Videos only loading partially?

I use both Chrome and IE 8, and they have been working fine for me up until now. However for the past few days, whenever I've tried to watch a video on sites such as youtube, etc., they've loaded about between 15-60% and will not load any further. The loaded portion of the video will play just fine, but I have yet to see one load all the way through on it's own and successfully play, even after refreshing the page numerous times. After refreshing that page, the video usually loads more that the previous, but never all the way through. Any suggestions as to what might be going on and how to fix this issue?

Hello! I had the exact same problem.
Did you check recently your free space avaibility on your hard drive, where your operating system/web browser is installed? Maybe you ran out of free disk space, so there is no space for your cache to load your video into as well.
If that's the problem, the solution is easy. Just make some free space on your hard drive by deleting/moving items from the used space.

Files only load partially

In PS CS6 (trial version for windows - I use windows 7) ordinary photo files only load partially. Huge pixel blocks seem te be absent. Only after a second attempt they load as should be.
My hardware is rather up to date (6 GB work memory); I 've never had this problem in CS 5.

Only loading partial web site

Recently, my mac will only load part of a web page or site. It seems like it is not staying connected long enough. What 's up? Nothing has changed here that I can tell. My wifi signal is weak but that has not been a problem until now.

Issue w movie only loading partially in certain Browser/Player Configurations

I have a multi SWF movie that uses AS2 and is behaving differently in different browsers.
The basic scenario is this . There is a root movie that acts as a control panel for user input.
1. It loads then parses some xml to determine how the interface should look (what images, radio buttons, etc. to display)
2. Then it loads and positions items on the stage ( rbs, thumbnails)
3. It loads child swfs
When the issue occurs step 2 is only partially completed and step 3 doesn't occur. No message about script error appears.
I've been getting different reports from testers -
Tester 1
PC Plaver Version - 10.3

2.       Internet Explorer 8 PC - no issue

The only consistency seems to be IE and possibly the player version.

Thanks for the response but I'm not sure that's the right track -
I have more info then my when I made the original post
I am thinking that it may be a Player issue.
1. Testers using the same connections in different browsers are getting different results.
2. I am Tester 2 from above. I am testing from 2 machines that share the same connection. See corrected stats below.
Tester 2 -inital settings
PC Player version -   different player in each browser
1.       Firefox 8.0 on PC   version 10 - no issue
2.       Internet Explorer 8 PC - issue
MAC Plaver Version - 11.1
3.       Safari Mac - no issue
4.     Chrome - no issue
When I updated FF on the PC to Player version 11. I started getting the issue.
4. The load seems to fail when the app tries to process radio button components ( It assigns values and x, y coords to them)
When I remove the code that processes these the app runs
Any thoughts ?

YouTube problem as of OS 3.0 - Videos only load about 1 minute and stop

Hello.
This is happening on my iPhone 3G S on WiFi (doesn't happen on 3G).
I just wanted to see if others were having the same issue. On YouTube (WiFi only) when I open a movie that is 3+ minutes long YouTube will begin loading the video and start playing and if you watch the play bar at the top it will show it keeps loading ahead as it plays up until about 1:20~1:30 or so and then it stops loading any video.
Once the phone plays all of the video up until 1:20~1:30 where it quit loading YouTube then pauses as though it's waiting for more data to download but it doesn't do anything. I have to exit out of YouTube and go back into the video, drag the time selection forward to that point, and hit play for it to begin playing from that point and then it only plays out for another minute to minute and a half before I do it again.
I never had this problem with my old iPhone 3G but I've not tested this on the 3G yet as my girlfriend currently has it. If you would please test a long (higher quality) YouTube video 8+ minutes on your iPhone and post back if you have the same issue or not.

I've found this issue is a Wifi issue with the 3.0 software more than an issue with YouTube. Oh well I guess we wait for an update.

Windows 7 only loading partial iCloud contents

My computer, running Windows 7, will only show 32/522 photos from my photo stream. How can I get every photo to load to my computer? I have tried logging out through the control panel, then restarting and logging back in and it still shows the same 32 pictures and will not load more.

Go to my computer and look for the DVD drive letter and verify that you can see the disk there. Then right click on the DVD drive, choose explore, then you want to look for the .exe file (you may have to open a folder? can't remember). when you find the .exe file you want to right click on it and choose run as administrator. Ensure you are hooked up to the internet and also turn off any anti-virus software.
Make sure, after the install, that before you run the software itself, to right click on the CS2 .exe and run that as administrator. Also don't forget to update the software and ensure you video card drivers are up to date too.

Location map: only loads partially. Where is the error ?

When I load the location map, either for identifying a new location for my photos or just to view the locations, I only see a part of the map. I see most of Europe but not North Africa, the Middle East etc. I do see the dots marking the location but not the underlying map. I use an imac with OSX.

I am a novice so bear with me. When I sync my touch it does not seem to download the songs onto the itouch since they are in the cloud? Anyway it only loads partially and will only play if I have wi fi. help

Bought a itouch and tried to sync, but the songs that I allowed to go into the cloud will not go onto the itouch. I can only play them if there is wifi, which is a problem.

Appstore loads partially!

My Appstore in my iPhone 3GS only loads partially. The 'categories' section cannot load. While the 'features, top 25 and search' can load. Why is this so? I restart the phone but the problem persists.

Only part of a Y/T video will load; NRK (Norway) streaming video won't start at all.

When watching a YouTube video, the download works for a minute or so, then halts. Once the playing reaches the limit it pauses as if waiting for buffering. It never resumes playing.
With streaming video, for example from NRK:

you can use the seek method to start play from cp x. unless you're using a streaming server likefms or redhat, you must wait until the video has loaded up to cp x.
you can use a cp listener to check when cp y has been reached.
you can control the seekbar if you make your own. ie, you can't use the flvplayback seekbar.

Import of avi only loads part of whole video

I am importing a large avi file into After Effects. It is 50 minutes long. When I import it into after effects, it only loads 32 seconds of it. I've tried renaming the file, reloading the program, but it still will only load that small portion of it.

Thank you for your response, Rick! The info in the project window only shows 34 seconds, and when I pull it into a composition, it remains 34 seconds. The original file was taken using a web camera on a gateway using their software and is 57 minutes long. The web cam is 1.3m HD, but I can't find any other specs in the program, like what frame rate it is recording at, only the dimensions of 640x480. It was loaded raw onto the computer and is a terrifying 60 GB, which is another reason I am trying to trim and compress it using after effects.
I just tried a cop out and loaded it into windows movie maker and it read the file without problem, so I can render it out of there as an mpeg or other file and load that into AE after.

My deskjet 9800 only prints partial pages in 11x17" format. then pulls another paper for two inches of printing then pulls another paper for another two inches of printing etc. Other sizes work fine. I just upgraded my computer and changed cable to a usb port. I downloaded a new driver and reset all the settings. I am lost as what to do. thank you Einer Mortensen

I would like to assist you today with resolving this wireless printing issue. Because you are able to scan without issues, and are able to print from other devices perfectly fine I do not believe that this is a networking issue, or a software and driver conflict between your Windows computer and your printer. Rather, I believe that there is a wireless printing port (WSD Port) conflict occuring on your computer. Can I please have you follow the steps below to resolve this issue. Microsoft has released a Hotfix to correct printing issues within the Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 Operating Systems. This includes 'Partial Printing' and 'Printer Offline' issues. The printing issues appear to affect networked printers regardless of make or model and is a conflict with the WSD Network Port on Windows 8.1. Please click here to download and run a Microsoft Fix It Tool. Once the website opens for the Hotfix please click the button for 'Hotfix Download Available'. Please follow the onscreen prompts to install the Hotfix. Once the Hotfix has been loaded please test wireless printing again. If printing fails you may need to restart your computer for the Hotfix to take affect. Once your computer comes ON test wireless printing to confirm that the issue has been resolved.

Slow Youtube videos and loading web pages - Tests ...

Hello. I've been having this problem for over a week now. Whenever I try to watch a Youtube video or load a web page it is incredibly slow and most of the time they don't even load. I've phoned up customer service 4-5 times and had several online chat sessions but no one has been able to resolve my problem. It is quite strange as all the speedtests I run show that I'm getting 19-20Mb/s, but I can hardly even load a 144p Youtube video.
I will say that it is not always like this, sometimes throughout the day everything will run fine but mostly it's incredibly slow, especially the Youtube videos.
I really hope that someone here can help me solve my issue as I feel like I've tried everything.

Embedded video not loading?

I seem to be having a problem with embedded video not loading.
For example: In Youtube if a video is embedded in a larger screen (example: http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCY30JRSgfhYXA6i6xX1erWg) it will not load but if I load the video in its own page (example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_profilepage&v=bLT0z60vBl4) it will work perfectly fine.
The issue comes when there are videos that don't have the option to load in a full screen (example: http://www.cbc.ca/thenational/watch/).
I have the latest version, have hardware acceleration unchecked, this happens with all browsers (IE, FF, Chrome), have deleted cookies... what else can I do?

Then it HAS to be something outside of Flash Player and the browsers, because:
IE usues a proprietary plug-in - ActiveX, which is ONLY for IE amd functions independently of the others
Firefox uses the standard plug-in, which neither IE nor Chrome use, unless you specifically disable Chrome's proprietary plug-in
Chrome uses its own proprietary plug-in called "PepperFlash" which not only functions independently of the other two, it's a different format (PPAPI vs NPAPI)
The odds that all three different plug-ins (in two different formats, no less) have the exact same problem with one situation (viewing embedded YouTube video in another page)... are astronomical.
