Video scale

Question

i just started using flash... well, yesterday, though after i
read most of a manual (flash cs3 pro bible) and for the most part
things were going well so far except for a few snags. one in
particular has been giving me grief. when i first started this
project and i went to set the stage size, (before i read the
manual) i was looking at it and knew that it was the 'viewfinder'
of the scene, however i was unfamiliar with pixel measurements and
i thought, 'wow, thats tiny. it needs to be a lot bigger than
that!' sooo what i did was increase the stage size to 1500 x1500
px, forgot about it and did most of my work up to this point in
that format. well, i went to testplay it and lo and behold, the
screen took up my whole monitor and the image within was zoomed so
close i couldnt make anything out. i checked the px settings for my
computer and decided to half it, but obviously, i was able to
change the stage size but not the size of the files. i tried to
figure out a way to resize them all at once, but im not ready for
actionscript. i ended up just going through all my items in the
transform tab and scaling each of them to 50% individually and then
rearranging them manually on the stage. nevertheless, i went to
testplay it once again at 750x750 and the display screen shrunk to
the new size, but the scene inside is still zoomed in way too far.
even if the display screen was the default size it looks like the
image would still be zoomed on the center and cropped (the image
was the same size, only the window size changed.) i tried
everything i could think of in the publish settings but nothing
worked and i checked the instruction manual but to no avail. is
there anything i could do besides manually resize everything again?
even if i did im afraid the aspect ratio still wont fit the new
video size. i only have one scene so far, though its rather
complex. i like the artwork i did for it and i dont want to have to
redraw the whole thing. the worst part is that im pressed for time.
i started making this for an online animated music video
competition. i had a great idea for a story and scene setup and i
am a proficient artist so i downloaded the free trial version of
flash and immediately got to work. despite the technical prowess of
some of the competition ive seen, i think i do actually have a
chance in this contest even though my knowledge of the software is
limited. my strategy is to make something as simple but as visually
unique and effective as i possibly can mainly as a sturdy structure
to shore up my concept. i have 16 days left to finish a 1 minute
long clip. speaking of, i also need to find out how to string one
audio file (an mp3 track of the song) across multiple .fla files.
regardless, ive always wanted to get into animation and this
project has been a major turning point for me. its been alot of fun
and after this thing is over i plan on actually buying the software
and start making a website with my own flash movies. if any of you
could help me out or just give me some useful tips it would really
make my day. thanx : )

You can just tween the width and height of FLVPlayback to the stage width and height and move the position to (0, 0).
