I've already complained about this. But they'll need here this from multiple people to make a change. If not enough people complain, they assume no one cares, and list view (like lyrics) will dissappear forever.

Hi,
You have the choice between xml or pdf, in later versions of designer you can choose with a dropdown on the email button Object palette, the "Submit As";
In earlier version you had to edit the XML Source and change the format from xml to pdf (or vice-versa);

Perform a search, click on the List View icon in the Finder window's toolbar, press COMMAND-J to open the View Options dialog, check the box labeled "Always open in list view."

Slideshow thubnails won't accept anything else apart from images. Slideshows only accept images. Use compositions if you wish to insert text etc.

Attach to Email - Can we create HTML format rather than plain text

We need to send invoices & receipts to customers. Our accounting app produces a PDF. We then use the toolbar button (or File|Attach to email).
Our email client is MS Outlook.
Is there a way to create an HTML format email (so we can use our signature and get our branding out there) rather than the plain text email which is produced currently.

How to get GML data in LAT/LONG format rather than LONG/LAT format

I want to generate GML from my spatial data but sdo_util.to_Gmlgeometry extracts data in LONG/LAT format where as I need it in LAT/LONG format.
Is there an easy way to extract data in LAT/LONG format otehr than parsing the gml and then switching the Lat and long.

I think it would have to do how you store your geometries, you might need a transformation before, notice the srsName from the resulting query:

My iPhone isn't directing me properly to messages since I moved to the UK from Canada. When I receive a new iMessage it opens a 'new message' thread to their number in a UK format rather than directing me to the established thread under their name.

I moved to the UK a week ago and popped a new SIM in my unlocked iPhone 4 (all the latest software installed, 6.1.3, though I see in the drop-down below that there's a .4? My phone says it is up to date anyway). Since then, I have done a lot of texting to people back home in Canada. Of course, for economical reasons, I am using iMessage. When I'm talking to them, if I have messages open, and my screen hasn't gone to sleep, then I'm fine. But if the screen goes to sleep or I'm doing something else and I try to reply by way of any sort of notification where the phone redirects me to the message (when I tap a banner or unlock while an alert is showing), instead of sending me to where I can reply, it starts a whole new text message with the person's phone number in a UK format instead of their contact name. Their message is in the iMessage conversation history where it belongs, but I can't read it in full until I cancel the 'New Message' and open their conversation in the Messages list.
So far, I have tried:
-Simple things like restarting my phone, resetting it, etc.
-Changing the format of their number to include country code, to not include country code, to have the plus, to not have it, etc.
-Changing where my messages come from, be it my phone number or my iCloud, etc.
-Updating iCloud to make sure it knows I'm in the UK.
-Resetting everything in the reset menu one at a time (I had hopes for settings and the Location & Privacy ones, but no).
-Erasing all content and settings and restoring my phone from a backup.
I've pretty much messed with every setting, but please let me know any suggestions you have, I may have missed one.
It does seem as if the format of my contacts has something to do with it, because I don't get a notification at all if I change the setting "Show iMessage Alerts From" to contacts only. The iMessage goes through to the iMessage conversation, but the alerts I get seem to think it's a text message as it comes through with a sample of the message in the alert under their phone number. It's only when I try to reply through an alert that it screws up. I know this may seem small but it's driving me nuts, especially because I don't memorize people's phone numbers anymore so I don't know who sent the message until I exit the new message and look it up!
Please help me before I go mad!

If you have iOS7 on your device it has the ability to mass delete. If you have 6 or lower then there is no way do to bulk deletes on your iPad.

Video files show as 4:3 rather than 16:9

I am a complete novice with video editing and have just bought premiere elements to create DVDs with my new camera!
It's a Panasonic SDR-H20, non HD, mpeg 2. I 'get media' via USB2 and AVCHD, DV capture, D1/DV PAL Widescreen 16:9, 720 x 576,
but it comes through as 4:3. I can set titles, etc, and burn DVD ok but can't figure out the aspect ratio problem. I have tried Ulead 6 in the past

If the Project Presets are correct for the footage, and the Capture is via PE, and there is still a problem, you might wish to check your camera's settings. There could actually be two: one for the capture, and another for the Export/transfer.
As there are several variations on "widescreen," it might also help to know exactly how your camera handles that. This would be info in the manual, as I doubt that the Web site would go into enough detail to define what the mfgr. means by "widescreen" with a particular camera. Unfortunately, too many mfgr's. use different terms for different things. Same with 24p and 24pa. Depending on the camera, you could get one of several true frame rates.

Email notifications begin sent in text format rather than html format

I have encountered a strange issue wherein i get email notifications in text format with all html code in the email(trying to open wf emails in netscape navigator)...but for all others the emails are begin sent in correct and decent HTML format......is there any prefernce that has to be set up in local mail client for me to receive email notifications in HTML format.

Open the message and see if there are contents in HTML body.
If you need the message in HTML format, make sure the correct HTML tags are in place in HTML Body.
If you do not need the message in HTML format, make sure the HTML Body is empty.

Not directly, as far as I can tell.
You could create a new list, "Completed List", or something, then select all the reminders from the usual "Completed" list, copy (command-c) then paste (command-v) into "Completed List".

How can I save an imported video in Premier to the program, rather than hooking up the video camera?

I'd like to save the project onto my computer so that the video camera does not have to be present as the souurce for the data. I'd like to save the data to my computer, preferably within Premier Pro.
