Videos iphone sync

hi
i made some videos with the iphone 4.
I just synced the iphone with itunes.
But I cant find my videos on my mac.
where are they stored, or where can I find them.
I've checked the option sync videos in iTunes.
thanks in advance

Check your iTunes settings. Does iPhone have setting to sync only unplayed videos like can? Try that setting if so.

    Thank You!

Take a look at this -> Recovering your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device
Short version: iTunes will transfer the purchases made from the iTunes Store on your iPhoneh to your computer. It treats all other music and video syncing as a one-way street, to comply with copyright laws (wont sync stuff not purchased through iTunes from your iPhone to your computer).

  • Manually open iphone sync in itunes... HOW??

I have turned off the "auto-sync" option in iTunes, so that every time I plug in my iphone, it won't automatically sync, and it will allow me to sync manually at my discretion. When auto-sync is turned ON, iTunes starts automatically when the phone is plugged in, and it opens to the appropriate iphone sync screens, specifically the Summary tab. However, it doesn't work this way when auto-sync is turned off. Somehow, you have to open the sync screens in itunes manually. But.... HOW???
How do I get to that iphone Summary tab when I want to sync manually?? I plug my phone in, and I manually start iTunes, but I am not seeing any choices or options to open the iphone "Summary" tab. It is nowhere to be found!. I have navigated all over that program trying to find how to open the iphone sync screens, and I cannot find a way! Help!! Anybody....?

in iTunes clikc on the name of your device "john smiths iPhone" - should be listed on the left side of the screen where your library, purchased music, videos, playlists, etc. When you click it opens the iPhone's "info" tab and you can get there from there.

  • Iphone syncing and drag-and-drop hang

    Two problems:
    1. When syncing my iPhone 4s (IOS 7.0.3, Macbook Pro Mavericks OS X 10.9), it hangs on the last step "waiting for changes to be applied".
    2. Immediately after reinstallation of IOS 7.0.3, I can drag and drop music onto my iPhone from the iTunes library, but after a while the drag and drop fails. When this happens, the only way to get music onto the iPhone is by downloading it from the cloud - which is very expensive for me.
I had no problems with Mountain Lion and with the previous iPhone software. I have had this problem only since installing Mavericks and IOS 7 - which I did at the same time.
Come on Apple! If I want to deal with Microsoft problems, I would install Microsoft! I don't expect this kind of hassle with Apple!

Music purchased on your iPhone should be transferred to your iTunes library during the sync process with iTunes. Have you checked your iTunes music library for this music? In addition under Store in the iTunes source list, a store playlist should have been created named - Purchased On - the name of your iPhone. Was this not created?
BTW - movies/video cannot be purchased with an iPhone.
What are your settings for syncing music under the Music tab for your iPhone sync preferences? If you select to transfer more content than your iPhone can store, you should be provided an error message indicating the selected content cannot be stored and I believe a prompt such as do you want iTunes to make a random selection of what will be transferred.

  • IPod syncs fine, new iPhone syncs but only loads apps/no iTunes music?

My iPod syncs fine but when I connect my new iPhone, it doesn't upload any of the music in my iTunes library. It only loaded the one app I had in the apps section. Ipod loads music library fine. Just don't know why iPhone says sync is complete but doesn't upload any music?
    Help please.

Resolved by clearing videos from sync - apparently too large without notification of attempted sync.

  • Suggestion-Let us choose what videos to sync to devices

Why can you not choose exactly what music videos to sync to your iphone or other apple devices?  I just want a few videos on my iphone, NOT all 200 of them.
Is there a way to choose exactly what music videos to sync?
    Thank you for your assistance.

With your device selected on the left-hand side of iTunes, on the right-hand side on the Movies/films tab for the device you should be able to select which films/videos to sync to the device, you don't have to sync everything.

  • RE: How to get an Tones Tab on your iPhone Sync Screen

I made a ringtone. I got it saved in my tones tab on my itunes library, but when I attach my iphone there is tones tab there. Without the tones tab in the iphone sync area I cannot choose to sync the ringtone. How do I get a tones tab on my Iphone sync screen?

Sounds like there is something wrong with the rigntone since it won't properly import to the tones folder and when it was there earlier the Tones sync setting tab still wasn't visible.  I suggest you either re-make the ringtone or consider making it using iTunes rather than an app (as described here: Create free ringtones with iTunes 10 video - CNET TV).

  • Iphone sync missing info

I recently changed my Iphone 4 due to a damaged screen and backed it up before I returned it. However when I connected my new phone and backed it up loads of my personal data (photos etc) and purchased apps have not been installed.

Photos/videos in the Camera Roll are included with the iPhone's backup or should be. Although included with the iPhone's backup, photos/videos in the Camera Roll can and should be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera. Photos transferred from your computer, selected under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes should remain on your computer.
3rd party apps are not included with the iPhone's backup. All iTunes content on your iPhone - all music, movies, tv shows, and 3rd party apps should be in your iTunes library on your computer so there is no reason to include any iTunes content with the iPhone's backup.
Are all apps that were installed on your previous iPhone in your iTunes library? If so and Sync Apps is selected under the Apps tab for your iPhone sync preferences, are all apps that you want installed on your iPhone selected below?

  • Will photos in iCloud sync to my iPhone or will photos on my iPhone sync to iCloud?

My set up is I have all my photos on iCloud with full resolution photos and videos synced to my Macbook while optimized photos and videos are synced to my iPhone.
I saw the amount of photos and videos on my Macbook is missing some photos and videos when compared to my iPhone.  When I checked my iPhone, I noticed some videos didn't have a thumbnail but instead a white square.  When I tried to play the video, nothing plays even when I leave it sitting there for a long while.
After some searching around, an article said  the photo list was corrupted and if you delete 3 certain files on the iPhone, the photos list would rebuild itself.  I did that, and it did rebuild itself.
However, around half of my photos were gone.  I think it's because my iPhone was set to optimized so it only rebuilt with the full resolution photos left on my iPhone.
So, my question is, if my iPhone syncs with the photos on iCloud, would my iPhone download all my missing photos?  Or will my iCloud sync to my iPhone so my iCloud would also be missing half of my photos?

    Greetings,
What version of the MacOS is running on the PowerBook?
    Cheers.

  • How will iphone syncing work with multiple music library?

I switch between two different libraries on my MBP itunes because the large library points to lots more music on an ext HD. I want to keep the iPhone synced with ical, contacts etc on the MBP, but sync with different music/video content on different library. Is that possible to do?

You can only synch with ONE iTunes library

  • IPhone sync stuck at Step 5 of 5 waiting for the changes to be applied

iPhone sync stuck at Step 5 of 5 waiting for the changes to be applied

For me it was stuck. So with the iphone/pad etc plugged in I was having the failings at the last step.
I got it to work by unticking "Sync this ****** over wifi" and onnly ticking"manually manage music and videos"
Maybe it gets confussed and I thought I was managing it anyway.
Anyway - that worked for me, literally did the ticks. Off it goes, now adding 1500+ tunes

  • Intel and IPhone Sync issues

Some forwarded this to me. It might be relevant to some users here.

Intel has issued a comment concerning the iPhone sync issues some users are experiencing with certain PCs containing a specific Intel chipset. “Our leading theory is a BIOS or system configuration issue, but we are still investigating,” Intel said. The basic input/output system (BIOS) is the boot firmware run by a PC on startup, which identifies, tests, and initializes core system devices such as the graphics card, hard disk, and other hardware. As we reported earlier this week, the syncing issue appears to linked to Intel’s P55 Express chipset and its USB controller, which leaves the afflicted machines able to recognize the iPhone but unable to sync. The problem has been most prevalent among PCs running 64-bit Windows 7, but the issue has also been reported on machines running both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of both Windows 7 and Vista."

    Hi R@chel,
It sounds as if you are having difficulty making sure your iPhone only gets the music you want. In order to do this, you need to manually manage the data that gets synced to your iPhone. This article explains how to do so -

    Specifically -
    Syncing manually
If you prefer not to automatically sync content to your device, you can set up manual syncing:
Connect your device to your computer and open iTunes.
Click the Devices button in the upper-right corner. (If you're viewing the iTunes Store, click the Library button in the upper-right corner. The Devices button will appear.)
In the main iTunes browser window, select the Summary tab.
Select the option to Manually manage music and videos or Manually manage music. This will deselect the automatic sync settings for the Music, Movies, and TV Shows tabs.
    Click Apply.
    And -
After following the steps above, you can add individual songs, videos, and playlists from iTunes to your device. To add content to your device:
    Select your device.
    Click On this Device.
Choose Add to in the upper-right corner. If you drag a song, video, TV show, or movie while viewing the media in your iTunes library, a sidebar will show up on the right. You can drag your content onto the device. You can also create and modify playlists directly on the device.
