Videos won't work on my ipod... Tried different converters and restoring it
I've restored my ipod to factory settings a hundred times and i've tried different video converters like xillisoft and videora and they all work but when I play the video it will work for a minute or so then it will stop for a few seconds. Usually when the video resumes there is no sound. If i fast forward then rewind back to same spot it usally fixes the problem but it will just happen again every 45 seconds or so. What the heck is wrong with my ipod.

Now for converting that ripped dvd(or jsut a video file).
You will first need videora. http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/iPod/
With videora, there are a few setting you have to change that may effect the conversion process. Here's a guide on converting a ripped dvd/video file to ipod compatible.

My app store won't work on my iPod Touch 4gen running on ios 6.1.5 and when I open app store it says "cannot connect to iTunes Store" i shut my ipod down and turned it back on but it still dosn't work but it will open on my Mac Book Air. My ipod touch is stuck up at Apple Logo, I have tried to update and restore through ITunes but no use, It stuck up again at Apple Logo with no Error, after restoring ITunes showes your ipod is restore but still apple logo won't go, Due to new Laptop, I do not have any backup, therefore i have tried to select new Ipod touch and goes through step by step procedure but no use, Please help what to do?
i tried reseting my ipod today and had a similar problem... it wont be recognized by itunes, the only thing i havent tried is putting it into DFU mode, or the state that it is in when u recieve it telling u to connect it to itunes.i recommend putting it into DFU mode. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34v8HMC9B98 this should better explain it. if i find another way, ill keep u updated

Hi Drbobdog, there shouldn't be a compatibility with Android OS 2.2.3. There may be a compatability with the device itself.

Hello again Graham,sorry I spelt your name wrong on my last post ... Ok I went to the device manager and found a yellow mark. I went to it and selected re install driver. I then re booted my pc. I now have no yellow marks in the list but my pc still wont recognise my iphone.
Could I try anything else ?

What do you mean it is not working? Does it power on? Is it recognized in iTunes? Need a bit more detail in order to assist you here.

Firmware update won't work after you've tried the Narf/Blanka method?
Many ppl have reported that their Firmware update won't work after they've tried the Narf/Blanka method for Dualbooting Windows. [For some reason, it doesn't).

Fortunately, it isn't necessary To Reformat etc... (at least for the firmware update) Apparently, as long you boot from a different Disk to the one you've 'messed with' - such as , say, an external FW Drive, the Firmware updater works.
Had the same problems, same reasons on a 20". Booting from external FW Drive made it happen for me.
May someone be helped by this e-missive....Sorry: the above is (partly) wrong ... - it'll get you past the firmware update but won't get you past the Boot Camp Assistant ... - it wants to see a single partition No matter what ...
[Just for that, I'm gonna see if I can mess with the 'can't do this on an external drive' requirement ... by moving an external to internal then back out again grin)

well, thanks for suggestions ... but problem persists.
When starting ff in safe mode, some times i have video and sometimes i don't.
It is just like starting ff in ordinary mode - sometimes there is a problem with video and sometimes not.
However, the video problem occurs more times than when it goes ok.
I unticked the hardware acceleration box but it made no difference.
Also I have played around with all the add -ons and (only 4) extensions ,disabling and enabling them, to no effect.
The odd thing is that this video problem is not always consistent
- sometimes it occurs and sometimes it doesn't..
I have webroot anti-virus and it tells me that my laptop is clean.
There is no Video problem in chrome and IE.
.....A few times in the past, this problem occurred but things came right by themselves.
