Video streaming audio problems.

After watching a video online, I have this problem every time lately.
I quit Firefox, but the audio of the stream i watched previously, remains, and I can't switch it off. It is very strange, hence I have quitted Firefox. I can only restart my mac to stop this audio.
Any ideas how to stop this happening?

It could be a number of issues, make sure that the computers are 802.11G capable. It seems however that a lot of people are having problems sustaining fast transfer rates with the Airport Extreme, you might want to check out this thread:

Macbook 2009 bluetooth Yosemite - Streaming Audio problems

I seem to have terrible problems with bluetooth streaming Audio ever since the upgrade, sounds like a bug that needs to be fixed.

I also always listened to streaming web radio in itunes (128k) which is now barely usable in Yosemite, it skips, drops out and stops playing constantly.
I have a 75mbps fios connection so that is not the issue and it always worked great before. Just started after upgrading to yosemite.

Ipod Movie/Video with Audio problems

I have some music videos, it would only sync as imovie...but even so their shouldnt be a problem with the audio function of the ipod should their? i just received the ipod for christmas but the videos i have uploaded have no sound....reguler songs work fine...could someone help me with the problem so i could enjoy the music of my videos?

Sounds like the video files might not be in the correct format for use with the iPod. I would recommend that you download an iPod Video Converter and run the files through it, and then try syncing the newly created files on to the iPod.
I've used Videora, and have had some good results with it. The only problem that I've really run into is that sometimes the audio is a few seconds out of sync with the video. It's not soo bad that watching the video files is unbearable, but that's all up to you.
You can try a Google search for iPod Video Converter, or you can check on VersionTracker.com

I have finally resolved the problem of both Audio and Video, " Did not respond" Now able to link up with family and friends in USA, London,and of course my country "Australia".
The problem was solved by Bridging between Mac and Modem, i.e Modem "ADSL 302G" now only acts as a Box and all connections and settings of Ports is now driven by Mac. Band speed width is set at the nearest level of your upspeed, Should you wish to connect to two buddies you will then have to halve your upspeed to get equal distribution. If one of your other buddies have a higher upspeed then thaey can do the invitation to the video conference. Audio connection should be set of course to Internal microphone.
Ports to be opened within Firewall are for TCP 5190,5297,5298. and UDP 5060,5190,5297,5298,5678,16384-16403.

Video and audio Problem

I have a 5g ipod 30 gig. Sometimes when I play video files, and then try to go back to the menu and select an audio file, both of the files will play. This results in a terrible sounding, distorted sound where I can here the audio from both the video and the song/audiobook. I mean that once I play the audio file, the video file resumes as well so I can hear the sound on both of them. Has anyone else had this problem? Should I send the ipod back to Apple and get it fixed/replaced. Thanks in advance for your help

Adobe premiere Elements 12 video and audio problems

When ever I import a video that was recorded with bandicam both the audio and video are terrible, the video is 360 p and the audio is static. I just bought Adobe premiere yesterday and already having issues. If anyone can help it is greatly appreciated.
The format for the video is: MPEG-1

Streaming audio problems with flash 11

Win XP Pro, 32 bit, IE 8 and Chrome 19: Flash 10 would stop (iheart radio) 4-5 times with a "streaming error". Iheart suggested upgrading flash to version 11. Since then, audio quality has gone down - echos, reverbs, slows, skips - sounds like an old 8 track tape! Attempts to remove flash 11 have failed - it just comes back. I followed the steps at adobe help, it still comes back. Tried updating audio drivers (intel 82801AA) - no change. Tried installing archived version 10 - flash still reports version 11. This thing is stickier than peanut butter on a hot day in a glue factory! Can anyone help - this is driving me craaazzzzyyyy.

IOS6.1 and streaming audio problems

I have an iPhone 4, and a Peugeot 308. I have been happily streaming music from my phone through the Bluetooth without any issues other than the occasional mystery loss of pairing.
Since updating to iOS 6.1 last week, I can continue to use the Bluetooth for calls, but audio streaming refuses to connect. I have tried forgetting the device and pairing it again, with no success. A friend's iPhone that has not been updated to iOS 6.1 is working just fine. My own was working fine until last week on iOS 6.0.1.
Any thoughts? Go back to 6.0.1? How?

Everytime I try to access a streaming aidio site, it will start playing and stop after bout a minute? I never use to have any problems with it on my previous version of software...is anyone else having the same problem?!

I am accessing the site via wi-fi connection...have a BB Bold as well and works fine...

Video and audio problem, please help!

Every time I stream a video or play a DVD, the video and sound freezes for about ten to twelve seconds continously. It is very irritating and rather inconvenient.
Does anyone have any idea why? I just switched to a Mac and am loving it so far. I would hate to have to take my laptop in.

Video Chat audio problem

I placed a msg on the forum several months ago that I could not get the receiver of a video chat call to hear me, although they had good video imput. Well I have held on, expecting my provider to upgrade my line speed. This has now been done and I am able to use video chat. My line speed has been increased 3 fold--384mbps to 1000mbps.Still very slow by world standards, but at least my BB playbook works. I think someone else in a 3rd world country had similar problems so i hope my imput helps

Video/no audio problem

I downloaded a video from limewire in mpeg format. I opened it in tunes and converted it.Now it plays with video but no audio. i checked other topics,i read other articles but they didn' help my situation.Also I'm not willing to pay for Quicktime Pro nor do I have iMovie. so any help is appreciated.

Look on the back of your tv. does it have an audio in 3.5mm jack socket ? if so all you need to do is buy a long enough 3..5 mm male to male jack cable to connect from your mac book headphone socket to the tv

IChat video and audio problems Mac to Mac

My associate and I have just set up video chatting with iChat, AIM accounts, and Logitech Quickcam Vision Pro cameras. I have a 12" G4 Powerbook and he has a late-model G5. We are both connecting to internet via Airports, with cable at my end and DSL at his end. After going through many discussion postings, we adjusted our settings so that Quicktime streaming was set to 1.5mbps, log on to AIM was on port 443 rather than 5190, iChat video bandwidth was set to 500, and Internet sharing was off on both machines. We can now see and hear one another, but the sound quality is very poor (we tried Skype, too, and the sound quality is much, much better) and the images we see of one another are very fuzzy and jerky (very slightly better than Skype, and our local images are very sharp and smooth). Worse, the image I see of him disintegrates (pixelates, horizontal lines, etc.) most of the time; he can see some of this on his local image of himself. The disintegration does not occur on Skype. We would rather use iChat, but obviously cannot with these conditions. I have seen no description of anything like this in any of the first 15 or so pages of discussions. Help!

If Quicktime is at 1.5Mbps and you get this try the Bandwidth Setting at NONE.
WE suggest the 500 setting fro a couple of reasons.
Two ISPs, Comcast and Road Runner, practice Data Stream Management to combat File Sharing apps. This reduces the Internet Speed they supply to try and make these applications unworkable.
Unfortunately they can not distinguish between those Apps and iChat in an A/V chat which is also Peer-to-Peer and sending lots of data in both directions.
Other ISPs practice "Fair Usage" Policies and restrict the Bandwidth (And therefore speed) during High Use periods (but never say when those periods are).
The effect is the same as the Comcast/Road Runner issue.
If NONE still does not work try one of the other two setting in-between NONE and 500kbsp.
iChat does use a large amount of processor and Video card time and processing.
It pays to make sure you are not rendering some iMovie item or other high Processor use App.
AS iChat can be effected by Bandwidth issues Sharing the Connection you have with another computer that is downloading or streaming something from the 'Net can be an issue.
It may pay him to look in Activity Monitor (Applications/Utilities) and see what is using the Processor (Set it to All Processes then click the CPU column to re-arrange the list). Anything over about 20% may effect iChat. (vcencoder in lower case is part of iChat)

after i have done with recording video clips and i replay the video,the phone speaker came out a very noisy sound (is like a bad Radio Frequencies noise)
why or how is this happen ???
how can i stop the noisy sound that came out from the phone speaker ?

yes,the sound appear to be the same too when i play on the pc
the noisy sound came from the loudspeaker outlet,

Streaming Audio problem

I have just purchased a new Mac and while setting it up I found that while listening to live radio over the internet it constantly freezes up and starts again. Checked my internet connection speed and all speed checks are good for a DSL connection. Radio stations in itunes work fine. Any advice out there?

That opens right up and plays audio for me in Windows Media Player. I've never installed Flip4Mac but have continued to use WMP. Many users here have said that Flip4Mac performs well for them but I have never tried it. WMP has worked for me when I need it. I'm sorry that MS has discontinued development of WMP for the Mac. I'd rather use a full fledged WMP made by MS if I have to play Windows Media.
Maybe you can still find a copy of WMP for Mac and give that a try.
