Videos bought from istore don't transfer

I have bought some legitimate music videos and cartoons fron iStore. All show up and play in iTunes but some do not transfer across to the iPod - even manually?? Any ideas??

I have a slight variation on this problem. Some of my videos loaded into my iPod, but for other ones, an error comes up telling me to convert them. However, when I try to convert them, another error comes up. These videos show up in iTunes, but will not play. Does anyone have any suggestions?

  • Can't play the songs I bought from iStore

I can't play the songs I bought from iStore.
It complain about the autorization, but how much I try it seems like I can't get this computer to get authorized.
I login to iStore with my only login account, buy the song, and it gets downloaded. Then when I try to play the song, I asks me again about the authorization. I use the same accout login, and it reply that this computer is now authorized... again. But the songs stil can't be played.
If I click again on the song the same loop above repeats itself.
Frustrastion = I can't play the songs I have bought.
    Anyone?
    M.

I, also, have that authorization nonsense (I am the administrator, and only user of the computer). But, still, I cannot make any changes. You will have to report to someone at iTunes, if you try to play the downloaded songs from iTunes.
Which version, has it always been that way?
Also, did you change your username/password, if things were working fine, at one time?
I had your problem when I, originally, signed up with my AOL address. When I quite AOL, I got an Apple id, and I could not access my songs from AOL days for over three months. Eventually, someone at Apple helped me.

  • Itunes sound stops working after 20 mins on videos bought from iTunes store.

On every video i've bought from the iTunes store the sound cuts out after approx 20 mins. I'm on windows 8.0 (completely up-to-date with all drivers up-to-date too) with the latest iTunes (11.1.3.8) and Quicktime (with enhancements switched off). PC is a quad core i7 with 16GB of memory with windows running on an SSD and my iTunes content on another internal HD (not an SSD). iTunes library is approx 24000 songs and 30 videos. i'm watching on a full HD monitor with external speakers and the PC is authorised to play iTunes content.
I've worked my way through all the iTunes support items around video chopping (which was happening too - now fixed) and audio issues but nothing helps e.g. I've switched off iTunes match and home sharing, switched off any audio enhancements in iTunes and my sound card (which is a Via chipset on my motherboard), switched the bit rate to 16 bit/44.1k on windows and itunes, uninstalled and re-installed iTunes etc, etc.
I did have an Apple TV on my network but I've disconnected it in case the sound was being routed to it after a period of time. This hasn't made any difference.
Has anyone had this issue and managed to fix it?
    Thanks

Myself as well, have been having this same problem, around 20 minutes into any movie I open up in my itunes library, the sound stops playing.   I have yet to find any fix for the problem, although I have a thought that it is probably something to do with the buffering.  My songs play just fine, all day long, but any movie only plays for 20 minutes and then the sound goes out.   Additionally, I had another issue that kept popping up an error message everytime I tried to open Itunes, this was finally fixed via copy paste a corruptted (spelling) .dll file.  The only "workaround" for this issue, that I have found, is to open the movie in QuickTime, even though I am not really excited about the QuickTime player.  If anyone finds a better solution, please drop a line. thank you in advance.

  • How to transfer music to the cloud not bought from itunes, how to transfer music to the cloud not bought from itunes

how to transfer music from itunes to the cloud not bought on itunes

You cannot yet transfer music from your system to iCloud. That capability will come with iTunes Match, expected any day now though probably not initially in all countries. iTunes Match will also not be a free service.

  • HELP!?!?!?I cannot play Videos bought from theiTunes store on my iPod Touch

After syncing two movie and some shows to my iPod I was unable to play them. A message popped up and said Unable to Play Video. They were bought from the iTunes store. The video files that I did not download from iTunes work Perfectly . HOW DO I FIX THIS!?!??

I'm having the same problem. And looking through discussion topics, we are not alone. I can't play any of the TV shows that I've purchased and the most recent music I've downloaded looks and acts like it's playing, but I can't hear it. All work fine on my iPod video, but most of the reason I bought a Touch was to have a better way to see videos. I think this has all happened since I upgraded to 2.0.

  • I can't play music videos bought from iTunes

So I bought 3 videos from that triple play, 2 for 1 sale on itunes. I loaded all three videos unto my iphone via playlist because for some reason, they wouldn't sync even though the check mark for music videos is on. Anyway, so I transferred them over, but the videos don't play. It only plays sound, but no video. Am I missing something here? I thought I was able to play music videos on the iphone? That's the only reason why I bought those videos, I don't even have an actual video ipod...the only other ipod I have is my super old 3rd gen...any suggestions on how to get this working?

in iPod, what option are you selecting to play the music videos?
You should select Video. If you view by artist or playlist, then only the music will play.

  • Do you need Internet acess to watch a music video bought from iTunes

I want to buy a MUSIC VIDEO off of iTunes but I don't want to wait for our Internet to load it each time I want to watch it so if I buy one I want to make sure I can watch it no matter where and when is that possible. I would buy it off my iPod touch and load it right off the Internet.

When you buy it, then it is stored on your computer.  You do not need internet to acces it at all.

  • Downloaded songs from iStore don't work

I have downloaded an album paying with an itunes card. All songs are on my computer, but won't start. Other songs I have downloaded previously just work fine, but the new songs are being skipped when I click them. Any idea how to get them running? My Apple ID etc. seems to be ok, and I have payed for the songs, too. I can't download them again, because itunes says I already have them. I have also downloaded the songs to my iPod nano. Same thing here, the songs are there, but won't start.

Do you have QuickTime 7.0.3 or later?

Using airplay, with Iphone5 latest os, appletv3, I can play videos from youtube and internet just fine, but when I try to play videos bought from Itunes in my "videos" file, it only plays sound, no video.  Please advise,,,

I am also having this issue.  Hear but not see. I am using the iTunes video app on my iPad to play a show I bought on iTunes.   A little pop up box comes up on the lower left of my tv showing the show , I can hear it but not see it.  Rebooted Apple TV and iPad. No help.

  • I can't get my itouch and iPad to sync to transfer the videos that I bought from the iTunes store

I cannot get my iPad to sync from my iTouch.  I went to the setup and they said it would work when I got on my own wifi. Yeah right,  all of my videos purchased from iTunes are still on my itouch and not on iPad ?....

You can't sync from an iPod to an iPad (or vice versa). If the videos are not on your computer's iTunes then you can copy them from the iPod to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases (File > Devices > Transfer Purchases on iTunes 11) and you can then sync them from your computer to your iPad (depending upon what country that you are in then you might also be able to re-download them directly on the iPad via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app).

  • Videos from istore on videos app

Argh-How do I delete them? when i press and hold and the little X's appear, they only appear on a few. Then when i delete the ones with the X's, the pic is still there. When I try to move them to icloud the round circle just appears indefinitely. I'm sure there is an intuitive way to just entirely make the fact that I once, in desperation, downloaded stuff like the Faking It pilot, but I don't see how. Please advise. And I guess I should add, tho these came from istore, they are in the app simply titled 'videos.'

No answers here. I'm having the same problem. Have bought several TV shows and movies for my iPod that work fine on it, but play just as you described in iTunes and Quicktime(Pro). It is doing this on both my PCs. One is a Dell M1710 core 2 duo running Vista and the other is the same running XP Media Center. What's funny is my Zune software plays the unprotected content just fine but QT dropps about half the frames while the audio streams fine. My machines both have an NVidia GeForce Go 7900 GTX with 512 MB ram. I hope someone finds a solution. I've tried every setting and spent hours on forums looking for answers.

  • Songs Bought from Itunes on my new iPad won't transfer to iTunes.

I have a major problem. I have never been one to download music for free. I dont have a problem with other people that do it, its just a moral ethical thing for me as I am an author who sells digital property and wouldn't want someone stealing my books. Anywho, All of my music is bought from my iPad on iTunes.
Today, I went to back up my new iPad onto my PC and it kept comming up as "these songs couldnt be synced" or somthing to that effect. Which I just figured at first, it was a glitch. But then As it kept going, I realised it wasn't downloading ENTIRE boughten-on-itunes Albums, including one I just purchased, and two i purchased about a week ago. My friend just kept telling me it was because it was shared music, but it wasnt! All my music is bought off itunes!
To make matters even worse, When I checked my iPad, The music I bought was GONE! It's about 30 bucks worth too. I'm aware that I can just redownload it onto my iPad because it comes up as purchased under my account. But I really don't wanna have to do that every single time I sync my new iPad. Is there any way to fix this? or does anyone know whats going on? Does this happen to you? I don't honestly know what it could be.
    Thanks!

If your iPad is set up to sync normally with your iTunes library any purchases you make on the devce should automatically transfer to your iTunes library at the next sync. Alternatively you can set up both computer and device to automatically download any purchases made on other, even if you don't get around to syncing them for ages.
If for some reason the iPad doesn't really treat your iTunes library as its "home" library, and threatens to erase content when you bring the two together, then see Recovering your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.
