Videos don't play on iPod. Please help!!!
I'm not very computer savvy, but I have been recently downloading TV shows from iTunes and the last two episodes - downloads completed after installing iTunes update - will not play on the iPod. They sync to it, appear on the menu, and even play through iTunes, but nothing happens on the iPod. All episodes downloaded before the update work, and all current podcasts too.

Some videos don't play on iPod
Hello Folks
I've sorted out the pictures problem wit my classic.
But now the Videos, When i first loaded a bath of videos (Encoded with any video converter as .mp4) to my Classic 2009, they played fine on the ipod and itunes, yesterday tried to load another videos (encoded with E.M.C Total Video Converter) as mp4 extension.
All the videos play well on itunes. but those i tried to load yesterday yes they trasferred to ipod, I got no message like "cannot transfer to ipod", they transferred well.
When i clicked videos> and selected one of them, they played briefly for about 5 s. and then the menu returned back....
I tried resetting, restoring and no avail... so here's the info i gathered with MediaInfo

I suspect those videos that don't have the Base Media / Version 2 are the problematic ones, what i can do?

Every time I try to play a video (either downloaded from itunes or one that has been converted) itunes crashes, same happens when I attach my ipod.
Anyone noticed the itunes radio buffering every 15 seconds too?I have no problems with any other radio so know it is nothing to do with my broadband connection.
Would getting rid of the new version and installing an older one get rid of these problems?

My regular computer (which has i-tunes installed on it) is broken right now and I plugged my ipod into my temporary Chromebook to charge it. Now the ipod is telling me to Eject before disconnecting and I don't know how.

Click the eject icon next to the iPod in the Source list or choose Eject iPod from the Controls menu.

Hi, I have just bought another ipod, I have now a 60GB video ipod and a new 8GB ipod. Does it pose any problem when synchronising ? Can they have different names ? ThksYou can name your iPod whatever you like. If you are connecting a second iPod for your own use, just connect it to your computer and it will update from your existing library. Depending on the size of your library and the type of iPod you choose you can have it update the whole library, selected playlists or you can manage it manually.
When using a small capacity iPod like the Nano with a large library, you can choose the update option "automatically update selected playlists only" (called Sync Music - All songs and Playlists in iTunes 7). This would allow you to create a playlist specifically for your Nano and drag the tracks you want into it. If you tire of the list and want to change it, you just add or remove the songs you don't want. The ones you take out out remain in the library to be used by the other iPod. Make your playlist a Smart playlist and limit the size to just below the advertised capacity of your iPod Nano (around 3700MB for a 4GB or 1800MB for a 2GB). I've successfully imported the videos I've shot with my iphone5 into iphoto on my MacBookPro but they're only showing up as still shots, ie the imported videos don't play! Itunes no longer opens automatically when syncing, and when I open itunes it shows that there are zero "home movies" in there, meaning that it never grabbed the videos from my phone either. Meh, not that it matters anymore. I ended up redownloading 70-odd albums, so I have the bulk of my music back. And I still have no idea what iTunes did with my files, but I'll make sure it never does it again.

Videos don't play or only play audio in pptx 2010 but they do play in ppts2013
We have a PowerPoint presentation created in 2013. It has a number of YouTube videos embedded in it. When we view the presentation in PowerPoint 2010, the videos don't play at all and there is just a black screen OR only the audio plays
with a black screen OR the video ends mid stream and the audio continues.

We need to detail the quesion as below:
For the local video, (wmv, avi, flv) which is saved in PPT/PPTX data file, we just make sure that the host machine installed the proper video codec package and the video in PPT would play well.
For the online video/streaming video, it doesn't only depend on the host machine, but also network environment or video source(in this case, we say the video in YouTube).

Several problems continuous since first installing Firefox. Personal google search settings don't save; remember me options on web sites like Facebook aren't remembered; Youtube and Flixy videos don't play despite removing/reinstalling/upgrading Firefox several times; upgraded the latest flash plugin today, but no difference, symptoms are black play box with youtube and white box with Flixy. Disbale AV and antimalware makes no difference either.

i installed win 7 on my mac book, and the sound driver was installed successfully, but i don't hear any sound, please help
Is the volume muted? Click on the volume icon in the system tray to see if it shows as muted. If that's the case, I know of a workaround to fix this because if you unmute the speakers now, the condition will come back when you reboot your computer. I don't know the exact steps off the top of my head at the moment as I'm not in front of my machine. Check this first and reply if muting was the problem and I will detail the steps needed to fix the problem.

I know, I always do that but I was in a rush to get somewhere and I was relying on my thousand dollar Mac to do some kind of recovery or something. I know Microsoft always keeps temporary files (I think Mac does too, part of me asking here in this forum was for someone to tell me where I can find those files) and when you go to open Office Works then it gives you the option of opening the last recent documents, saved or not saved.
I usually copy paste into my emial just in case something goes wrong with the created document but I just didn't have the time to login and do all that My loss, you live and you learn, BUT still if ANYONE got any info on this, PLEASE DO CHIME IN *keeping the hope alive*
