View iCloud calendar in Outlook 15

I am looking at using Outlook 15.4 for Exchange and iCloud mail/calendar/contacts and I am having issues.  I can add the iCloud account and my mail works fine however I am unable to view my iCloud calendar and contacts.  I am running Yosemite and I am up-to-date to updates.  Is this possible and if so what are the steps to get this to work correctly?
Thanks.

Can you help me?  I have an iPhone4s and an iPad Air.  Dell PC with Outlook.  The calendar will sync iPhone to iPad, but I cannot seem to get the Outlook on my PC to sync with those mobile devices.  I've tried everything I know to do, all to no avail.
Try going through the troubleshooting steps under "Troubleshooting with Microsoft Windows (Microsoft Outlook)" in this article: iCloud: Troubleshooting iCloud Calendar, especially the part about making sure that the iCloud Outlook add-in is active within Outlook.

  • Viewing/subscribing to iCloud calendar in Outlook

I would like to view my private iCloud calendar in Outlook on my work PC.
Of course I tried the iCloud control panel for Windows but the corporate network filter prevents the control panel from accessing the internet (accessing icloud.com, dropbox.com etc is blocked).
Is there any way to just get read access, eg by subscribing to the calendar URL?

    Hi,
Let Person B create an other account on Outlook without iCloud, test if you can sync the attachment.
If the issue is only with the iCloud Application for Windows, it should be an iCloud issue, the support we can provide is quite limited. You should contact Apple/iCloud support on this, and I have found the your thread in Apple Support Communities. Good
    luck.

  • Share 2 iCloud calendars with Outlook PC

    Hi, firstly my set up:
    Home computer:
    Mac running  OSX 10.8.2
iCal 6.0 (or is just called 'Calendar these days - I'll call it iCal for short )
    Work computer:
    PC running Win7
    Outlook 2007
iCloud Control Panel installed, and configured using my existing iCloud account
    Phone/mobile:
    Me - iPhone, iPad
    wife: iPhone
    Desired use case:
I have my work diary, managed from my PC, viewable (and editable) from my iPhone, iPad, iCal (locally on Mac), and I have my 'Personal' diary on iCal
I've also set up a 'Family Diary', the purpose of which is for my wife and I to enter all events that we both need to be aware of, mainly evening and weekend events.
I have set up the 'Family Diary' to be shared with my wife and also my work e-mail address as I need to be able to view the Family Diary, and ideally add/edit it from within Outlook
It works fine with my wife's iPhone and her instance of iCal across 2 Macs
    Problem:
When I set up my iCloud Control Panel on my PC and select Contacts, Calendars & Tasks, only the 'Personal' diary shows in Outlook.
If I send a share invite from my Mac to my work e-mail address, I get an invite to 'Join' the Family Diary but this links through to my iCloud webpage and I'm told I can't join a calendar I'm sharing.
I also notice that within my 'Personal in iCloud' calendar in Outlook if I enter an event here it does not show up in iCal or on my iPhone. I see the events entered in iCal in Outlook, but not the other way around
    Question (x2)
How to I get the Family Diary visable and editable in Outlook?
Does the iCloud Control Panel allow for editing a iCal diary within Outlook, or only really view events created in OS X or iOS?
Many thanks - I'm kinda tearing my hair out with this

UPDATE: the item entered into my Personal iCloud calendar in Outlook has just appeared on my iPhone. So it looks like the sync is 2 way.
However the main issue - having my Family Diary visible and editable in Outlook - very much remains

  • That's great I can see my iCloud calendar in Outlook, but can't see my Outlook calendar in iCloud???

That's great I can see my iCloud calendar in Outlook, but I can't see my Outlook calendar in iCloud.
Any ideas on this one? I don't want to copy the calendar into iCloud, because they wouldn't be in sync. How do I view my Outlook calendar in iCloud so that I can make changes in either place?

I have good news!!  I was waiting until I had adequate time to try this recommended fix in case I had any problems with it.  Then I decided to enter a new event in my Calender even tho it was showing "No Calenders".  As soon as I entered the new event my whole Calender came back!  Yeeaaa!  I hope this helps someone with the same problem.

  • Appointments emailed from iCloud calendar in Outlook are not received on IOS device using exchange calendar.

I email tons of appointment invitations from my iCloud calendar in Outlook.  Appointments synch to IOS devices and are on icloud.com.  People receive invitations in Outlook and on IOS devices.  My husband runs IOS devices with exchange calendars.  He never receives the appointment invitations.  All of the appointment invitations are on his iCloud.com account.  Can he synch to both exchange and iCloud?  WIll this allow him to see the invitations I send that are hung up in iCloud?

Is there a way to view my iCloud calendar in Outlook (similar to how this link describes it for a Google calendar):

    What tasks, from what application?
In calendar view? Tell me what you mean by calendar view?
In the calendar app, you can choose Agenda, People or Schedule view (while in the Calendar app, touch the top blue bar dropdown arrow on the right and choose.
Also, in the Hub, pull down the list and you'll see the next 2-3 scheduled events.

  • How do I sync multiple iCloud calendars with outlook

I am running Outlook 2007 (not exchange) on a PC and want to sync multiple (3-4) iCloud calendars with Outlook. Currently I am syncing only one and works great, but I am having a terrible time on setting up additional iCloud Calendars. Any suggestions?

    Diesel -
    First, Thanks for responding!!!
Second, I've got it syncing with one, and only one, of the calendars so I know that it can. The question that I have is if there is a way to sync with multiple calendars and if so how do I do it. I've got the one working by having iCloud sync with one of my calendars in outlook and my phone sync with iCloud. Does anyone have an idea how to accomplish this?

  • Is there a way to automatically update events in the Outlook 2010 calendar when adding events in the iCloud calendar in Outlook 2010?

I am using Windows 7 and Outlook 2010. I have synced my Outlook calendar with my iPhone using the iCloud Control Panel. This is great, but when I add an event in the iCloud calendar in Outlook 2010 and subsequently send out invitations to the event, I get the following error:
"This meeting is not in the Calendar folder for this account. Responses to this meeting will not be tallied. Do you want to send anyway?"
I select "Yes" and the invite goes out. However, when invitees receive the email invitation, there should be 2 emails - one from Outlook and one from iCloud. The iCloud invite does not always come through. If the invitee responds to the Outlook email invite, it does not show up on the iCloud Calendar.
Is there a reason that the iCloud email is not always sent or is there a way to some how update the Windows Outlook Calendar when adding events in the iCloud Calendar through Outlook?

I have just discovered this problem as well.
    Very annoying!
Now all off my meetings entered in Outlook on my desktop PC are not syncing with my ipad and iphone.
If I had known this would have happened I would never have downloaded Version 2.0 of the icloud control panel.
Does anyone know how I can get the earlier version back?

  • How do I delete iCloud calendars from Outlook 2010?

I installed the iCloud control panel on my Windows 7 PC.
The results were not what I expected.
I wish to remove the iCloud calendars from Outlook. The program is not allowing me to do this.
I have already uninstalled the iCloud control panel from my PC.
    Any help would be appreciated.

I had the same problems with iCloud and this thread helped me get rid of the duplicate calendars.  Thanks!  Things are mostly back to normal.  But even though my iCloud calendar appears to be gone, I'm now getting two reminders for every event.  Any idea how to get rid of the duplicate reminders?
More info: Using Win 7 and OL 2007. The only calendar selections available are my normal calendar and my archived calendar. The events that are sending out reminders don't appear in the archived calendar.  Under Other Calendars I still see a calendar group called "iCloud" but there's nothing under the title.  Nothing extra shows up in Data File Management.  I tried this suggestion but don't see any duplicated events:

  • Syncing iCloud Calendar with Outlook for Mac (new Outlook)

Does anyone know if it's possible to sync your iCloud Calendar with Outlook for Mac yet (Outlook for Mac is the new Outlook that comes with Microsoft Office 365)? If so, how do you do it?
I've done some research on this question, and most of the responses are a few years old... wanted to see if anything has changed since. I find it weird how I can sync my iCloud Calendar with Outlook 2013 on my PC, but not with Outlook for Mac on my Mac--which is practically the same thing.
    Thanks ahead of time!

    Greetings kipp0606,
If you would like to use iCloud mail in an email client, you may want to review the following article. It contains the mail server settings you'll need to set it up:
iCloud: Mail server settings for email clients - Apple Support
Use these mail server settings if you need to manually set up your email app (client) to use an iCloud email account.
Do you need these mail server settings?
You can use the mail server settings in this article to manually set up your email app to send and receive email with an iCloud email account. However, you shouldn't need to do that if you meet the iCloud system requirements and can use any of these setup methods:
OS X Lion v10.7.4 or later: Use iCloud Preferences.
Microsoft Windows with Microsoft Outlook 2010 or later: Use iCloud for Windows.
iOS 7 or later: Use iCloud settings.
If you're using the Mail app in OS X Snow Leopard v10.6, use the mail server information in the iCloud Mail setup instructions for Snow Leopard instead of the settings below.Mail server settings
Refer to your email app's documentation for information about how to use these settings. iCloud Mail uses the IMAP and SMTP standards supported by most modern email apps. iCloud does not support POP.
IMAP information for the incoming mail server
    Server name: imap.mail.me.com
    SSL Required: Yes
If you receive errors when using SSL, try using TLS instead.
    Port: 993
Username: The name part of your iCloud email address (for example, emilyparker, not [email protected])
    Password: Your iCloud password
SMTP information for the outgoing mail server
    Server name: smtp.mail.me.com
    SSL Required: Yes
If you receive errors when using SSL, try using TLS or STARTTLS instead.

  • How do I set up multiple iCloud calendars in Outlook?

I am trying to run to two iCloud accounts in Outlook. One is my own, private, the other is a shared account for my family. The shared family account is mainly used for calendaring (shared family calendar). I have set up my private account using iCloud Control Panel. Since this can only handle one account I need to find a way to set up the family account in Outlook. I have set up an IMAP account in Outlook for the family iCloud account, but this only gives me the mail.
How do I get the iCloud calendar for the family account into Outlook? (Without using iCloud Control Panel since that would remove my private iCloud account, includig calendar)
Using Windows 8 and Outlook 2013

Interesting - I was sure I'd seen a note somewhere that it was only Mail, but this article:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts4020
    does say
Your secondary iCloud accounts can be set up and viewed in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars on your iOS device, or Apple () menu > System Preferences > Mail, Contacts, Calendars on OS X Lion. You may choose to do this if you have a second iCloud account and need to access its Mail, Contacts, or Calendar data.
Note: While you can configure multiple iCloud Mail accounts in iOS, Push mail will only work for the primary iCloud account in iOS. Secondary account(s) will check for mail based on the settings in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Fetch New Data.
It's not something I can test - I suppose the second account's data gets added to the lists in iCal and Address Book?

  • Syncing iCloud Calendar with Outlook 2007

    Hi
Trying to sync my iCloud calendar with my Outlook 2007 one and can't seem to do it. I have gone to the iCloud thing in the control panel and asked it to sync there but it doesn't. Afraid I'm not very good with computers, but what I have is a calendar on outlook which I use for work and one on the icloud calender which I use for personal things, and what I would like would be to view everything on my icloud calender and everything on my outlok calendar, but still enter things seperatly onthe two calendars.
    Does this make sense?
    Thanks

    Hello, John!
I see that you are not having and issue with the syncing between your computer and iCloud.  So we would need to look into the device settings to make sure all settings mirror what is set in the iCloud Control Panel.  I have included a couple articles that will assist you in troubleshooting your iPhone 5.  See the sections in the articles below referring to your iOS devices.

  • My iCloud calendar on Outlook 7 (64 bit) no longer displays any information but the info is still availble to send by email. so it seems it's n the background on the my PC but doesn't display. Also the information is in the iCloud on-line calendar

. My iCloud calendar on my Lenovo Tablet PC running Outlook 7 (64 bit) suddenly stopped displaying any appointments. The data is still on my iPhone 4S and online in the iCloud server. Also strangely when I start typing a new appointment it displays the typing until I press ENTER when it disappears - BUT appears on my iPHONE! Seems like an OUTLOOK display problem.

You need to set 0 margin and padding on the body tag. Copy
    the following
into the head of your document just before the closing head
    tag (/head>)
Preferably it should go into an external stylesheet, but by
    the sounds of
things you are not using this as yet.
    <style type="text/css">
    <!--
    body {
    padding: 0;
    margin: 0;
background-color: White; /*change to suit whatever your
    background image is
    -->
    </style>

Once you have added the above to your page, you need to save
    the page as a
Template. You will be asked to create an editable region
    (which is the area
that will be changed on each child page created from this
    template).
The DW help files do offer some information on how to create
    Template
pages - that may be the first stop for you :-)

  • My icloud calendar on outlook 2010 wont sync invites from others!

    Hi All.
I have looked high and low for an answer to this but just cant find anything as is a little quirky.
I have the latest software on my iphone, I pad & PC (no 5) & I can sync via the cloud to my i pad, iphone & outlook 2010 green calander.
When I set up the Icloud control panel it changhed my outlook so that there were several calander tab at the top to work with namly
    The pc calander (in blue)
    The cloud calander (in green)
    Ipad (grey)
    Conflicts calander (pink)
    THE PROBLEM:
I can add an appointment in the, cloud (green calander) ipad (grey calander) conflicts (pink calander) and it will update the pc (blue calander) and therefore will update my Ipad and phone via the cloud (p/s the appointment shows as green)
    BUT:
If i add an appouintment in the pc (blue calander), then it still shows in the other calanders but it remains in "blue", meaning that the (Icloud does not see it and therefore it does not update my phone, i pad etc as it need to be in "green" or the icloud calander to do so.
    ALSO
If some one sends me an invitation to a calander entry it automatically puts it in the blue calander and giving me the same issue with syncing as above.
    hope you can help.
    regards

    I've been researching something similar.
In essence there is no "sync" at all. Outlook is configured to show its own default calendar, a representation of the iCloud calendar and an initial merge conflicts calendar.
If you put an entry into the Green calendar from Outlook you are changing the iCloud calendar in the cloud and the changes are propagated to iOS devices etc etc linked to the same iCloud account.
The blue (local outlook) calendar only shows up 'cos it's checked in My Calendars to the left.
Nothing you do in iCloud affects the Outlook default blue calendar, but changes made to the iCloud green calendar via Outlook work as you would expect.
So think of "parallel display of Outlook and Cloud calendar" rather than "synchronisation"

  • Does anyone know how to set alerts in the iCloud calendar of Outlook 2010 for PC?

Does anyone know how to set alerts in the iCloud calendar on Microsoft Outlook 2010 for a PC?  Outlook gives me a warning message and does not allow me to save alerts for calendar events created in iCloud calendar.  It will allow me to save events in the non-iCloud calendars.

Ignore what office says, when the warning comes up saying that the reminder will not work click on yes,
I just tested it and i had the reminder on my ihpone in outlook and also as i had the calendar open in safari it popped up on there too ( I wasn't aware it did that)
