Video Recorder Sound Issue

Hi all,
Not sure if my gripe is with my phone or this is a design/production flaw with the phone but when I use the video recorder, the sound is prett lame. I tried a couple times recording my TV and the playback is almost inaudible. Is this normal? I have the volume of the TV to "normal" that's at a comfortable level when I have the TV on and I know this is all relative, but you'll have to trust me when I have it at a comfortable level where anyone who does not have an ear issue can easily hear.

I just did a security wipe and removed all my data and it got stuck on the tutorial page right before you can actually use your playbook. I than held down the volume + and - and power key. To reset the Tablet and every now works
My issue is solved I think, hope this helps anyone having a similiar problems.
Also, if anyone has any ideas why this is happening I would be curious to know.

Had an Iphone 4 for about 3 months now. This happened to the first one I had and they ended up having to replace it at the apple store just a couple weeks ago 6/2. It happened again last night to my new one. This time i was able to correct it by going to itunes, backing up the phone to icloud, and then restoring the software. Mine did not work with voice memo, but did work with headphones plugged in, and would also work on speaker. I could hear callers but they couldn't hear me. I had purchased a new case (lifeproof case at $79.99) because it comes with plugs that cover the headphone jack, and the charging port, and is also waterproof. I heard that the root cause is due to lint, dirt, etc getting inside the headphone jack. Well, must be something else. It's a 10 days old phone, and has been in this overpriced case the whole time, and I have not used the headphones. I hope this doesn't keep happening.

Nokia Lumia 1520 Video recording/playback issues.

I seem to have issues with video recording. Video seems to have some pause "still" effects when taking video and playback in phone shows those stops very clearly as it freezes for while and jumps many seconds forward.
When I play same file in PC with video player the video plays better but still I can manage to see some small Glitch in video like my phone did stop recoding for some frames. I have been using SD card and phone memory and both have same problem.

No solution so far and it is my wife phone so haven't have much reason to play with it find solution. She only takes photos anyway.
This current phone has already broke down 2 sim cards also or wireless charging did brake those not sure after stop using wireless charging 3rd sim card have been fine.
someday when have I feeling to take this phone to warranty service I will try wireless charging again.

Apple TV after upgrade only video no sound issue.

So I had no issues with ATV until yesterday(10/25/2013) when I updated ATV with the latest update .Since then , whenever I play a video on my iphone 5S and airplay it , the video plays well on the TV but there is no audio at all . I tried changing the Dolby setting s and the Audio Output settings , but it doesn't seem to work .
Never had this issue earlier .
Only restarting Apple TV and my Router seems to solve this issue for now .
Is there any fix for this issue.

I understand that one of your notebooks is not playing sound using HDMI, using all the same hardware. Also that you have performed some of the standard checks. I am happy to assist with this.
As to why the one is working and the other is not, is impossible to say yet. Like any complex device, there are small variations between the components, and in some cases that can result in differences between how one performs versus the other. So no two pieces of hardware will be exactly the same.
Anyway, I would recommend you check through this page and since you have already done many of the things within, I would look to the options further down, and start with the hard reset:

Let me know if those steps help at all, and if not, any other information you can provide.

Video Recording Apps issues

Hey there gang,
I was recently at a venue trying to record my brothers band playing useing qik vid app. My audio was terrible and not even worth listening to. However my best friend has the iPhone 4 which has a video recorder built in and her audio was crystal clear. Is there an app for the 3G that anyone can recomend to get better recording for me or is that just the limitations of the 3G's hardware?

IPhone 4 Video Recording, sound muffled?

Hello everyone,
I just bought iPhone 4.
I recorded a video clip and while I listen it, I hear a lot of gravelly audio noises that there is no actual noise in the room.

I just had the same problem occur. There was nothing recorded but a slight hiss. Not even muffled sound. I suspected a real hardware failure of some kind. I took it to the Apple Store for confirmation. My reservation was lost but I stood in line and eventually got it tested. It's a hardware problem and since I'm out of warranty I can:
Put up with never using those features again
Pay Apple $149 for a replacement to use those features again
Pay even more to the carrier and add 2-yrs to my contract to get a new iPhone 4S
Usually a failure like that would happen early in a devices life, but I was not that fortunate.

Mini-Dvi to HDMI or S-video, also sound issues

Hello,
I want to connect my iMac with a Mini-Dvi port to a TV and want to hear the sound from the TV.
What adapters will i need to hook it up to a HDMI port, and will this connection also produce sound on the TV?
If that can't be done can I use a s-video adapter, and what about sound?
Last, do they have longer cables so you don't need your computer right beside the TV?

No. There are no audio signals on the mini-DVI connector. You'll have
to run a separate audio cable from the iMac's audio output to the TV.

Quicktime screen recording sound issue?

I am trying to do a screen recording using quicktime on an 11 inch macbook air but no sound comes out in my end movie. What can I trouble shoot?

I am using OS X 10.9.8 not 10.6.8 as listed above.

I have the HDMI run directly to TV, and the optical run to DAC/Amp
1) TV is first off, then stream music from iPhone through Airplay
Sound is great. But later when TV is turned on, ATV2 only shows the apple logo with everything is only shades of green. Can not get the menu to appear again.

Audigy 2 Video Editor Sound Issue

The sound is great, but for some reason every once in a while i get this problem and i cant figure out why... I plugged in my headphones to the soundcard so i dont disturb my parents yesterday and when i took it out the sound wont come out of my speakers anymore. I can only hear sound through my headphones. I rmember I did something in the past and i got it working again through the speakers but I can't remember. Can anyone please help because I'm getting annoyed that I have to listen through my headphones now. Thanks

Sound Issue when burning an imovie HD projet with iDVD

I've just finished a 45 minutes movie with a rich sound track, using the video recorded sound, mixed with music & garage band loops and effects.
In Imovie, I've used a variable sound level adjustment to have a good sound mix. When playing with iMovie, everything is fine.
When burning my DVD, the volume levels in the soundtrack are incorrect with big sound variations each time i've used a mix of 2 sound effect, one with a decreasing volume, the other one with increasing sound volume at the same time for example.
Is there any known bug issue regarding this ?

Karls answer's helped me to findout the issue.
Nevertheless, this wasn't the bug.
When playing the movie in iMovie HD, sound rendering is not correct. When you burn your DVD, sound track is calculated to mix every sound tracks according to each sound volume curve defined in iMovie.
If you see a dot at the beginning of a sound track this mean that the DVD sound rendering will be incorrect.
Clean the and make sure that, when you select a sound object, you can change its volume by adjusting it, not manually, but using the general volume cursor. If not, you have a problem. Remake a perfect flat volume curve before adjusting it again.

No sound while video recording on N500!

Hello! I just bought Lenovo 3000 N500 for my sister who is in Germany...I want to check everything on laptop, because I want her to use it to skype me...Everything is lovely, except I can't get sound while video recording...Is it possible this laptop has a webcam, but no integrated microphone? But when I go and use windows sound recorder that comes with Vista it records audio...But I can't get video to work with audio recording in the same time...Anybody there with a solution? Same problem. Here's my solution:
For now i record video using an app calle "Video FX Live". It records sounds clearly. Native iphone app still doesnt records any sound.
So this proves the sound issues during video recording or facetime IS an IOS BUG.

Hey ErikSimon, I kept troubleshooting my problem last night and when I loaded my samples an alternate way, actually the longer way, it worked. I think I have gremlins in the system or something, but I got it working again. I was having the issue when I tried loading the samples via these instructions that were mentioned in SFLogicninja's Youtube video @ 3:07
