Videos stop playing after about 2 minutes on ITunes

Hello! Sorry, if I have missed an answer to the same question. I have recently upgraded to ITunes 7.5.0.20 and found out that any video purchased through ITunes stop playing in about 2 minutes. While ITunes show the video is still running, there is no picture (and no sound) on the computer with the last picture frozen. There is no problem in playing the same videos on Ipod so far. The problem appeared only after I have upgraded ITunes and does not go away while I have tried to re-install ITunes a number of times. No problem with the video files converted and transferred to ITunes. Would appreciate any hint or solution. Michael

It's an internal problem with the hardware/software with computers running windows. The only solutions is to copy your videos to an external harddrive, and play them from there. If you do so they will play normally. There has not been a "fix" from itunes yet, so that's the only way to watch them (for now).

Certain songs in my iTunes library stop playing near the end and there is only silence. It doesn't happen with every song so I can't predict which ones will behave this way. Any ideas?

I'm having this exact problem now with an iPhone 4 (not the 4S) and running software 6.1.3 with iTunes version 11.0.4.4. - The songs play fine in iTunes. In some instances I brought in the songs from CDs, in other instances I purchased from the iTunes store meaning I can't simply convert them. In either way they play silence on my iPhone around halfway through and for the remainder of the track.
I have attempted a full restore from a backup, and then reloaded all of my music, same songs, same problem. I don't feel a manual restore would help because that means reprogramming every single app, and the music would be reloaded the same way so what difference could that make?
Just to add insult to injury my protection plan ran out about 2 weeks ago and my phone otherwise works fine, so this can't possibly be worth purchasing another pricey plan just to be allowed to TALK to Apple.

Videos stop playing after about 25%. Will load completely but

Also running Chrome but have had same results on IE64 and IE32 bit. Seems to be a growing problem from what I've been reading but haven't found any solution as of yet. Any help?

Music with slide show stops playing after about a minute

Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the broken files from your iTunes library, go to the iTunes Store home page, click on the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
If you don't see them straight away it may help to close and restart iTunes.
While downloading select Downloads in the left-hand column and make sure Allow Simultaneous Downloads is unticked.
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

No there is no particular limit, especially one as short as 4 minutes in the Flash player or a Web page in general.
The video file may have been corrupted before or during upload to server.
Test the original video file on your local machine, does it play the entire length? is so, notice the file size.
Compare that size to the file size of the video on the server... if they are the same, you might want to re-upload anyway.
Your video file will also have a web address that specifies exactly where it is located on your server. Do a direct download and test the file to see if it is courrupt.
It will have an address something like this:
http://www.cidigitalmedia.com/chris_test/tombstone/video1.flv
So download your file directly from the server and play on your local machine to see if it's longer than 4 min.
Could it be that your Web host only allows certain size files (no videos over 4 min for example)?

The "Tools" are in the old drop down menu, which are not shown by default in the new Firefox Design. To show this menu:
Firefox Menu > Customize
On the bottom left there will be Show/Hide Toolbars. The Menu will be listed here.

If you have lost all sound and video is freezing on you, that ain't good. Your iPad is two months old so I would not hesitate to contact Apple at all. You are entitled to 90 days of phone support.

If you want to try a couple of things on your own, try quitting all apps and then reboot the iPad - not so much for the sound issue itself - but more as a general "start all over again" sort of approach. It might help with the video freezes.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Reboot the iPad.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
If you use headphones on occasion, you can try plugging and unplugging those as well and see if the sound comes back.
You could even try restoring the iPad to factory settings and then restore from a backup, but unless there is something totally hosed on the iPad, that should not be necessary with a two month old device - of course assuming that you didn't drop the iPad or do something accidental that could be causing the problems.

Mac Pro / Mountain Lion 10.8.2 / Flash 11.4 - YouTube videos stop playing after 11 secs. Only just started happening last week - around time when I installed latest Lion upgrade but this may be a red herring. Tried uninstalling Flash and reinstalling with no change. Checked/emptied cache.

There are several topics with similar symptoms, but I don't think anybody has found an answer yet, as it only occurs on some few systems.
What I would try if I encountered the same problem:

I have downloaded The Final by Wham (Deluxe edition) and most of the Videos only Play for about 2 minutes then freeze

I am new to iphone and have just bought Wham The Final (deluxe edition) which includes all there videos.
When i go to play the videos they play for about 2 minutes then they just freeze. Club tropicana does not even play at all.
I have other video purchases which all play fine.
Is there anywhere in itunes where you can re-download?

It's probably the new 'taste filter' trying to keep you from emberrasing yourself in public. Try playing them when you're alone. If it detects no one else is in the room, it may allow you to view them.
Seriously... Do they play in iTunes on your computer? If they're in your iTunes library, un-sync them from the phone, then sync them back.

After Sept 2014 update Radio stops playing after 4 - 10 minutes. Before update, Apple TV played Radio without problems.
Apple, please provide a reliable means to roll back to previous state.
Please DO NOT release another update, as you will break something else.

Same issues here. Since iOS 8 my Apple TV 3 powers itself down mid airplay, restarts itself, and once off has to be turned by on by it's actual remote. Once it randomly shuts down the Airplay option on all devices is removed and I have to find the remote and click any button to power it back up again. Then it can play for hours or ten minutes and it will just power itself right back off.
Increasing the sleep timer to 30min from 15min seems to have helped space out the power downs some, but it still seems very random.
