Video's van pc naar iPad, hoe?

Hoe kan ik mijn persoonlijke video's van mijn pc op ipad3 zetten? Ik probeer dit via iTunes, maar kan dan de map Mijn afbeeldingen, waarin video's en foto's staan, niet vinden. Zie wel mijn iPad staan. Kan iemand me helpen?

Ik wil overstappen van versie 15.0.1 onder wXP naar een nieuwe computer met w7. Op deze computer heb ik ook versie 15.0.1 geïnstalleerd. Ik heb de instructies uit het artikel 'Een back-up van gegevens in Firofox-profielen maken en terugzetten' gevolgd waarvan ik weet dat deze instructies werken van XP naar XP. Onder w7 wordt de nieuw gecopieerde inhoud van de map xxxxxxxx.default door Firefox echter genegeerd. Voor zover ik het kan beoordelen wordt bijv het bestand places.sqlite, waar de bladwijzers in zouden staan, niet gebruikt. Hoe kan ik de instellingen van mijn oude computer meenemen naar mijn nieuwe computer?

1. Ik heb profiles.ini gelocaliseerd in wXP en gekopieerd naar de overeenkomstige map in w7. In de overeenkomstige map in w7 was geen profiles.ini aanwezig. Vervolgens heb ik xxxxxxxx.default in w7 vervangen door de uit wXP gecopieerde xxxxxxxx.default. Resultaat: in w7 wordt opnieuw een eigen xxxxxxxx.default aangemaakt zonder naar het gecopieerde bestand te kijken.
2. Ik heb in profiles.ini de naam van de wXP xxxxxxxx.default gewijzigd in de naam van de door w7 gegenereerde xxxxxxxx.default en vervolgens de ''inhoud'' van de wXP xxxxxxxx.default gecopieerd naar de door w7 gegenereerde xxxxxxxx.default. Resultaat: in w7 worden in xxxxxxxx.default nieuwe bestanden gegenereerd zonder naar de gecopieerde bestanden te kijken.
3. Ik heb in w7 met de zoekfunctie gezocht naar een mogelijke andere profiles.ini. De enige profiles.ini in het systeem is echter het bestand dat ik erop gezet heb. Conclusie: de installatie van Firefox 15.0.1 in w7 maakt geen gebruik van een profiles.ini.
De vraag blijft: hoe kan ik de instellingen van mijn oude computer meenemen naar mijn nieuwe computer?

Problemen met video's van verschillende camera's.

Enkele weken geleden heb ik Adobe Premiere Elements 13 gekocht waarmee ik nu mijn eerste film aan het maken ben.
Tot mijn verbazing worden de films van de ene camera niet volledig in beeld gebracht in premiere. Het rechter deel van de film komt niet in beeld. Ik mis aan de rechterzijde van het beeld ongeveer 10-20% van de totale breedte.
Het beeld wordt wel over de volle hoogte in beeld gebracht. Aan de linkerzijde is ook alles zichtbaar.
De eigenschappen van deze film is MPEG-film, beelgrootte 540*576, beeldfrequentie 25, pixelverhouding 1,4587*1,4587.
De film komt in premiere in beeld met 2 zwarte verticale stroken links en rechts. Echter de hele film, het rechter deel komt niet in beeld.
Het beeld van de andere camera komt geheel in premiere in beeld. Alleen aan de linker en rechterzijde zijn een smalle zwarte streep te zien.
De eigenschappen van deze film is MPEG-film, beeldgrootte 1920*1080, beeldfrequentie 29,97, pixelverhouding 1.
Voor beide type films is het geen probleem om het beeld schermvullend te krijgen.
Wie weet een manier om toch al het beeldmateriaal van het eerstgenoemde type film in beeld te krijgen in het programma premier elements 13,
Of wat heb ik niet goed gedaan.

It is a hard one.. laptops with small drives are a pain.
What you need is a home media server.
Some people use a PC running itunes for cost.. but that is nothing like as good as using a Mac mini.. they make great little HTPC device.. you can plug in large hard disks and store all your files and media. And share it with the network.. Read up apple's instructions on home sharing.

For cost you can buy a mini from 2011 or 2012.. I would not recommend earlier ones.. the advantage of 2012 is they have USB3 ports. But you will pay more for them.. new mini is not as useful.. they have soldered in memory and you cannot upgrade.. the old mini was the most easily modified mac in the whole range. Uses little power and can be bought for a $300US for a good one second hand.. maybe less.

And exactly how did you place videos into iCloud from your iPad? Photos and videos from the camera roll are stored in your iCloud backup which is only accessible by restoring from the backup.
If you are talking about purchased videos, go to the purchased tab of iTunes on the iPad, tap on Movies, tap on Not on this iPad and if there is a cloud icon next to those videos, you can download them again for free.

Try this and see if it fixes it for you. Close all apps in the recents tray and then reboot the iPad.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of all of the app icons. Tap the home button.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Youtube usually had an 8 minute length cap, which may be part of your issue. Also at 18 minutes that is probably a gig+ file size, which will also take a long time to upload and may be another part of the issue.
Edit it down as jim suggested. Or you may need to use something like dropbox, to get it off your ipad and onto a computer where might have more options to edit it down or size it down.
If it's just file size you can transcode it into a smaller file - a lower quality MP4 for example. If it's the length that's an issue for youtube, you'll need to break it up into a couple different files and upload part 1 and part 2

You cannot use Apple TV.. again the TC is not a media device and has no media extensions.
You can store video files on the TC.. but the ATV must work either via airplay so you run the video on an ipad for instance and send the screen view to the apple tv or you have itunes running on a computer.
BTW a WD live TV can play video files from a TC.. because it is a true media player.. the Apple TV is not a media player.. it is a streamer.

Video and audio formats for iPad

Hey, guys.. I've tried searching this up in the forum but didn't have any luck with that..
I can't seem to upload my movies and songs into iPad... I tried converting my movie into .mov and .mp4. They can both be imported into my iTunes library but when I drag it to the iPad tab it says it cannot be copied because it cannot be played on the iPad. And some of my albums just can't be imported.
May I know the preferred format for my movies and my songs? And what could be the problem with my importing..

Perhaps I don't know the basics of video publication here, but I am trying to figure out why my published video will only play in the Safari browser on the iPad, and not the video app on the iPad app. When I click on web videos on various websites using Safari, you can choose to display the video full screen on the iPad and the video opens in it's on video player. The play bar Captivate inserts is way too small for the average user. Can I get my videos published by Captivate to use the iPad's video player instead?
