Video Wont play...cant find answer

I converted the video, loaded on iTunes, it plays on iTunes, loaded on my iPod, but when I click play it goes to a black screen for about 15 seconds, then goes back to the list of movies. No sound or anything plays.
It is listed as a movie, my TV ouput is off and Ive tried to reset the iPod. It is less then a week old too.

Sometimes something goes wrong while the video is converting. You just might want to try converting it again.

example for the Vindictus game, all the little flash videos of game play wont launch. Its a shock wave file I guess, and the problem is, I cant launch the game if the buttons dont appear!

Do you have problem on other sites with Flash?
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Pretty please could someone help me. I have only just updated my software, but all of my photos (phone and sd card) appear to be blank. And my videos wont play. Something like Videos cannot be played at this time'? I've noticed my WiFi and phone signal is awful now too.
Can anyone please help me retrieve my lost data?

Congrats on your first post, fed_upp. BTW, may we know the phone model you are using? When you say new update, are you referring to the Lumia Cyan or WP7.8 update? Have you already tried switching off/on your phone and re-inserting your memory card to check if there's any difference? About the phone's signal, are you able to see any changes when moving the phone in one place to another? For the Wi-Fi signal, are you unable to connect to any available Wi-Fi network?

I just "upgraded" from iPad4 to an iPad Air, now my videos wont play!
I Tested it on 2 iPad air's and my old iPad 4
they play perfectly on the iPad 4 from the native photos app
i tested it with old videos and shot some new footage but nothing plays on either ipad airs

I have the same problem, except it's iTunes that won't sync with my iPad. The thing is, iTunes isn't in the iCloud on/ off syncing list on both my iPad and my MacBook air for some reason.

Im an amateur boxer and one of my fights was videoed for me and put onto dvd, i then extracted it from the dvd and converted into a file using windows movie maker, but the file wont play through my itunes and therefore i cant put my fight on my phone ! I dont get a error message saying it cant be played or anything, it just doesnt come up ! When i click open with itunes, itunes will load and then just show my library ?! Any suggestions ? Thanks

80g video wont play through tv at all

i know this seems like an age old question...but considering im fairly tech savvy ive been puzzled as to why my ipod wont play music through my tv. i have a standard Y cable that works just fine when connected to my home theatre but will not play through my tv...at all, not just video. no music or anything. anyone know why?

Er, by Y cable, you mean a standard RCA to 3.5mm cable?
If yes, you'll need to plug each plug into the video (yellow) port and see which one carries the video signal. Apple switched around the signals for each cable, I think. Also, make sure the iPod is set to NTSC output in the Video settings screen.

Podcast videos wont play in latest itunes

I have the latest iTunes version for windows vista. I have been downloading podcast videos and it says done but then when I go to view it is no longer available as if I didnt ever download it and so it wont play. How do I download and view the podcast videos. The audios work just fine.

The video player mentioned in your opening remark is for a QT player, not a Flash, so for that you would not be using those Flash .swf files.

Also, you are using 2 different paths, one in the <object>:

You didn't mention what browser/s you have tested in and you didn't mention if you are testing the videos directly (click on mp4 file and open directly in QT) or if you tested in a browser locally before uploading to server.
Does the Browser you are testing in have a QuickTime pluggin? if not, the video will not display

HT4561 I have an iMac (2.66Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo) and recently updated to OSX10.6.8. At first things worked as before, but suddenly a bunch of applications are not working; including videos wont play in any browser, plus Skype and Logic Pro won't work

Recently updated to osx10.6.8. Was fine at first, but now have problems with various applications freezing/hanging.
These include Skype and Logic Pro.
In addition, cannot play videos (including YouTube and BBC) on Firefox (my usual browser), Safari or Chrome.
Application becomes frozen, and I eventually get an 'unresponsive script' message.
With Firefox I have tried clearing the cache. My Flash is upto date.
These are all the apps I use everyday, and this is driving me crazy. Can't seem to find answers on line. Very grateful for any help or advice.

What file format are you trying to play? Please be sure that the video file is the correct format and is compatible with the N8 playback (DivX/XviD/MP4/H.264/H.263/WMV player)
Your memory card must also be FAT32 format if it is not already.

my new i mac, thats 91 days old, wont play online video from the apple.com website. the audio plays, however the video continuously shows like its loading. I can get the video to play sometimes when i open it in the dashboard. however i am not able to close them, so now when i open dashboard they play all at once....what do i do??

Youtube videos wont play after using Quicktime (which changed my preferenaces) how to fix?

I played a video in Quicktime on my pc (against my better judgement). Quicktime went through my FF & changed everything to be played in QT, now online videos, specificallt Youtube, wont play in my FF browser (3.6.14).
I get sound but no picture.
What do i change back to fix this?I have changed everything to either WMP or VLC to try & get it to play with no luck so i must be missing something?

I had this problem and searched it and came up with a solution that works for me.
First, I only started having this problem for the last few days, this came after a multitude of updates from Adobe and Windows.
The videos would only play (though the sound kept playing) if I kept moving the mouse cursor over the video.
My solution, I went into Tools \ Options \ Advanced \ Network ... and simply cleared the Cache Web Content. I might have also deselected Override Automatic Cache Management ... but regardless, this is the solution that is still working for me.
I should also add that when FireFox gets flaky that's where I always go and that seems to solve any strangeness. Just passing this on.
EDIT ---- Just now I experienced the same thing. I obviously did not fix this issue. Sorry for this unnecessary post.
