Videos don't work after update

Hi, I have downloaded videos and they were working fine until I updated iTunes a few days ago. The video works but there is no sound. The sound on the music tracks is fine, it's just the videos that isn't working. I assume that has something to do with QuickTime. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes and Quick time but that hasn't belped either. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I was having this problem, seem to happen when waking computer, once finally connected network works great.
You need to edit your network preferences to order the network selection list. Goto this support page Using network locations (Mac OS X v10.6 and later) and edit your selection list.
I also created a "HOME" location and deleted all networks except wifi. Put MB to sleep woke and safari worked great. Still I re-ordered the networks under Automatic putting wifi at top, sequence is from top down. Don't forget to click Apply. Have fun

This works on my other pc, on which I did not update to 10.1 ...
(I produced this virtual tour; it is stored on the FTP server of the service provider I use for this)

N73 Video Don't Work After Upgrade

Help please, i updated my N73 OS from V3.0638.0.0.1 to V3.0704.1.0.1. Now the video don't work anymore, it can't playback what is shot! anybody have suggestions?
Also, N73 seem to be very slow, how can i possibly have it more responsive? Right now, there is an irritating lag whenver you go to the diff functions.
Help would really be appreciated.

If the lag presists after upgrading to version 3.x.05.x. try going to the camera settings and choosing to save on the PHONE MEMORY and try if it lags, IF NOT than memory card needs to be replaced with a faster one. If its still laggy then i don't know

I have some lists of videos and after upgrade my iphone 4 to IOS 6 they don't work.
In iphone that lists come empty.
I try made a new one but have same result. The list is empty.
On itunes that lists are OK, complete fill in.

Im on Vodafone South Africa, and ever since iOS6 I keep losing 3G connection. ALL my stuff runs off 3G contracts, which is costing me a fortune in SA, and now useless with iOS6. I've tried all the suggestions of settings resetting, APN resetting via unblock.nz, and still it's a nightmare.
HOW DO I RESET MY STUFF TO iOS5 ?

it likes the app start by flash only one and then comes nothing. the screen show the start display.

5800 expressmusic functions don't work after updat...

Hi!
I bought my 5800 expressmusic, and was glad for it, until i updated it first time. After the first update all the shortcuts and functoins on the background didn't work. I could live with that, so I waited for the next update.
Now i've updated it again, now the functions didn't work before, they work now, but now the musicplayer don't work probably. I can go into the musicplayer, but when i try to update the library and get the music from my SD card into the player like I used to do.. It only finds about 20 songs of 180 songs..
Anybody now how I can solve this problem?

it's usually good to do a reset after an update;
Soft reset (reformat). Type *#7370# and the phone's lock code (Nokia default lock code is 12345). Soft reset wipes the C drive.

Why Flash and videos don't work after 10.6.7 update?

After os update Flash, Shockwave and videos stopped working on Safari. Also Flash CS5, Flash Builder 4 and Flash Catalyst CS5 stopped working. An error message on Flash CS5 "Error initializing Java Runtime Environment. You may need to reinstall Flash." I have uninstalled and reinstalled stuff, fixed the HDD errors etc but so far no solution. Is this simply error in update software made by some tired engineer?

Ctrl and fn keyboard shortcuts don't work after update

After I updated today (list of updated packages below), all gnome keyboard shortcuts that use the ctrl or fn key stopped working completely. What could cause this? I've never had any problems with these keys in linux before and they all work out of the box, today is the first time I've had any issue.

EDIT: Seems to be a gnome bug, gnome 3.4 has this issue with the new xorg. Works with gnome 3.6 in gnome-unstable.

Video Chat stopped working after update

My video chat was just working a couple of weeks ago and now it won't work. The only thing that changed was I updated my system. I am running 10.5
I am getting error 4, no response from etc.
I used to get -8 but I solved that. Now what

I have already done the following:
1. turned off sharing (both sides)
2. turned off firewall (both sides)
3. Set QT streaming to 1.5 (both sides)
4. Ichat bandwidth to 500 (both Sides)
5. UPNP on my mom's side
6. Turned off router Firewall on my mom's side
I have a airport connected directly to the wall so I haven't done anything to my router. Video chat worked fine until I did my updates, Itunes, Quicktime, 10.5.5
I have read about repairing permissions but I don't know what that is.

Headphones don't work after update

My Inspiron 15 has no headphone jack so I plug the headphones into my external monitor. Since I did a Dell-recommended update today I can't get any sound through the headphones, only through the laptop speakers. Can anyone help?

You can test the jack by switching to the Windows native audio driver.
1. Open the Device Manager (type devmgmt.msc in the Windows search box).
2. Expand the "Sound, video & game controllers" and right click on "Realtek High Definition Audio".
3. Select to "Update Driver Software".
4. Click on "Browse my computer for driver software".
5. Click "Let me pick from a list of drivers on my computer".
6. Put a check in the box "Show compatible hardware" if not already checked.
7. In the list of devices, click "High Definition Audio Device" (the native driver).
8. Click "Next".
9. On the Update Driver Warning box, click "Yes" (install the driver).
10. Restart the laptop if prompted. If not prompted, then no need to restart.
[To get back to the Realtek driver, do it again but reverse the names in steps 2 and 7.]
If the jack works all right with the native driver, it means that the Realtek driver is buggy, which is not unheard of.
If it doesn't work with the native driver then most likely the jack needs to be replaced.

When I did updates last night about videos. Now non of my apps are working. When I click on them the screen blicks on and off. Everything else see fine.

- Last would be to restore you iPod to factory defaults/new iPod via iTunes since there may be corruption that is in your backup.

ThinkPad USB 3.0 Dock video monitor stopped working after updating NVIDIA software/drivers

My external video monitor had been working fine anytime I plugged my laptop into the ThinkPad USB 3.0 dock until yesterday, immediately following a suggested upgrade of my NVIDIA software/drivers.
NVIDIA information:
NVIDIA PhysX System Software 9.14.0702
NVIDIA GeForce Experience 2.1.3
NVIDIA Graphics Driver 344.11
I tried updating the docking station's firmware to V9.82, but mine was already at that revision.
Has anyone had this issue? Any solution out there?
I miss my 23" display!

HT4972 Applications Don't work after updating to iOS 5.1.1

I just updated my IPAD 2 to iOS 5.1.1. It took about two hours to download. After the operating system was installed Apple re-loaded all of my applications. Unfortunately virtually none of my applications works. Even books stored in iBooks will not open When I tap on and of the application icons all I get is the screen blinks for a second, but nothing opens. The problem exists on my Evernote, CNN, iBooks, Newsstand, Tulia, ,etc. applicaitons. Anyone have any idea what is going on and how I fix it?

Download any free apps to unfreeze the frozen apps. You can delete it when everything is working.
