Videos have picture but no audio... can someone help?

Everytime I convert one of my video files to put onto my iPOD it loses its sound, why is this happening and how can i fix it? Please help

Quicktime, Quicktime Pro and iTunes don't convert "muxed" ( muxed means multiplexed where the audio and video are stored on the same track) video files properly. It only plays the video and not the audio.

You need a 3rd party converter to convert the file with both audio and video.

Source window video won't play, only audio - can someone help?

First time on this forum. Using Pr CS4. After capturing DV clip and opening in the source window - if I click on the play button in the source window the video makes a movement like it is going to play but then freezes. The audio from the clip still plays. I can scrub the clip in the souce window just fine. Could it be that I don't have some of the playback settings selected correctly. I should note that I have already put the clip on the timeline.

Quarter rez is like built-in proxy editing, and works well here. Just follow the workflow guide for the latest version of the RED plug-in.
The new workflow guide says this:
Please note that the presets have been updated. For the new fractional resolution feature to be enabled, you must be using a preset from this release. Pre-existing timelines will need to be copy/pasted into a newly created sequence for the new decode options to become available.
Does that apply to you?
The latest version of the plug-in also has a "new" Source Settings dialog. Format/resolution are now done on-the-fly from the Program Monitor display settings. I include that info only on the off chance that you haven't noticed it yet.

What do you mean "Leave them my laptop again"? do you mean you have had it worked on before? for the same problem or a different one?
You need to take it in to Apple ASAP. No matter how long they have it, you want it fixed and fixed correctly.

Is it that you cant see the screen or you cant use the touchpanel??
If you have synced with itunes since you set that passcode you should be able to do an itunes backup which will save the photos even without entering the passcode.

THere's generally some type of default notification for a missed call - I'm not sure the point though, if you're not with your phone to hear it ring then how are you going to hear the missed call notification?

Hold down the Power button for 5-10 seconds until the computer shuts down. Restart. Report what state the computer is in at that time.

So when you go to  > About This Mac - How it should say how much ram there. Click on More Info - And click on Memory - What is in those fields?

5G Video iPOD stopped charging via USB: can someone help?

I bought 5G video iPOD last month. After about a month of charging via USB 2.0 port on WinXP desktop, iPOD no longer charges with USB port. If I connect it to desktop, it syncs songs and shows its charging but in fact it does not charge. As it can't sleep, its loosing power. If I hook it up in the night, its discharged in the morning.
I tried to charge it in the car (with car charger), iPOD charges fine. I have tried to change ports, tried different computer (laptop) and also sent iPOD for service, NOTHING HELPS!
I sent it for repair to Apple, but i got it back in 1 week saying its is perfect condition and no other details. (Very disappointed with Apple's lack of service)
Right now, I am stuck with iPOD not charging with any USB port. How do I solve this? Can the usb ports suddenly become low powered from high powered? Please advice.

I have added a ScrolltoTop.js to some pages, which works OK, but at the same time I have managed to destruct the functionality of Lightbox.

I know that the code should be validated, but the severe limitations of Excel make that an almost impossible task, when these large pages need to be refreshed almost weekly.

It is possible that the 3 javascript frameworks you are using are causing the problem as each one modifys the way javascript works in some way.
Using 2 different frameworks can often cause problems with effects, so using 3 frameworks will certainly have increase the chances of a conflict. Always try and use plug-ins that work with just one framework.
