View differents between 9 & 10

When I open a PDF in Acrobat 9 the page window will fill my monitor, as if I have hit the little green plus sign for the document window in Acrobat 10. When I open a document in Acrobat 10 the window does not fill the monitor until I click on the little green plus sign in the upper left of the window. I'm on Mac OS Mountain Lion the latest, greatest. I just don't see anywhere in preferences to make the initial document window open as it does in Acrobat 9.

Since it opens differently in the two versions, the initial view is not set in the document, but in your your Acrobat. Assuming the process is the same as on a PC, go to Edit>preferences>Page Display and set your default. The document properties will override this setting, but it is what you asked about.

-the user_sy_privs shows the system privileges the current user is really using during its session
-the session_privs view shows the system privileges the current user can use during its session(he does not use them obligatory)

  • Difference between refresh of Report in Active Viewer and Active Studio BAM

We use the Oracle SOA Suite with BAM (on Linux) 10.3.2.0.
    I have 2 questions:
    1. We have made a report with several items and in Active Studio --> Select Report --> Edit mode --> I see the correct values for my report. When I open my report in Active Viewer I see data from yesterday. The report is not being refreshed. How can I change this, what is causing this difference between Active Viewer and Active Studio in Edit mode??
    2. One of my items in my report always gives the message: opening (only in Active Viewer, in Active Studio/edit mode I can see the correct data).

Is your popup blocker turned off? I can only imaging that the popup blocker may be keeping the Live Data window from appearing and updating the dashboard. Active Studio doesn't do a Live update, but an update on report load.

  • Difference between materailized view and a table

    hey hiii
i want to know what is a difference between a materialized view and a table i.e suppose i create a table A and another table B on table A i have created a trigger which will upload all the changes made in A ie insert, update or delete so whether this will perform all the action that a materialized view can perform on A or is there any difference between them
    thks

I'll add to Nicolas' answer that the MV maintenance does have access to mechsnisms other than row-by-row replication of the trigger-based type. Direct path inserts to the base table are very efficiently propagated to the MV, as are partition-based DDL operations. Also MV's come with optional query rewrite built in (you need 10g+ to query rewrite to a non-MV data set), and scheduled refresh so you can defer maintenance of the data set until later.
MV maintenance can be less efficient though -- you may know something about the data and the way that it changes that allows you to write more efficient meintenance than the MV code.

  • Difference Between G/L View and Entry View in New G/L Accounting

    Hi,
Can anyone tell me the difference between the G/L View and Entry View in New G/L Accounting as we are upgrading from 4.7 to 6.0.

    Hi,
Entry view is the view to show how you have done data entry while posting a transaction and general ledger View is the document splitting view, where system will show you the split posting which system creates on its own.
Example given by Alex above is general ledger View, ie: how system would split the line items based on base item categories.

    V$SQL_PLAN
    DBA_HIST_SQL_PLAN
dbms_xplan.display_cursor functionV$SQL_PLAN-this is dynamic perfomance view which contain execution plan information for each child cursor loaded in the library cache.
DBA_HIST_SQL_PLAN- data dictionary view also contain execution plan information for each child cursor bun in workload repository.Actually this view captures information from V$SQL_PLAN and is used with the DBA_HIST_SQLSTAT .
dbms_xplan.display_cursor - function displays explain plan of any cursor loaded in the cursor cache. See more information below links:

  • Is there any difference between 10g and 11g M Views?

    Hi,
I need to give a demo on and working examples of materialized views. The requirement is this: Master tables are in a 10g R2 DB, MV is in a 11g.
I just create a DB Link in 11g to point to the 10g DB and then create the MV in 11g.
Will there be any problems creating a 11g MV using 10 Master tables?
My question is are there any significant differences between 10g and 11g MViews??
    Thanks & Regards,
    Channa.

You have to be careful about your versions. 10g could be 10.1 or 10.2 11g could be 11.1 or 11.2
    I wouldn't have an 11.2 database with a database link against a 10.1 database.
In fact, even with 10.2, I would try to ensure that I have a "high patchset" (10.2.0.4 or 10.2.0.5) although, in theory, 10.2.0.1 should also work.

  • Difference between SAP CRM 6.0(2007) and 7.0 webui point of view

  • Difference between INLINE view and WITH clause

Can anyone plz explain me about the performance difference between the below queries?
    Query using INLINE view:
    SELECT e.ename AS employee_name,
    dc.dept_count AS emp_dept_count
    FROM emp e,
    (SELECT deptno, COUNT(*) AS dept_count
    FROM emp
    GROUP BY deptno) dc
    WHERE e.deptno = dc.deptno;
    Query using WITH clause:
    WITH dept_count AS (
    SELECT deptno, COUNT(*) AS dept_count
    FROM emp
    GROUP BY deptno)
    SELECT e.ename AS employee_name,
    dc.dept_count AS emp_dept_count
    FROM emp e,
    dept_count dc
    WHERE e.deptno = dc.deptno;

    Here's another one:
    http://www.oracle-base.com/articles/misc/WithClause.php
And, here on this forum you will see that the WITH-clause is heavily used by all of us in order to generate some sample data (when OP's don't care to post CREATE TABLE + INSERT INTO statements).
The WITH clause enables you as well to 'pretend' you have a table and demonstrate a solution very quickly, without doing actual DDL .
    As for the performance difference:
We would need to know your database version and many other things.
    See:
HOW TO: Post a SQL statement tuning request - template posting
for step by step instructions you can (and should) explore yourself.

  • Difference between Discover Desktop, Plus, Viewer

What is the Difference between Discover Desktop, Plus, Viewer,
i think these are all for Business User only,,,,and Discoverer Administrator is not for Business user..
    Suresh

    Hi Suresh
You're right, up to a point.
Administrator is certainly not a user tool, whereas Plus and Viewer and certainly not used by admistrators. However, because one Desktop license comes with every Administrator license, Desktop is not only used by end users. It can be used for administrators for testing out new functionality that has been added. Administrators do this rather than having to log into Plus to test out a new business area.
Desktop has far less functionality than Plus, although both are report creation tools, whereas Viewer is what it says it is - a report viewing tool.
A few months ago Russ Proudman, once of the main answerer of questions in the forums, went though an exercise with the members of the forum identifying the differences between the tools. You'll find the results on Russ' website here: http://www.proudman.homestead.com/files/disco_diffs.html
