Video-podcast removed by iTunes; re-submission gets NO RESPONSE!

I get an alert from [email protected] back in Oct '08:
"Your podcast has been removed from the iTunes Store because no new episodes have been added in the past several months.
If you feel that the material in the podcast remains relevant to iTunes users, please feel free to resubmit the podcast here:"
So, I re-submitted the feed (I'm using Feedburner) last Oct, & didn't get a email response from Apple ("we are considering your submission"). I just got around to trying again & I'm getting "It appears the feed has already been submitted".
How do I get in touch with Apple to get this "bottleneck" solved?

I actually setup another feed (therefore, using a different feed address). I got the same "It appears the feed has already been submitted". ?? I don't get this at all..

Try making a small change to the title (you can always change it back afterwards) and see whether you can submit it with that.

Kappy's suggestion doesn't work for me either. Just go into the iPod App, click on Podcasts, and swipe to the right. You should get a "Delete" block on the right. That's how it works on my iPad.

Can't synch video files, video podcasts or convert iTunes video to iPod vid

I don't know what has changed recently - I don't recall a new version of iTunes being installed but I am on iTunes 9.1.0.79 under WindowsXP.
I am no longer able to synch video podcasts which have been downloaded via Juice and video from iTunes-subscribed podcasts which were both in the right format and synching happily before whatever it was that changed, changed.
In addition, I cannot right-click and convert video to iPod format - that option isn't there. It has either gone (boo) or the video IS in iPod format in which case why isn't it synchcronising?
I've spent many hours now trying to work out what's changed, gone wrong, what kind of settings need to be changed to get back to where I was.

I'm having the same issues! I used to be able to convert video, but that option is no lnoger there. My video is in a Quicktime format(which I thought was supposed to be compatible with itunes anyway) and it won't play.
And since when aren't you allowed to email customer support?? They want me to pay a min of $29 to have an analyst call me at my convenience? Bunch of greedy bastards!

How do I sync my iPod without grabbing the Video Podcasts from my iTunes?

I have searched and could not find the answer to this problem.
Anyway, I have a 5th gen iPod and am running it on a Mac with the latest iTunes. On the iPod options pane, I have selected to update only the selected Podcasts. I am leaving the podcasts that I do not want on my iPod (but want to keep on my Mac) unselected.
Now although it is true that the unselcted Podcasts to not appear in the Podcast section of my iPod, the files are still there and can be found by artist, album, etc.
How can I get around this? Basically, I have a few gigs of Video Podcasts that I do not want to carry on the iPod but do want o keep on my Mac in iTunes.
Any help would be appreciated.

Try going into iTunes preferences and click on the iPod icon (pod has to be linked up) and choose to "manually" update iPod. Will this help?

Podcast Removed from iTunes

My podcast has been removed from iTunes, and I don't know why.
If you were to do a Google search, you can easily find it, and the following link is provided:
itunes.apple.com/ie/podcast/arc-light-stories/id404452832. However, if you open that link in iTunes you are told that the podcast no longer exists.
Is it permanently gone even though Google can still find this link?
The feed for the podcast is arclightstories.com/podcast/feed.xml, and it has been working fine.
I've been using Podcast Generator to create the feed and send it to iTunes.
Is there any way to restore it to the store without losing my subscribers?
Any help anyone can offer would be appreciated.

Your podcast does appear to have been removed from the Store, There's no real way of knowing why - it might even be an error - a quick look at the feed suggests that it's unlikely that it's a matter of unacceptable content or copyright violation.
You could try emailing Support at podcasts 'at' apple.com but you likely won't get a helpful answer, in which case you will have to re-submit it as a new podcast. You will need to change the title slightly or you will be told it has already been submitted, and it's a good idea to keep the feed filename.
Your subscribers can still see your feed - the Store is not involved once they have subscribed - and you can move them to another feed by following the instructions here:

Podcasts sync to iTunes, but then get removed after a period of Time??

I was wondering if you could help me out with this
I have 43 episodes up on podbean but I can only download my previous 20 episodes on iTunes?
I would like all of my episodes to stay on iTunes all time like I see with other podcasts.

Many podcast creation programs or services limit the number of episodes shown in the feed, removing older ones once the limit is reached and new episodes are added. Evidently Podbean is limiting you to 20. There is usually a setting somewhere to increase this limit, so you will need to look in Podbean's settings. iTunes itself does not limit the number until you get to 300.

Video Podcast - feed working ITune won't download recent episode.

I have uploaded my 6 episode using blipTV as video host. Until now have not had a problem.
Episode uploaded.....Feed is working (I tested), for some reason I nor anybody else for that matter can see episode using iTunes. Subscribed and downloaded, all episode except new one work. Pinged iTunes still nothing.
Not sure what next step is. Very strange, I was thinking can I or should I re-enter my feed from bliptv. I looked into changing feeds and it appears I my complicate things.
Feel bad for my viewers, iTunes is my biggest viewing vehicle....BUMMER!!!
Help would be appreciated.

How long ago did you add the episode? Sometimes it takes iTunes a couple of days (or even a week) to update your listing. As long as you are able to download the newest episode, all of your subscribers should be getting the new stuff too. (It's just folks browsing iTunes won't see your newest of the new; once they subscribe they would get the new ones.)
I would be patient for awhile, as lots of people on this board have been reporting that iTunes has been quite slow on its updates lately. If it still isn't working after a few days, post links to your actual feed (not to the iTunes store link) and let us have a look at it.
BTW, are you aware that you have 2 listings for your "Watkis Words of Wisdom" podcast?

Some video podcasts from the iTunes store cannot be copied on iPod 5g ???

I occasionally get the following error message when synchronizing my video iPod (5th generation) with iTunes:
"Podcast title" was not copied to the iPod because it cannot be played on this iPod.
This happens randomly with podcasts such as "ABC News" or "Ellen in a Minute."

It's no use trying the "convert for iPod" option in iTunes since all iTunes video purchases cannot be converted. They are already in the correct format.

This it seems that I cannot now add a similar podcast as it keeps telling me that it has already been submitted. I am using feedburner and have changed as much of the detail as possible, including title, description etc in feedburner and in my rss feed, but i still get the error.
I have created a test podcast and run it through feedburner before trying to add it to iTunes and it seems fine

Although the ping receives a response, the podcast with that ID number has definitely been removed. The feed you link to is empty, containing only the channel tags without content.
If you are submitting a new version you should make sure that the feed URL is changed - just changing the filename would do - as well as making a change to the title; there seems to be a bug in the Store whereby resubmitting a feed for a podcast which has been removed (or rejected) gets this unhelpful response.

Close out of iTunes and then open it back up and try to resume the interrupted download of your audiobook. If you are still unable to download it, then report the issue to the iTunes store about your purchase.

Running itunes 10.6.1.7. did reorg of lib to new struct. reorg left all video podcasts in old folder. I cannot view video podcasts itunes or download. help please.

I just installed itunes 10.6.1.7. on a new PC connected an external hard drive containing my itunes library and pointed to my library on an external hard drive.
I also did reorganization of my library structure via "organize library" menu option. The reorg left all video podcasts in the old podcast folder and will not let me copy them to the new podcast folder.
From the itunes store I cannot select a new video podcast and download and view it in itunes. The podcast will show up but the file or episode has a "GET" button next to it and never shows it as available to view in itunes. I have attempted to download many time with no success.
I have podcasts that are all video podcasts and some that are mixed audio podcasts and video podcasts. in both cases the video podcasts remained in the original folder location.
The video podcasts are not in movies or in tv shows. All music is present and accounted for that I know.
How can I restore all video podcasts previously downloaded and view them on itunes or an ipod?
Can I create a video podcast option in itunes?

Issue solved - It turns out that the QuickTime version on my PC was 6.5 and I needed to update to version 7.6 or higher to allow videos to play in iTunes. I updated to QuickTime version 7.7 and then added the old podcast folder to iTunes while in podcasts. This found all video podcast content and then the auto reorg moved all folders to the new podcast directory. For the videos I manually moved earlier, I had to move (not copy) them back to the old directory or folder then add that old folder and they were now in the right directory and viewable in iTunes.
