want to submit this software on Adobe's site but I don't know where to submit or who I should to contact. Any suggestions? I really need your help and I am sure it is really good software.

First off - yay.
In the little amount of time I have had to test, the first thing I notice is that the video out to my ext. monitor seems to lag by a few frames from the program monitor in Pr. AJA support is great in their help, but I'm wondering before I bother them, is anyone else seeing this - is there a setting to be tweaked?
Also, the video out is looking a touch soft to me - I have a Flanders Scientific Grade 1 monitor, so it is not the hardware. I may need to test this a bit more with other footage, but it was my first impression. Wonder if the settings here need to be tweaked as well.
I had visions that Transmit would output the hoverscrub, but it looks like you have to click on the clip and play back before it is displayed exernally. But, on second thought, I don't know how that would be utilized, since the video out would have to suddenly switch every time you hover your mouse over the clips in the bins.
Having said all that, I am thrilled to finally have this driver!

easy enough to create your own film leader style countdown with a few back to back text generators separated by clock wipe transitions
color bars can already found in your fcp video generators bin
color bars and a film leader style countdown can also be auto generated during output (print to video and edit to tape)
distort faces and license plate like they do on tv? ... ok i give up, what do you mean? if you mean you want to disguise them (Mosaic, Blur etc) then you can have a bash with my Region Blur plugin

Is there a source for Plug-Ins for FCE4? Specifically I am looking for a round countdown timer, the name of which I have no idea. It's in a circle, typically counts down from 10.

I am jumping in this thread and as I tried to download a video from you tube( which i have never done)I followed the procedure # 2 on the site (http://www.mac-dvd.com/mac-guide/how-to-download-youtube-video-on-mac-for-free.h tml) given by Ian and everything went well till step 4 where you are supposed to have a pop-up window where you should find "get_video". At that point, when I double click I have the you tube window which comes back and I cannot find anywhere this" get_video".
Is someone able to help me on that?

Plug ins for FCE 4

Hi everyone
Theres a few issues with quality in imovie. And i understand that FCE is better for creating dvds. I have FCE4 which I use for more detailed editing ( surf films ) but I also have a video booth business ( interactive wedding guestbook ) and the themes and transitions in imovie are perfect for this.
I was told yesterday that I can get plug ins for FCE4 which could give me themes and titles and stuff ( looking for wedding themes really) or some funky themed transitions like in imovie. Think they said it was magic bullet. Does anyone know if this is possible.
Also is there away to drag in multiple transitions in FCE4 ( preferably different transitions ) rather than put them in individually ?

As for applying multiple transitions at one time, first set the transition you want to use as the default transition. Next, set the Timeline playhead where you want the first transition to go. Select all of the clips to the right of the Timeline playhead to which you want to apply the same transition. Drag the selected clips from the Timeline to the right-hand side of the Canvas window. A hidden menu will appear as you get near the right side. Drop the selected clips on the "Overwrite w/Transition" box.

To add to Mylenium's reply, here's how to do it on Windows and this is what microsoft website says:
Why do I have to be an administrator to install a program?
Only administrators can make changes that will affect everyone who uses the computer, such as installing software and hardware and changing security settings.
If the program you are trying to install or run says you must have administrator rights, but you are already an administrator on the computer, right-click the installation icon for the program, and then click Run as administrator. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
If the program installs but does not run, right-click the program icon, click Properties, click the Compatibility tab, select the Run this program as an administrator check box, and then try to run the program.

Wow that was really quick, thank you so much. Im not sure at all which version it was because i said it was around 4 years ago he bought it. I know it isn't under his username, since he's a PC person (ugh) so i know its probably registered to one of our actual names. isn't there some way to look it up since we did register it, because I'm not even sure where the disks are from when we bought it (we've moved a lot and also have two storage lockers, i know i would have kept it with other disks) but my cd rom drive is actually broken on my computer as well ( i think it got stepped on and is now squished and won't eject or run disks.)
So is there anyway they can look up that its registered to one of our names since we did register it when we bought and installed it, or do i really have to find the disk with some sort of proof of purchase (i know there would be no receipt after all this time)
either way, ill do what you suggested to the best of my abilities and thank you so much for answering my questions, i can't even open the program as its incompatible and find out the info from that) so I'm in a bit of a pickle and your response was so thorough and it didn't seem to be posted long enough to even write a well researched response, thanks, all the best,

That's a good point, and I should have taken the time to point that out.
It's not particularly important that Nokia has chosen to offer free plug-ins for a limited number of their mobile handsets not presently supported by iSync. The really important thing here is that a manufacturer has actually chosen to support the technology at all!
I do support a vibrant developer community, and think that Nova Media and others who have taken the time to create plug-ins and, who continue to support them, deserve to be compensated for their efforts. It worth noting that Nova Media was out front with support for Nokia mobile handsets about a year before Nokia itself chose to offer support. And, as Jan points out, they continue to support units that Nokia itself does not.
