Videos not appearing in TV Shows in iPod...

When I add a video to iTunes and set it so it goes in the TV Shows section all works well.
However, when i drag it onto my iPod, it will not appear in TV Shows, infact, the TV Shows dosen't even say there's no videos there, but it just won't let me in to see it. When I put that same video in the 'Movies' section, it can play fine.
Why is this?

I had the same problem, but after I changed them to Movies and then back to TV shows it worked. Unfortunately, I had to do this manually with 12 episodes, but it may be worth downloading one of the many Apple scripts to do multiple shows.

  • TS5181 iTunes radio does not appear in "Music" on my iPod Touch, Why?

iTunes radio does not appear in "Music" on my iPod Touch. How can I fix this?

Ok, I have resolved this issue myself. I contacted Apple support but they had no clue.
The resolution is this, bring Siri up and say "radio". Radio comes up and you touch "now playing". Believe it or not the radio icon appears and remains.
I hope that helps other folk.

  • Movies and videos not appearing on iPhone.

I have an odd problem with movies (both those made by me and those purchased via iTunes) not appearing on my iPhone 3GS after syncing, even though they used to.
All of the options in iTunes are set correctly for syncing.
The strange thing is this: I can see the videos being transferred in the sync status bar in iTunes, but when I go into the iPod part of my iPhone and select Videos they are not there.
Also, if I delete the movies from iTunes, and then sync, the movies are actually copied back from the iPhone to my mac, even though they were not showing up on the phone.
Anyone have any ideas? I have selected and deselected every option I can think of and synced over and over again, but it makes no difference.
    Regards,
    Andy

Guys, I have finally solved my problem, and I hope this helps you too.
In the end my issue with the non-syncing of videos turned out to be due to the Restrictions settings. I had been experimenting with enabling the restrictions for various sorts of content so that my young daughters did not end up seeing, hearing or buying something that they ought not. This then stopped a number of videos from being seen on my iPhone, even though they were there.
So, if you have set any sort of restriction on your phone, check your settings : General > Restrictions > Allowed Content. It may be that this sorts out your some of your problems.
As a side issue, I am a a bit annoyed about this problem. Yes, I played around with the content restrictions, and then forgot about it, but maybe somehow, somewhere during or after a sync a message ought to pop up saying "You have enabled some content restrictions. Some of your audio or video content may not be available on this device"?
Anyway, hope this helps you all.

  • ITunes updates not appearing, even after showing all updates

iTunes regularly sends me to the App Store when a new version is available, but the App Store shows nothing.  I have selected "Show All Software Updates," I've managed hidden updates, and searched the App Store for iTunes.  But iTunes still does not appear and I cannot update iTunes.

Click the "iTunes" link at the top of this page and download the installer.

  • Video not appearing in Analytics

We are using Enterprise for a new client and we have embedded a video in some folios (and hope to have multiple videos in folios in the future).
However it does not appear in the Analytics under the Video content. Articles and ads appear perfectly. I assume we have to give it a title - but where do we set this?

    Thanks Himanshu,
We are in the middle of a launch so we don't want complication of a new app build at the moment.
Thanks for the explanation. It would be good if known issues with versions could be listed somewhere so we could check there first.
    Thanks

  • TS3719 Video not appearing in iMovie video

I have lot of video files on my iPad 4 video but they are not appearing through iMovie software.

iMovie can see video from the photos app.
It does not see or able to edit video from the movies app.
So are you saying that you can see the video in the photos app, but iMovie does not see them?

  • YouTube videos not appearing on Apple TV

    Reaching for straws here:
Using my Mac and the Safari browser, I signed onto YouTube and created a Lana Del Rey playlist containing 10 videos.  When I play this playlist on my Mac, all 10 videos appear and play.
When I click on the YouTube app on Apple TV and sign into my YouTube account, I can see my Lana Del Rey playlist.  But it only contains 4 of the 10 videos.  I've been trying to figure out why the other 6 videos do not appear.  Is it possible that YouTube allows certain videos to be played on a desktop computer, but not on Apple TV?
All my Mac and Apple TV software is up to date.  Thx

Not all videos are available outside of the website, no matter the platform. It could be due to copyright, or the user's decision.

  • Can't update to latest iTunes, ipod touch not appearing in current iTunes but iPod classic is.  HALP!

    Hi there.
This is driving me absolutely mad!
I am not completely computer illeterate but I don't want to go poking around in any registry files and things like that as I would most likely break the Universe if I did.
Basically, for some random reason a few months ago iTunes wanted me to download it's new version.  I said ok and it proceeded to do it's thing.  Then I heard the 'I'M BROKEN' sound that my laptop makes when something goes wrong or there is an error and it's saying that there is an error with something or other and it can't complete my request to update.
After that I have not been able to connect my ipod touch 4th gen.  At all.  To anything.  I've tried downloading alternatives to iTunes to see if I could work around things that way but it seems my ipod won't connect to them either.
I've fiddled around with USB's, buying new ones, going into my computer and poking around in there to see if I can do something, all to no avail.
Strange thing is, everything recognises my ipod classic.  Now yes, I could just use that but I want to use my touch! It cost enough, I might as well use it.  If I can't I'll sell it and I'll never buy anything from Apple again as it seems that if one thing goes wrong, there is no way around it.
I have scoured these boards for answers.  I have followed pretty much every single solution that Apple can give via the FAQ's and troubleshooting things.
I have also tried connecting my touch to a friends computer and it is recognised there so it's an itunes or laptop problem and not the ipod.  It still connects as a camera, my USB drivers are up to date.  I've tried deleting and then reinstalling itunes and that doesn't work as it WON'T INSTALL.
I was thinking that perhaps formatting my ipod might help but there is no point as it's not the ipod that is the problem.
If anyone wants me to screenshot the error message then I will be more than happy to do so.
I just really want some help!
Thanks to whoever reads this =D

  • "VIDEO NOT APPEARING ON IPOD"  my solution

OKAY...this was the same thing that happened to me and I figured out the problem...it might be the same for you all...when you plug your iPod into the usb and the iPod Updater screen appears through your iTunes account, go to the "TV Shows" tab at the top. MAKE SURE YOU SELECT "Sync ALL videos." It turns out that the videos that weren't appearing on my iPod were the ones that had been watched at least once. I had the "Sync ALL UNWATCHED" option selected, there for all of the episodes that were viewed on my computer were not synced onto my iPod. HOPE THIS HELPS!

My video appears on the list of TV shows on my ipod. But when I play it, nothing comes up. I tried synce and stuff. All that did was delete all my songs.

  • Videos Not Appearing in Disk Use Only Mode!

I wanted to watch movies on my 5th generation iPod so I converted the movie file to a MP4 File and pasted it to the drive. It won't show up in the videos on my iPod though! Help!

That won't work. You need to add the video file to your iTunes library and then transfer it, using iTunes to you iPod. The iPod interface does not recognize files you move to your iPod while in disc mode (well, except for notes).
    I have simplified a bit.

  • Thumbnails for HD videos not appearing in Photoshop Organizer

How do I get thumbnails to appear in .mts (Canon HD) videos in Photoshop Organizer (bundled with Photoshop / Premiere 8?

    Hello A.T. Ramano,
First and foremost I would like to take you in advance for any and all help.  I will try to answer your question to the best of my abilities but please remember I'm not all that technically savvy in these matters.
    1.     Elements Organizer is version 8.0.  Premiere Elements is version 8.0.  I've tried to down load the update but get a message that is already installed.  Not to sure what you ment by sourse, unless you're wanting to know that Premiere was installed via DVD disks.
    2.     File extension for HD video files is (.mts).
    3.     The camera is a Canon Vixia HF S20.
    4.     I'm not sure where to look for compression levels.  Video quality is set at the highest level on the camera (MXP).
    5.     Thumbnails show up in the Premiere elements organizer (sometimes), but never in the Elements Organizer.
    6.     Haven't tried downloading the trial version of Premiere 9.0, that's next.  If that doesn't work was thinking about uninstalling Premiere 8.0 and re-installing it.
    7.     QuickTime Player is version 7.6.9.
    8.     Windows Media Player is version 11.0.6002.18311.
    9.     Pixela Image Mixer 3SE player is version 6.0.1.  Tried to update all three players and received a message that players were up to date.
    10.   Video is shot in 16:9 mode, Super Fine / 1920x1080, Cinema Mode progressive frame rate of (PF24).
    11.   Computer is a Dell Studio XPS laptop, Intel Core 2 Duo CPU P8600 @ 2.40 GHz, 4.0 GB of ram, Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit operating system service pack 2, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670 video card with 1GB of on board ram.
If there is other information you require, please don't hesitate to ask,  Thank you again for your help.
    Sincerely,
    Mike

  • Home video not appearing in Videos/Movies after syncing with first generation iPad.

Why is my home video in Shared Libraries but not Movies after syncing with first generation iPad?  It appears in Movies on iPad2 and iPad3.  I've already changed Media Kind to "Movie."  I didn't have this problem 1 month ago when syncing a new video.  Is there a software update issue?  iPad says software is up-to-date.

The video app has 4 tabs across the top.  If they are not hiding  in one of the  tabs, i suspect they are missing the type identifier and the app doesnt know where to show them.  Glas that at least you can find them.
Next time you sync, take a look in i tunes, and see if they are fully labeled there.  I would not be surprised if one the i tunes fields is the key for the pad video app to know which tab to put the, under.

  • Not all album artwork showing on ipod touch (4th gen)?

A while back, I added some of my own artwork to some songs I downloaded to my library. At some point after that some of the album art disappeared when I was viewing the album list on my ipod (4th gen with iOS 6.1.6), and only then - artwork remained for songs and when looking in the album itself. The missing artwork seems to be at random although albums I recently bought (last few months) still have their artwork. I have restarted my ipod many times since the problem occurred, with no effect.
