Video's and songs start then stop then start again

Whenever I try to play A Video or A Song, they start, then stop, then start again.
What should I do?

Try to uinstall and reinstall your audio device.
1. On Window vista,Click on Start and type Devive Manager on the search box.Look for sound, video and game controllers.Click on the plus sign,you should see the audio adapter, most toshiba laptops use realtek high definition audio.Just right click and click on uninstall.
2.After you uninstall,Click action at the top of your device manager and click scan for hardware changes.It should reinstall the audio adapter.
3. Try to play music.
Notes: Sometimes the problem is like this because of some driver updates from windows vista.

This is usually a good indication that your headphones aren't plugged all the way in. The white part of the headset should be flush with the body of the Nano and no silver from the headphone's plug should still be seen. The headphone jacks on the newer nanos are a bit tighter than in previous generations and require a bit of extra force.

How do I adjust video clip and audio start times?

I cant figure out how to adjust the start time of video clips and songs. I want my music and video clips to start at different times. I am trying to have music and pictures start at the same time at the begining of the movie then transition into my videos at a specific time. Also i am wondering if there is a way to combine the whole video and image segment into one block and be able to shift it up and down the timeline? Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks

I have an ipod nano 5th generation. the problem with it's that it doesn't show in itunes when connected to the laptop and it switches on on its own and songs start playing the battery gets consumed too fast after full charge. what is the actual problem?

What have you tried so far in terms of troubleshooting this issue? Are you plugging the iPod into a high powered USB 2.0 port on the back of your PC? Have you tried a different USB cable?
What happens if you try to reset the device with it still connected to the PC?

Has this iPod ever worked on this PC or is this the first time you have time you have tried connecting it?
Have you carefully worked through each and every single suggestion in this Apple support document?

Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

I have bought a song and it starts again halfway through

the song 'save yourself' by liel i bought but i found that halfway through it started again and the song finished at the halfway point. i bought it again to see if it was my computer but the same thing happened.

Song starts again after a few seconds

Just noticed a strange one...
My iPhone 5 is syncing music and I'm playing something else on it while this is happening. Sometimes, a track will start and several seconds into it, it will start again from the beginning. The display shows the name of the previous track and I have to press forward to get the track to play properly.
The song I'm playing is from an album that has already synchronised.

Get over this, it happens to me too, all the time. Also when adding lyrics.
When you add artwork to an mp3-type file, the size will increase. And depending on iTune's mood with Windows at the time, it might stop.
So just hit pause and then play again, and your song should go.

iPhone 3gs, still running 5.1.1 because I actually rely on the mapping software.
A few days back, it started randomly exiting various apps for no reason. Today, I tried powering off and re-starting, but when it re-started it had erased all contacts.
Last backup was a couple days before, so I won't have lost anything crucial, but this is the first such disaster since bying the phone 3 years ago. I see numerous complaints about this, and no real solution or explanation offered from Apple. What are you syncing them WITH? Do NOT say iTunes. iTunes is NOT a contact manager.
If you're syncing them with your computer, your choices are MS Outlook or Windows Address Book on a PC, and Contacts / Address Book on a Mac.
If you are not syncing your contacts with a contact manager or cloud service, you are NOT syncing your contacts.

It sounds like you had a hardware failure. You can try doing a SMC reset, read the instructions carefully though as they cover multiple models of Macs. If that doesn't help I think it's time to contact a AASP. The AASP site is for the US, you will need to find one in Brazil though.

Microsoft Exchange Transport Service....Starting (Does not reach a running state, stops and tries starting again)

After installing the lovely update (https://technet.microsoft.com/library/security/ms14-068) that Microsoft released last week. I restarted my exchange 2013 server and now the Microsoft Exchange Transport Service will not start. It is pretty much constantly
in a starting state. Tried all the standard stuff, restarting the server etc.
Running on Server 2012 R2
Hopefully someone can shed some light.

- Have you installed all roles on the same server ? ( MultiRole server )
- If yes, do use the preconfigured receive connectors from Exchange or did you add custom connectors ?
- Do you have any anti-spam service installed on the server that could be listening on port 25 ?

IMac 27" 2011 - shuts down and wont start again

Hi everybody
I got my new iMac 27" intel i7 16 GB kingston ram for about a moth ago and worked perfectly until now.
Suddently it shuts down and when I tried to turn it on again, there was no response. I then waited about 30 minutes and tried again and it turned on. I thought it might be a one time accident, but 10 minutes later it shut down again.
When it shut down the first time it has been turned on for about 2 hours and I wasn't doing heavy work, just some surfing.
Anyone else who has experienced this and found i solution for whats causing this?
Are the any logfiles I can investigate to see what might happend?

As Roger suggests, RAM is likely your problem. Have a look at this long thread:

Another workround is to try running on 12gb of the Kingston RAM and see if that solves the problem.
It seems that there is an issue with some makes of RAM and I believe that changing to Samsung RAM seems to fix things.
