Video wont go "To Back"

Ok... i'm creating a site for my work using iWeb.. i want to put the logo for our company up in the top right corner.. but the logo is actually a QT movie, which scrolls between our 2 names.. when I just drop the video on the background, you see the black box around the video, which you would with any video.. so to combat that, i took the background logo, and erased the area where the logo is placed, and then send the logo (QT Video) To Back, so it would be behind everything, and would just show where its erased on the background.... it looks find it iWeb, does exactley what I want.. BUT when I open the page in safari or Firefox, you can see where I erased on the background, and then the video logo appears.. on top of it.. instead of behind... any idea why it does this???

I can't find the knowledgebase article right now, but QuickTime movies are always rendered on the frontmost layer. You can't make a movie go to "Back".

You need to be on wifi to do a backup. And you need to be plugged in to power for it to automatically backup each night.

There are no refunds, but you can try contacting itunes support. Click "Support" at the top of this page, then click the link under "Contact Us"

I have 2 ipads and my iphon on the same icloud account and it wont let me back it up cause i dont have enough space so I want to move my iphone over to a new icloud account i made with a new apple id but i dont want to delet the ipads off their account?

To migrate your phone to a new account, start by saving any photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll. If you are syncing notes with iCloud that you want to keep on the phone, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself so you can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud; your other devices won't be effected by this), provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone (if using iOS 7) and choose Keep on My iPhone when prompted . Then sign back in with your new Apple ID to create your new account and choose Merge to upload your data to the new account.

Trying to manage back up size of camera roll. I checked back up size (4 GB) then I deleted over 100 pictures and several videos. I ran back up again and

HT4108 I have a apple component AV TV out cable (red, green,blue + red,white) and have had this connected to TV for about 6 months working fine. I moved the TV disconnected cables to move now I can only get video and no sound back on TV. Any suggestions

Video does not play back FCP5

When I play back video, only audio plays back, and it shows the first frame of where i was playing back. When I stop it, the video jumps to the last frame that it passes.
Please Help!!!

What's the format?
If on an external device, is the format supported for real time playback?

Youtube videos are not playing back

Youtube videos are not playing back in Safari 5.1.7. I've also checked this in Firefox 16.0.2.
I am running OS 10.6.8.
Why is this happening? I need this capabilitiy for my work efforts.

I'm having similar problems to you all. Chrome and Firefox will play YT videos back perfectly. But for some reason certain users' entire channels that were working fine in Safari on Thhursday 1st Nov 2012 had stopped working by the next day! After upgrading Flash and resetting the cache etc it was a bit better but still some not working. I then downloaded the 6.0.2 update (again after a bit of aggro as some error message kept popping up, then after a while it worked ok). Now still some videos refuse to play in Safari. Latest FF browser seems OK and not too slow. I have always liked Safari though and am a bit annoyed that I've had to to make FF my default as it's a bit ugly. It may be a YT problem rather than Apple. Once upon a time in the hazy crazy days of Tiger and Leopard I had no Apple problems. Now lots of very minor but basic issues keep popping up!

Purchased videos do not play back in iTunes

When I try to play purchased (protected) content in iTunes 11.0.2 on my Macbook Pro, I get no video or audio playback, only a black screen. The time counter progresses, as though the video is playing. If the same content is streamed to my Apple TV from the Macbook via Airplay, both the video and audio play back with no issues. The same content plays without error on the iPad and iPhone. On the Macbook, the videos made from ripped DVDs or Blu-rays play without error. I have deauthorized and reauthorized the computer with no resulting change in behavior.
Any suggestions on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated!

I have modified the laptop in the following ways: upgraded to 8 GB (2x4GB) 1067 MHz DDR3 RAM; the optical drive has been removed and replaced with a 128 GB SSD (OWC Mercury Electra 3G SSD); the stock HDD has been replaced with a 640 GB Western Digital Scorpio Blue drive (WDC WD6400BEVT-00A0RT0).

Youtube videos wont show I hear audio but no video

I enherated this iMac I recently updated the software now videos wont show on youtube or on hulu I hear the audio but no video.

You probably need to update Flash Player.

You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):

and also that you follow the instructions closely, such as closing ALL applications first before installing. You must also carry out a permission repair after installing anything from Adobe.

Wont even start back up

My Macbook Pro is about one month old and has been freezing and restarting and then not starting back up and YOU name it. I have talked to applecare people, and now that hours are over decided to erase and reinstall. However, now the computer has shutdown during that and wont even go back to the install screen.
any advice?

Why video wont run by pressing space bar ?

Hi there,
Previously in Snow Leopard, when I went to a video filename and press space bar, the video will play.
But now in Mountain Lion (bcos I just bought the new slim iMac), the video wont play anymore when I press the spacebar.
But if I right click the filename and select "Play with" and choose Quick Time Player, it will play the video.
How do I make the video play straight away after pressing space bar ?

Pretty please could someone help me. I have only just updated my software, but all of my photos (phone and sd card) appear to be blank. And my videos wont play. Something like Videos cannot be played at this time'? I've noticed my WiFi and phone signal is awful now too.

Congrats on your first post, fed_upp. BTW, may we know the phone model you are using? When you say new update, are you referring to the Lumia Cyan or WP7.8 update? Have you already tried switching off/on your phone and re-inserting your memory card to check if there's any difference? About the phone's signal, are you able to see any changes when moving the phone in one place to another? For the Wi-Fi signal, are you unable to connect to any available Wi-Fi network?

I just "upgraded" from iPad4 to an iPad Air, now my videos wont play!
I Tested it on 2 iPad air's and my old iPad 4
they play perfectly on the iPad 4 from the native photos app
i tested it with old videos and shot some new footage but nothing plays on either ipad airs

I have the same problem, except it's iTunes that won't sync with my iPad. The thing is, iTunes isn't in the iCloud on/ off syncing list on both my iPad and my MacBook air for some reason.
