How can i fix my videos and apps that keep on crashing evertime i open???

Have you tried resetting:
Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the
Home button for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
Next would be a restore from backup via iTunes
Last would be restore to factory new.

ssince I updated my iPhone 5s to ios8 ive had nothing but problems...
first the the screen rotation is not working... Checked the settings and lock is off.... The wifi is intermittent, some times it works sometimes it doesn't....
the he iPhone is really slow now, like really labouring.... It hangs and crashes all the time.... I have to close apps down completely because they won't work from quick launch anymore.... Even writing this the phone is labouring.... It's like my old 48k spectrum.... I don't expect this from Apple and when you spend £400-500 on a phone you expect it to work and play propperly.... come on Apple you need to sort out this mess of a update.... Ios 7 was no bother......

Same issue here... iphone5S 64GB. It's intermittent. Sometimes the rotation works fine, sometimes it doesn't, but most of the time it doesn't work.
The first time I figured out it wasn't working was when all newly-taken photos and videos were showing up in portrait mode though I always hold in landscape mode when photographing.
Rotation lock is disabled (tried toggling it on and off). Tried recalibrating the compass on a whim, no effect (although my compass seems to always require calibration when it's launched now).
This issue only started happening after upgrading to iOS8. I did a reset/restore through iTunes rather than an OTA upgrade.
UPDATE - power-cycling the phone seems to fix it temporarily.

Me second. I've had to drop back from the iPhone 5 to the iPhone 4 and man... it's slower than I could ever remember! I believe Apple is releasing another iOS update within the next week or earlier. Hope this upcoming update will address the slow performance issues!!!

Try:
- Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

"CleanMyMac" purports to "clean up" "junk" files. What it really does is to corrupt the operating system and many applications.
The first thing you need to do is remove that software according to the developer's instructions. Never install it, or anything like it, again. Then see below.
If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data, then reinstall the OS.* You don't need to erase the startup volume, and you won't need the backup unless something goes wrong. If the system was upgraded from an older version of OS X, you may need the Apple ID and password you used.
If you use FileVault 2, then before running the Installer you must launch Disk Utility and select the icon of the FileVault startup volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name.) It will be nested below another icon with the same name. Click the Unlock button in the toolbar and enter your login password when prompted. There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.

All my songs, app's, videos and pictures are gone in iTunes Help?

I wanted to sync some songs in my iPod touch 4G then I realized all my songs, app's, videos, and pictures are gone. Now I am unable to sync any songs, all my other songs are in my iPod touch and I am using a windows 7 computer. I have tried authorizing and deauthorizing my iTunes there's still no chance of hope. I am very worried about this please I require your help.

Last week I did not have this problem, but today I am having it again. Nothing has changed except that I updated the feed last night/early this morning. Is there any explanation why my episodes keep disappearing en masse from iTunes?

Netflix, HBO Go, ABC Tv app on my apple tv take a long time to download my videos and they are choppy, how can I resolve this issue? My apple TV is running off of WiFi in my apartment.

Netflix, HBO Go, ABC TV along with other apple TV apps, take a very long time to download the video and they are choppy when running. My apple TV runs off of WiFi in my apartment. When trying to download updates, it take a long time and then a video screen with "This Update was not Successful. Apple TV couldn't be downloaded at this time. Try again later." What can I do to resolve this issue? I purchased this apple TV in May 2013 new.

Since you are in an apartment the local wifi network is more prone to interference, try ethernet

I got my my ipad in June and it has never given me a problem. Now after the new update with IOS 4.2 all apps crash after opening, ipad randomly restarts. I have restored my ipad from beginning and also restore it from stratch. I do not know what to do now. can someone please give me and idea on what to do to fix this.

which apps are crashing? a lot of 3rd party developers haven't had a chance to update their apps yet. If you want to know if others are experiencing the same problem, go to iTunes app or iTunes store on desktop --> search for the app and then look at Reviews or Ratings section or whatever and see if other users are running into the same issues.

I've tried creating a new user on the machine and the crash still happens. Verify Disk in Disk Utility showed no problems. In desperation I even tried repairing disk permissions but, as expected, that didn't help.

So the problem isn't specific to non-Apple apps but almost all of the apps that don't crash are Apple apps. The only non-Apple app that doesn't crash is Gimp, which isn't even an OS X app.
Yesterday he installed iTunes 10.7 and Security Update 2012-004. He installed them at noon and everything worked for the rest of the day.

Well, I gave up and restored from a Time Machine backup from yesterday morning. Everything is working fine now. I am reinstalling iTunes 10.7 and Security Update 2012-004 to see what happens.

Try these:
1) Double-tap the home button and press an icon at the bottom until the minus sign appears. THen touch the minus sign on all the icons to kill the apps.
2) Then, press and hold the home and power buttons for 10 seconds, until the apple appears. Allow the ipad to restart.
If the problem persists, you may need to restore the ipad from within the computer's itunes program.

If it's happening on all the apps that you've downloaded from the App Store, but not the Apple built-in ones, then try downloading any free app from the store (as that appears to reset something) and then re-try them - the free app can then be deleted.
If it's happening on all apps then try closing them all completely and then see if they work when you re-open them : from the home screen (i.e.not with any app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of each app to close them, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Apps are crashing

Okay, since yesterday several of my applications keep crashing and I don't know why. At first it was just Quicktime 7, so I tried repairing permissions and nothing changed. I installed software updates, and now iTunes and iMovie are crashing as well. Also, when I say crashing I mean that as soon as I open them they crash, I can't do anything with them. I just tried Pages and it crashed too. I have tried repairing permissions, I reinstalled Snow Leopard and that didn't do anything either. (I think it reinstalled, it was at 45 minutes left and all of a sudden the computer restarted? I can't remember if that's normal) PLEASE HELP. I need these apps for school.

Videos and Apps don't play after 3.0 update

I just bought my ipod touch 3 days ago. worked fine the first day, even with the upgrade, but now it refuses to play videos and apps

Go here and download the manual for the iPod Touch : http://support.apple.com/manuals/
You are going to do a full reset to factory conditions and do not use the Touch's back up to restore. If you have a file error that will just put it back on the Touch so add the videos and apps from scratch.
If that won't work then take it to the Genius Bar at your nearest Apple store, make an appointment by email first so you won't have to wait.
If they can't fix it they'll replace it.

Video and app sound on mute

My apps, videos and internet are on mute when played straight from my iphone 4S. The sound is on when I play them through auxiliary cable. Does anyone know how can I turn on the sound so it plays without the aux cable?

After restore, itunes and app store crash on launching

I just restored my OS (latest 3.2) due to some problems. Now itunes and app store crash a few seconds after launching. If I'm not connected to internet then they don't crash (but of course they are useless)

What was the problem that caused you to restore? Maybe there is some corruption that is in the backup that is causing the problem. I would try restoring to as-new condition to see if the iPad works all right in that configuration and then determine how to proceed.
