Videos in DPS app not playing with iOS 8 upgrade

Hello,
We've made a DPS App with 14 videos in it and put it on the maximum number of test devices. When all of the devices were running iOS 7 everything was working fine, but devices that have been updated to iOS 8 won't play the video content (on both iPad minis and full size iPads). Please does anyone have any help or advice on what to do to remedy this. We've tried rebuild the App but its made no difference.

The strange thing is: the correct name is still available in the headline of the pdf file when opened. its only wrong in the overview...

Apple Music App not playing audio iOS 5

I updgraded my iPhone to iOS 5.0.1 and now my Music App isn't playing any of my songs. I can open the App and navigate fine, but when I press play it doesn't. I tried force quitting the app and even restarted the iPhone, but that still did not fix the issue.
Is anyone else experiencing the same thing?

My music is now playing agian, but the issue still exists let me explain.
I upgraded from an iPhone 4 to iPhone 4S.
I then restored my iPhone 4S with an iPhone 4 backup.I did this to get all my previous data etc..
The music from that backup did not "play"
I then synced new music to my iPhone 4S after reading "Radar103" comment.
Even though I synced new music it did not remove previous songs already on my iPhone.
All new songs play just fine except for music from original backup.
Here's the kicker. When I view my iPhone 4S music using iTunes I DO NOT see the songs from original backup. This is weird because when I navigate on my iPhone I can still select them.
I really don't want to restore my iPhone to start from scratch. Any suggestions?
My next step will be to call AppleCare.

Main purpose of puchasing ipad air2 was to airplay slowmotion video to big screen and i am quite disappointed with my purchsing ipad air 2.

As the original poster, I too had issues with my iPhone 4 (4.2.1) and Apple TV 2 playing nice. The Airplay icon was visible for music, and worked perfectly. However, when watching a video, purchased through iTunes, only the "audio" option would be selectable for Airplay. After updating the Apple TV software, everything works perfectly well. When watching a video on my iPhone and selecting the Airplay icon, one of the options is to play "video" through the Apple TV, not simply audio.
It would have been nice to know that my Apple TV needed an update when I updated my iPhone 4 to 4.2.1.

yeah. I noticed the same thing. now the splash screen comes on without the flashing green squares and just hangs. i tried unintalling and then reinstalling and still no go. kind of annoying but they will probably come out with an update pretty soon

I am not sure if you really understand the issue at hand. Possibly that you are just scanning, not reading the whole text, or simply that you just want to close a thread with your last words or derail it for whatever strange reason. So far you have been more destructive than helpful, but again this could be ignorance at best.
If you would have had the decency to read the entire thread you would have come to the conclusion that every manufacturer, I came across, has posted FAQ's to this issue but Apple. Find a short excerpt below:

DustinMedlam, I have the same exact problem. I started using my Iphone 4S for shooting video about 2 months ago and tranferred them to my Windows machine with Windows 7. I use the clips in Sony Vegas pro 11 and make short movies. I upgraded to ios 6 last week and every video that I shoot with my iphone 4S now is not usable in Quictime or Sony Vegas???? My old videos from before ios 6 play just fine and I can use them in Sony Vegas with no problems. The only way to play the files is with Windows media player. this does me no good as I just began making short films and now I can not use any of the video I have shot since ios 6. I also have a Samsung Galaxy S2 and I shoot video with it and use the clips in Sony Vegas with no issues!?? I can not believe this is not BLOWING up on the internet like the WIFI issue is..... What do we do? All my video gear is for my Iphone not my galaxy S2. This is very annoying. I also notice that no one from Apple response to these support forums. So why are they available?? The Mac has never needed "Full Screen". It has done multiple screen Extended Desktop since 1987.
Full screen is an iPhone feature, carried into this verion with the mult-touch gestures and other so-called "unifying" features.

Videos on Facebook are not playing

Videos on Facebook are not playing when I am connected to AirPort Extreme. They are working on LTE. Any advise? Please help

Yeah strange isnt it? I just tried it with my wife's 5C iOS 8.1.2 and it works perfectly and my lads iPad mini 3 is perfect too. It's just my iPhone 6,I have tried everything resetting network settings, hard reboot, remove/reinstall app, different updates of FB app. I am now leaning towards a full factory reset of i6 does anyone else have a clue as to why just the iPhone is affected?

It stopped working the other day. I tried everything but it wouldn't update new mail. The yahoo account itself is fine because I can see new mail on Yahoo or a yahoo app.
I tried deleting the account and putting it back on, but now it has 0 mail in any part of it. Nothing has synced.
What do I do?

A lot of people have been unable to access Yahoo e-mail on their iPhones or iPads. My wife’s iPad was not downloading Yahoo mail, although her iPhone was. Both used IOS 8.2. We tried deleting the account several times and troubleshooting all of the other settings. The problem appears to have been that allowing the IOS to automatically create the account on the iPad resulted in the wrong settings for the incoming server. The following procedure, pieced together from two websites, fixed the problem for us. So far, so good.

This helped overcome the crash problem, but (as reported before), I still have to start iTunes in Safe Mode in order to watch any videos. This has been the case since 10.5.
The regular mode behavior has changed a bit - instead of the progress bar moving to the end of the video, showing no video but playing the audio for about three seconds, it now leaves the progress bar where it is ... but the rest of the behavior hasn't changed.
Windows 7 Professional, 64 bit on an HP dv8t quad-core laptop w/ 8 GB RAM, running nVidia GeForce 230M with 1 GB video RAM.
Thanks for your prompt response to the original problem posted above. At least now I'm back where I started from before I upgraded to 10.7. Not optimal, but I've finally gotten used to doing a Ctrl-Shift-click to run iTunes.

My sister is having the same issue on iPhone 4. iTunes only loads the menu buttons at the bottom of the app with no content. I'm going to have her try the reset settings.
I will add that iTunes on my iMac seems to require a cookie from Safari to keep you logged in. I've never seen the same requirement on the phone but iBond's solution will work if you ever have an issue with iTunes log in on your computer.

Thom_d, you mean your 4s work smoothly? my 4s also 32gb look to be more laggy especially playing asphalt8, infinity blade2, etc... the graphic will stop for few second while you racing.. Are you sure you didn't encounter this kind of problem? About battery life, it only last for 5hours without 3g services(only using wifi). Pretty shock saw what you mention above.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync all music and videos and resync
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:
