I purchased a tv show and only half of what I paid for downloaded, It just keep saying (could not connect to the server to download) but im connect to the internet
so i dont know why it keeps saying that. so should i do

Yes. Play the TV Show for a few seconds. A message should come up asking for your iTunes account info. Enter the information of the account it was purchased with. Play it for a few seconds. Sync the iPod.

Read this article related to your issue. You may be trying to sync the High Definition (HD) version of the TV Show to your device. The iPod classic does not support HD content. You'll want to download the SD version instead.

To prevent HD versions from being downloaded in the future head to the iTunes Store, click the Purchased link, and then select TV Shows and remove the tick mark next to Download HD when available. You should be able to download the SD version now from under this same page.

Not all video format downloaded from iTunes is compatible with ipod nano. Make sure that the file extnesion is mp4 or any quicktime formats. If not, create a version on these format using iTunes or convert using a third party software. Cheers!

Videos and podcasts wont download

I've downloaded Lost tv show from iTunes and some other podcasts too but they wont download onto my iPod nano no matter what I do everything else seems to be working please help me I'm going crazy. are the tv shows just something I have to watch on my computer or what?

TV shows and video podcasts won't display on the nano. To watch those you either need to use iTunes on your computer, or you need to get a video iPod.
Audio podcasts should work just fine on your nano.

On what computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 11 running?
Your videos are likely 1920 x 1080p30 H.264.mov. Please confirm.
First question, do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer. If not, please do that

Certain video podcasts wont download

The majority of the video podcasts download fine, but a few wont. When I click the ! it says that the podcast might be corrupt or the wrong format. Also, the podcasts that wont download wont play in the store and do not display their time.
Does anyone know how to get the podcasts to download?

First video podcast wont download

Hi,
I have a podcast I have been running for a little over a year (audio, mp3). Today I released my first video from the feed. It shows up in the list but wont download from iTunes only. Using my browser direct to my feed and a test with doppler also pulled it down without issue.
The video is in mp4 format and I can view it locally in iTunes.
Totally stumped as to why that one episode wont load.
My feed is http://www.flaxpond.net/today/podcast/todayinvmk.rss if anyone would like to see it. (I know its ugly but it works USUALLY ROFL)
Or look for cowboy from iTunes (only video in the feed, released 11/15/07) from the today in vmk podcast.

If everything else has worked for you, my first guess would be that the podtrack prepend is tripping iTunes up because it ends in ".mp3". I couldn't preview the file in the Store, and when I subscribed to the feed, it looked like the file downloaded, but then it would disappear (I can't even find it on my hard drive!). So, try changing/removing the podtrack prefix in your feed and see if it works. If it doesn't, I would recommend working on overhauling your feed, cause Validator says it is invalid.

Phone wont download or keep video, songs images

I am having a little problem. My phone before will take in any video, music I download or picture i take, a few weeks ago i tried to download more music videos and it did not store them. It said that it was sent onto my phone but when i check the media to view them they are not there. It also wont keep any pictures I take or store any music i download. I have deleted images from the media file thinking it needed more space, but its still wont download anything.
I also noticed that when I plug mu phone into my laptop when i go into the files on my phone it shows everything I have downloaded but wont let me see on the actual phone. Please can you help.

I have a video I just got from i tunes (yes it mp4 converted, I checked) and when i try to download it to my i pod it says (name of i pod) disk can not be read to or from. I have had other problems with videos being downloaded to my i pod as well. any help would be appreciated.

You probably need to update Flash Player.

You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):

and also that you follow the instructions closely, such as closing ALL applications first before installing. You must also carry out a permission repair after installing anything from Adobe.

Hi MandyD. They need to be converted to a format the iPod understands. The easiest way (but not the best quality) is to use iTunes to convert them. Make sure you have the most recent version of iTunes which is currently 6.02.
Select your file in the library, right click on it and select 'Convert Selection for iPod'.
There are better programs that will convert video for iPod with better quality results. If you need to know what they are, just do a quick search of the forum and you'll get a gizillion hits.

well im telling you because that happened to me im not saying it to cause problems or anything i love apple i have my ipod, i have a mac, and imac, and and iphone i love apple but that really happened to me until my brother told me to use the original usb cable that come with my ipod and that solved my problem and then later i tried with the other cable and the new videos wont go to my phone then i had to do the same use the original cable.
