Video's too small. Help!

I have upgraded from an iPhone 3 to a 4s. I am happy with the 4s except one thing. When I get a video texted to me I cannot view it full screen. It just comes up as this little tiny box of a video. Same if I send one. On the 3 it could always be viewed on the whole screen. Is there a setting I have wrong or is it like that on every one.

You use BeSweet to down mix the multichannel audio to 2 channels.

  • I have an Ipad Air. I have tried posting videos from Ipad (that I have saved from Nikon & I have taken with the Ipad Air) to Facebook but I am getting a pop up that video is too small and needs to be at least 1 Kb. The videos are at least 30 seconds.

Do I need to change a setting?  Thanks

I have tried to post the video from the video itself and also I have tried on the Facebook app and Facebook.com.  I go to select video, then I write something about the video.  It's showing the video attached before I even "post"to Facebook.  Then I hit post and that's when I get the pop up that the video is too small.

  • Oddball Video Format Too Small

My daughter's barn has a Lorex security DVR. It saves the video in some odd format (h.264?), but they do provide a tool for converting it to AVI. So I've done that.
The first screenshot is the G-Spot for the resulting AVI file. It looks a little odd, but I can import it into PRE7 and it works (albeit with the red line above everything).
But my problem is that the imported file only fills about half of the screen (see image below). I've tried right-clicking the clip and selecting "Scale To Frame Size", but that actually made it smaller!
I tried scaling it to about 173% and got it took up the screen, but it didn't look that great.
Is there any (easy) way to get the video to scale up to normal size and look OK? Bonus points if I can avoid having to press Enter to get the green line since I did that once and it look like it was going to take many, many hours to finish. Something with the PAR?
I had some success with running it through VLC and converting it to WMV and using MovieMaker to convert to DV-AVI. Decent quality at normal size, but VLC is very flaky when trying to do the conversion and it doesn't always work, plus it adds another 2 steps to every file which is more work than my lazy self wants to do

    function(){return A.apply(null,[this].concat($A(arguments)))}
It's not likely MovieMaker will be able to convert it, Ed.
You are correct about that, sir. I tried it, and MM said it can't read the file (I did not try changing the suffix to MP4 and using MM... not sure if that would "trick" it).
But that's OK, because my goal here is to as few conversions as possible. Here's what I was doing:
Convert the native h.264 -> AVI (using the Lorex conversion software)
Convert the MP4 AVI -> WMV (using VLC)
Convert the WMV -> DV-AVI (using Movie Maker)
    Import the DV-AVI to PRE
But besides being time-consuming, the VLC has (admitted) bugs in the WMV conversion, so the WMVs it created weren't always correct (e.g. file should be 15 minutes long but was only 3 minutes, even though file size was correct for 15 minutes). Also, I typically have to convert 4 or 5 files for each project, making the whole process even grueling.
Ideally, I'd like to just import the native h.264 file into PRE (v.7, BTW) but that doesn't seem to work. So I'm trying to make the whole conversion process as painless as possible. Here's what I had done that resulted in the files in the original post:
Convert the native h.264 -> MP4 AVI (using the Lorex conversion software)
Import the MP4 AVI to PRE
It "works", except as I said the red line above the clips and the fact that it's too small.
    function(){return A.apply(null,[this].concat($A(arguments)))}
Which project settings did you use in Premiere Elements?
Hmm. The same one I always use for regular ol' Digital 8 DV-AVI projects. I forget the details.
    function(){return A.apply(null,[this].concat($A(arguments)))}
Ideally, you should get Quicktime Pro from Apple ($29).
I'll check into that. If it will (easily) do the conversion I want, it would be worth it.
I wonder what do you think the odds are it would be able to read the native h.264 and output DV-AVI - that would be fantastic! Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to offer a trial version...

  • Stills scale too small, Help please

When I Lay a still above the video track you can see the video showing through on the sides of the still just barely. I have converted their size to 720 x 540 in photshop and have tried other sizes before dropping them on the timeline with the same result. My preferences are set to default scale to frame size. I don't want to manually scale each clip. Any ideas?

    > I have converted their size to 720 x 540 in photshop
Convert them to 720x480 (or 720x576 for PAL) instead and flag them with the appropriate aspect ratio.
Adobe seems to consider 720x540 as "NTSC square pixels". The logic is somewhat flawed, assuming 0.9 PAR for NTSC:
    540 * 0.9 = 486 -> (720x486) -> [scaled to frame size] = 711.1111 x 480

  • The video tutorial window that shows when photoshop is launched is TOO SMALL. Can it be maximized??

The "Welcome" window that opens when PS CC 2014 is launched show the option to playa specific  vidieo tutorials. However, that window in not adjustable and is frequently too small to see exactly what the person is actually doing. Can the video be enlarged?
There are other secondary videos that can be watched in that same window. These other videos are really quite tiny, actually. I can't see at all what the person is doing. I think it would be nice to be able to enlarge the videos presented within the Welcome window that opens with PS CC 2014. Is anyone else having this problem??
    Thanks,
    Chick

I am aware of the above links; they do  not appear to contain the same, most recent videos containing the most recent updates that open in Photoshop  when Photoshop is updated, however.
I think having these videos discussing the most recent updates immediately available in Photoshop is more timely and convenient. but again, I wonder why the video window is so small. Why was that considered good form and even helpful?
    Thank you.

  • Video Imports and Exports Too Small

I'm sure this is basic, but it only just started happening and I can't figure out the solution.
When I capture any video (HD or DV) it appears much smaller in the player window than it should. When I export, same thing.
The weird thing is, it worked fine for a long time, but then I started capturing video from my Flip Mino HD. Now, I'm back to capturing video off of my Canon XL2 (DV) and the video window is too small.
I cannot find any capture settings that set the dimmensions of the video. Can someone help?

I was looking at the capture settings and the export settings.
The shooting specs. will determine your Project/Sequence Preset. It might match one of the existing Presets, or need to be setup as Desktop (Custom), and all attributes need to match. Then, you will be Capturing the exact matched footage into a matched Sequence.
If you need to alter things on the output end, you can do that with your Export settings in AME, but to start, everything should match perfectly.
    Good luck,
    Hunt

  • Font in Photoshop PDF help is too small

Font in Photoshop PDF help is too small.
    http://helpx.adobe.com/pdf/photoshop_reference.pdf
How can i ask photoshop developers to increase it?
How can i increase it before print?

It's standard 11pt type for the most part, so I don's see how it could be too small. Simply use the zoom options in Acrobat/ Adobe Reader, if you have difficulty reading it. There is no way to actually increase the font size and have the document reflow.

  • IMovie to iDVD--Video too dark, sound too loud--Help!

I created three iMovie projects for my son's swim team, then made a DVD using iDVD. It was fine when viewed in iDVD's preview, but when burned to the DVD-R the video was too dark and the sound was way too loud. This is footage taken on a Sony digital camcorder (DCR-TRV11).
I did the iDVD project by starting from scratch from within iDVD, then dragging the iMovie pieces and still images into the iDVD project. The iMovie pieces were prepared by using Share to make them into "full quality" .dv movies.
When I play the finished DVD on my iMac, there are no unusual problems with the video or audio. It looks and sounds like it did when played from the digital camcirder. But when played on both of my standalone DVD players + TVs, the video is too dark and the audio is much too loud.
Any idea why this is, and to fix it? I don't find a way to reduce the audio volume in iMovie. Maybe there is a workaround using the Relative Volume feature, but all my clips have a similar sound level. Any help will be appreciated.
    --Eric
    iMac G5   Mac OS X (10.4.3)

when burned to the DVD-R the video was too dark
They is a VERY slight darkening during the MPG-2 compression process (see my pages Digital Video Color Bars Test at http://homepage.mac.com/profpixel/color_bars/colorbars.htm and iMovie HD and iDVD 5 Gray Patch Test at http://homepage.mac.com/profpixel/gray_patches/graypatches.htm )
I suspect what you are seening is a major difference in brightness/contrast between your computer monitior and your TV set (and in fact you admit this: "When I play the finished DVD on my iMac, there are no unusual problems with the video or audio. It looks and sounds like it did when played from the digital camcirder. But when played on both of my standalone DVD players + TVs, the video is too dark and the audio is much too loud.") so you aren't seeing an iDVD problem.

How to increase font size in SQL Developer Help text?
    Niksa Jurinovic
    [email protected]

Although this only partially addresses the problem, you can increase the help text font size by pressing the + (plus) key in your numeric keypad (in both SQL Developer and JDeveloper). The following (or similar wording) will be added to the "Using the Help" topic in the help and the User's Guide in a future release of SQL Developer:
"To increase the size of the font in the help topic viewer, press the + (plus) key in the numeric keypad part of your keyboard when the viewer has focus. To decrease the size of the font, press the - (minus) key in the numeric keypad. This setting is preserved only for the duration of the current help pane or window; therefore, you may want to keep the help pane open after setting the help text font to your preferred size."

  • Space for video titles is too small!

    Hi,
Am I missing something? The amount of space assigned to a video title is too small - for example I have 3 podcasts called
OnSoftware - Secure Coding in C and C++ with Robert Seacord - Part 1
OnSoftware - Secure Coding in C and C++ with Robert Seacord - Part 2
OnSoftware - Secure Coding in C and C++ with Robert Seacord - Part 3
The video list shows 3 videos called 'Secure Coding in C...' - how would I know which one is which?
And no, they're not in numerical order!
Is there any way to get the video title to scroll to see the rest of it?
    Cheers,
    Steve.

I agree with this, hopefully well have scrolling text in the future, as per previous iPods.

  • Upgraded to GeForce GTX TITAN Black video card. Everything is too small to read.

Upgraded to GeForce GTX TITAN Black video card and a Samsung 4K monitor, recently. Now, everything in Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 is too small to read. What can I do to make it readable?

UI scaling for larger displays was just added in the latest CC update, so I don't think there's much you'd be able to do on Premiere's end in CS6. If you're in Windows, you could use the universal scaling in the display control panel, but things might get chunky pretty fast with that.
