View Buffering not possible, Transport restricted

Hi Frnds,
I have created a view when I am going to activate the view it is giving me warnings like
All fields are evaluated as key field
Key field KWMENG has num. type QUAN: Buffering not possible, Transport restricted
Key field KBMENG has num. type QUAN: Buffering not possible, Transport restricted
Key field NETPR has num. type CURR: Buffering not possible, Transport restricted
Key field KZWI1 has num. type CURR: Buffering not possible, Transport restricted
Because of these warnings I am not able to transport this view into production.
What might be the reason?

1)Goto RSA6 --Search for ur datasource
2)Click on the same and go to Change Mode
3)Goto the Extract Structure.
4)U can find four TABS there
5)Goto Currency/Quantity Fields.
In that TAB specify for that Obejct the Comp type ,data type,lenght and Decimal.

You should use characteristic data types while using key fields for a buffered table. If you use NUMC , it will work.

Video/Screen Sharing via 3G connection not possible - port restrictions?

I'm running Jabber-based iChat AV 5.0.3 sessions from my MBP connected to the Internet via a wireless USB modem 3G/UMTS (German Telekom D1 network). My buddies are connected to the Internet via regular broadband connections (DSL). I have set up a hosted Jabber server via Dreamhost (without SSL, port 5222 used).
Status Quo:
- Contact status of remote Jabber users shows up properly. All buttons (text chat, screen sharing, video) are available (not greyed out) on both sides.
- Text chat works fine.
- Video chat and screen sharing can be invoked from both sides (confirmation window shows up), but after confirmation the initiation process doesn't finish successfully. The video/screen sharing session doesn't run. *iChat AV shows a message indicating that it doesn't receive an answer from the remote user device.* If the iChat session is initiated from a buddy's computer, the buddy gets the same message respectively.
- For testing purposes, I changed the internet connection on my MBP from the mobile 3G USB modem to a regular *DSL broadband connection (same ISP, German Telekom). In this scenario, video/audio calls and screen sharing work flawlessly!* Therefore, I assume that the problems in 3G connection mode is caused by the ISP (German Telekom) blocking/restricting ports required by iChat AV for initiating the video call and streaming the data on their 3G network.
Is there any way to bypass ISP restrictions, by either changing specific iChat AV port settings on both ends (client devices) or by port forwarding? If yes, which settings should I change? Unfortunately, it's couldn't find any document indicating which ports are opened/allowed by German Telekom's 2G/3G (GSM/UMTS) network.

Hi,
Does this 3G device have any set up functions that are on your Mac ?
If it does not it is likely that it is wide open to all Port (65535 of them).
I presume that in System Preferences > Network you see a Public IP when using this device ?
Again this would tend to pint to all the ports being open.
Is there anything on the ISP's web site that suggests this device is unsuitable to be used with VoIP or SIP connections ?
VoIP (Voice over the Internet) uses the SIP connection process the way iChat does.
Most likely the issues is the way packets are sent.
When you do a download, for instance, do you find the speed increases in the first few minutes ?
When some data packets are sent over the Internet the next one is not sent until confirmation that the first has arrived.
This Latency effects Point to Point WiFi (antenna to Dish on House) and satellite connections mostly particularly when it is a two way thing.
It can effect Mobile/Cell phone type connections.
What sort of Speeds are you getting on the 3G device ?

Do these seem to get faster as the time proceeds ? (this can be difficult to spot).
The Log mentions one end being at just over 2Gbps although it does not make it clear which end.
As the Remote end is the end that reports "Router: Port Restricted" and it works over standard DSL we have to presume they have the ports open.
You could try restricting iChat 's Bandwidth in iChat menu > Preferences > Video Section to 500kbps (try it at both ends)
If that does not work try 200kbps
This may stop iChat from trying to send data too Fast for the Network Connections.
Realistically there are a few too many variables here.
It could be Speed of data throughout at the Initiation point. (Slow Start up of data transfer)
It could be an Internal setting preventing SIP.
It could be that the 3G network sends and receives data by different routes.
(I have seen this once when a ISP was repairing some Cabling. To maintain end user speeds they managed their own network to split Incoming and outgoing data to the end point.)
iChat does not like this as it checks the IPs and the Hops (number of intermediate stages/servers) and if the data is different it will not connect (Man in the Middle attack protection).
I can't remember the last time I knew of someone being successful with either an 3G USB dongle or a 3G phone as Modem (internet Sharing).
Despite my ideas I think you will be unlucky and this will not work.

Not possible to restrict BI content installation?

In my attempts to restrict RSA1 to display access, I have created an empty role and provided only 2 transaction codes: RSA1 and SU53 (for analysis). Having given this bare minimum, practically everything is "restricted" or display-access only in RSA1 except BI Content.
When I click "BI Content", and choose an InfoPackage under "Object Types", I am able to install this InfoPackage. Is there anyway to restrict the installation of BI Content at all? Keeping in mind my role has only provides access to RSA1 and SU53, it should NOT allow me to install any content.
Any suggestions are greatly welcome! As an aside, I did not even add S_RS_ADMWB and still, I can execute RSA1 and run okay.

To me, the objects that seem to require restriction under BI Content would be: CONT_ACT and CONT_ADMIN. Including these objects and setting the ACTVT to '03' still yields the same result. Even when I set ACTVT to '03' and include '*' for all objects - still the same, I am able to install and activate BI Content (InfoPackages).

If it is an app compatibility issue - it IS the app developers responsibility to make sure that they update their apps in order to work with the new iOS. Apple owes no users a warning whatsoever. Common sense tells me that a very old app that has not been updated for the last two iOS updates just might not make the grade in the third iOS release since the app came out.
I can't even find an App called Top 3 Solitaire in the U.S. App Store. Perhaps the app was so old and it hasn't been updated in so long so it was pulled from the App Store.

View of Component Is Not Visible. Navigation Is Not Possible

Hi All,
I have copied Window1 into Window2 and when I try to navigate from view1 to view2 in the copied window(window2),the dump "View of Component Is Not Visible. Navigation Is Not Possible " is thrown.
I have tried recreating the navigation links in the second window as well,but no luck.
Can any one please help me out,this is very uregnt...

Hi Salma,
Are you trying to navigate between the views of 2 different windows? If that's the case then you can proceed as follows:
Create 2 views and 2 windows and assign first view to first window and second view to second window. Also create an [exit plug|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/48/ca3351508f04e7e10000000a42189c/frameset.htm] for window1 with parameter URL of type string.
Note:
when you create windows automatically an interface view will also create with same name.
Now create application1 for window1(nothing but give interface1 ) in the same way create another application and assign corresponding interface view.
Then write your logic in the onAction method of view1,call the exit plug of window1 then pass the URL of second application.

Is it possible to view your photos while on icloud, example: I can view my notes, calendar and even find my phone. I see that there is an option to manualy delyete the photostream pix as well as retrieve them when restoring your idevice. So, why is it that I cant view the pix?

PhotoStream is designed only for shunting photos taken on one device onto all the others. You can't actually view the photos at icloud.com.
The exception to this is any shared Photostream: these can, if you so choose, appear on a web page:

2 consolidation routes, one transport layer - not possible

Hello everyone,
I have one DEV system and two QAS systems. Some of my development need to go to both of two systems, however some of them need to go to only one of my QAS.
So I have set up two transport groups: one link to both of two QAS and another one link to one of them. Because it is not possible for 2 consolidation routes with one transport layer, so there would be much of trouble when I need to transport my own development into that one QAS------I need to manually change the object directory entry/package for it first.
So I would like to know is there any way easier to set up the landscape so that the developer can easily choose the correct transport target in our situation?

please do not mix up transport groups (systems sharing one transport directory) with transport target groups.
If you have one development system DEV and two QA-Systems QA1 / QA2 then there are 3 options: Transport from DEV to QA1 only, transport from DEV to QA2 only and transport from DEV to both QA1 and QA2. To realize this, you need three consolidation routes starting in DEV. One with transport layer (say) ZQA1 pointing to QA1, one with transport layer (say) ZQA2 pointing to QA2 and on with transport layer (say) ZALL pointing to the transport target group which in turn points to QA1 and QA2. Then you need to create 3 packages (formerly: development classes) poining to one of these three transport layers. For example ZPACKZQA1, ZPACKZQA2, ZPACKZALL. Then when you create a programm you need to specify a package. Depending on the package you choose, the program will be transported to either QA1 only, QA2 only or both QA1 and QA2.

5900XT Dual View not possible!!

In the nview menu the only option i have is single display,
but i want to have cloned display on my desktop to TV but
it is not possible, WHY???
In single view i can choose between analog display and tv display
wihtout any problem.

p4 2.8 GHz

Windows XP pro (full update from windows update)
Tested with both the included drivers and newest drivers

I am trying to get data from HANA Virtual Data Model (VDM) from MDX connection in MS Excel. The VDM Views and models are visitble after the connection is successfully made.
But when I try to fetch the data, I get the following error:
"Creation of Temporary Table "BIMC_SETS" is not possible".
Can someone let me know how to resolve this?

I am getting the same error. We are trying to build a role for Adhoc reporting. The role has analytic privilege, object privilege with select on individual models in _SYS_BIC (models we want to expose and part of AP), object privilege on _SYS_BI with select and execute and also object privilege execute on REPOSITORY_REST.
I am able to execute the models using Lumira and Analysis for excel, however getting error with MDX connection.
Also we want to try and restrict direct ODBC access to HANA using query from excel. With the above privileges user is able to see all the M_ views and get data for it. Can we restrict this?
We are on SP6 rev 67.

I dont want to block it in MK06 or XK06 or in source list.

Specifying an element attribute containing a colon not possible

Hello everybody
Might be a stupid question... I'm trying to define a datatype in XI (3.0 SP16) integration repository. This datatype has one root element and some child elements. The root element requires some attributes, one named "xmlns:xsi". Unfortunately this is not accepted from XI! The colon is not accepted.
So how do I specify such attributes in XI datatype elements?!?

Hi Renaud,
indeed, this is a sophisticated problem. Indeed, the xsi:schemaLocation-attribute, according to the xsd-specification may occur in every instance document. Therefore it is not necessary to describe it in the schema. Indeed, the xsd specification explicitly forbids to have this attribute specified in your schema.
Hence, there is no way to specify in a XSD file that a receiver expects the occurance of this attribute. As the graphical mapping tool of XI totally relies on XSD there is currently no easy way to tell the mapping-tool that it has to produce this attribute.
In a first glance I would view it as an inappropriate restriction from a receiver that it forces the sender to send this attribute. As XSD does not provide a possibility to specify this restriction it, in my opionion, contradicts the sence of XSD to require it.
Anyway, if there is no other way, you may manually extend the XSD such that it contains the reference to that attribute. Formally the result would be no correct XSD anymore, as the XSD specification prohibty to model this special attribute. However, this restriction is currently not checked by XI. Hence, you could upload this file as External Definition anyway. Then the mapping-tool could be forced to produce that attribute.
Note, that the mapping-tool might use another namespace prefix for the namespace "http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" (not necessarily xsi). But, as I have indicated in this forum once and again, the string used as namespace prefix should not matter.
Anyway, this is a workaround, and it probably requires some knowledge on XSD to perform it. Thus, the preferable solution would be to convinve the receiver, not to require that attribute.

If statement within a view is not working correctly ?

maybe i am wrong but i think the if statement within a view is not working correctly. See code down below.
I would like to use the Hallo World depending on the page attribute isFrame with or without all the neccessary html tags. Therefore i have embedded the htmlb tags in an if statement. But for any reason if isframe is initial it isn't working. It would be great if anybody could help me.

The short answer: your example is NOT going to work. The long answer will probably 5 pages to describe. So first let me rewrite the example so that it could work, and then give a short version of the long answer. Do not be disappointed if it is not totally clear. It is rather complicated. (See the nice form of IF statements that are possible since 620.)

You can see that your ENDIF statements are closing IF blocks generated by the BSP compiler. Such a nesting will not work. This is a very short form of the problem, there are a number of variations, and different types of the same problem.
The only way to solve this problem, is probably to put the body into a page fragment and include it like I did above with the duplicate HelloWorld strings. But this duplicates source code. Better is to put body onto a view, that can be processed as required.

Within the doDML method in my PatientImpl class, I have implemented this snippet of code to insert a record into the TransactionLog entity after an insert into the Patient entity.

What am I doing wrong ? My View object is called TransactionLogView and my business components package is hmdclinical.customactiondemo.model.bc4j ??

Also - is it possible to perform the insert and then requery the same row to check for data in other columns on the table had that been populated by a trigger as the result on the insert performed by my business rule code ?? If i make the attribute refresh after update can I do a
row.setAttribute
view.insertRow(row)
row.getAttribute ??
How else would I get the values back from the row just inserted ??

Till mount it goes fine but when i attempt to open it throws me an error.

In my case the issue has fixed by executing the following..
grant SELECT on SYS.USER$ to XDB;
grant SELECT on SYS.USER$ to CTXSYS;
grant SELECT on SYS.USER$ to DVSYS;
grant SELECT on SYS.USER$ to LBACSYS;
grant SELECT on SYS.USER$ to APEX_040200;
grant SELECT on SYS.USER$ to DV_SECANALYST;
