View in iTunes button does not load iTunes software

This didn't use to be a problem as it worked fine before.
When I am on a web page that says view this in iTunes it is supposed to open my iTunes and allow me to download the App, Podcast etc. It doesn't. I get a web page that says 'you need to have iTunes' and I get a link to download it.
I have tried downloading it and reinstalling but that has not helped.
My iTunes works fine for syncing my iPhone to my iTunes, I use it all the time. So I know the ITunes is working.
There must be a setting somewhere that I need to tweak.
Any suggestions?

Works fine for me.
Worked fine for me until I started taking screenshots and thought it would good to illustate the "Remember my preference" button. Now it no longer does.
Uninstalling & reinstalling didn't help either. If I find a reliable way to renable I will let you know what I did.

The iTunes store does not load when I open it

So I recently had to install the latest version of iTunes after I upgraded to the newest version of iOS on my iPhone 4 (iOS 6.0.1) because the older iTunes version wasn't compatable with the newest iOS version. I had been using a much older version of iTunes becuase every time I would update the iTunes store without fail would stop working. I spent almost an entire day trying to fix it like 6-8 months ago and I finally got it to work with one of the older versions, which was why I was mad that I had to update it again.
Anyways, the iTunes store will not load at all. Everytime I open up iTunes on my computer (I have Windows Vista) and I try to go to the iTunes store, it never loads. It keeps saying "Accessing iTunes Store" (see image). I have tried to wait it out, but nothing ever changes.
I have already tried reinstalling iTunes and tried reinstalling the newest version, neither of which helped. I also tried what they suggested at http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4123 but the only item that came up under the Winsock Providers tab was the Apple one.
Not sure what else to do. Any suggestions?

That's exactly like saying, "Hey, try this. It didn't work either. Good luck!"
It's the high-percentage play with the particular symptom set being reported. High-percentage implies that it doesn't work for some people. (Otherwise it'd be a 100% play.) So, it still makes sense for people to try it, even if it doesn't work for some people, because it does work for most people. Check other posts by wiclee using that set of instructions to get a better feel for the reliability of the advice in these circumstances. (Granted, that's a bit tricky given that only about 10-20 percent of people report back to say whether or not any advice (on any given topic) actually works.)

Itunes library does not load

Itunes library, on local hard drive and in default location, does not load. The preference is pointing to the right place and reset doesn't do anything.
This is what I did last. I had manually copied files directly in to /user/music/itunes/itunes music/ while I tunes was still running. Could this have damaged the library?

It is usually best to let iTunes do the work and use the 'keep' and 'copy' features.
If you move things around from the Finder then iTunes loses its' reference to the tunes. If you do the work from within iTunes and you will have fewer problems.
If the tunes are in the correct locations (/user/music/itunes/itunes music/) then from within iTunes select the 'Add' option from the File menu - select a tune or 2 as a check - are they now in the library? If so the 'add' the rest.

ITunes 11 does not load songs onto iPhone 4S from XP notebook

I converted songs on CDs we own to MP3 and loaded them onto my wife's XP notebook. iTunes 11 found them and built a library from them. Synchronizing her iPhone 4S through her XP computer does not load the songs onto her phone. When I first synchronized my iPhone 4S through iTunes 11 on my Windows 7 computer, iTunes found MP3 music files on my computer, built a library, and uploaded them to my iPhone without any prompts from me. Why can I not get songs in MP3 to load from my wife's computer to her iPhone?

ITunes 10 does not load

I recently received a notice for the Apple updater thingy to upgrade to iTunes 10. I did so, as I do every time there is an update, and it appeared to install successfully. After I restarted my computer and tried to access it, however, I had a problem. The program failed to open. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it multiple times, restarted my computer, and done most everything I can think of. I'm very confused as to why this would happen. When I click on the button newly created to open it, the computer thinks for a minute, and then nothing happens. It does not open. The task manager shows a Process open for iTunes, but not an application, which is what I need to work with. I don't know what could have caused this problem, and I'd appreciate any help or advice.

However, I think the base problem is the fact that the developers did not test the software to ‘fail’ with most popular loading scenarios. (The differing variations of Windows.) I have done the ‘9.2.1’ sub load fix but it is not a proper solution to the issue and only the Apple/iTunes bod’s can develop do this correctly.
I still get with the iTunes 10 and 9.2.1 interlace fix, the “iPodServices Module (32-Bit)” error reporting message on starting iTunes 10 for 3 times then ITunes 10 kicks into life and it is painfully slow. I have three machines and I run “Win XP Pro (32 bit), Windows Vista (64 bit) and Windows 7 (64 bit)” and I am very loathed to load iTunes 10 into the two latter machines until an updated version of iTunes 10.X.X is developed and proven to work in Beta form and on lots of Beta tester machines.
I am not trying to be negative with some of my comments above, just generating constructive criticism.

Itunes store does not load but everything else works

I have a problem opening the store. When I click on the store the access bar goes about half way and stops. Then after 60 seconds it disappears and the store is not displayed. It is a blank window. No error messages appear. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but this did not work. I have turned off my firewall and this does not work. I am using the latest version of iTunes.
The computer is a Vista 64bit OS. I have another computer that has no problems on the same network so there are no networking issues. It is just this one computer. This did happen once before and I reinstalled at that time which resolved the issue. Now it seems permanently broken. I even reviwed the computer event messages and there are no clues there.
Any ideas? Any log files I can locate and review?

"Skyfall" the movie will not load all the way through

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.

ITunes store does not recognize iTunes on my computer

I installed iTunes on my conmputer - even reinstalled it by following online Apple instructions to the letter regarding uninstalling ALL Apple software, etc. - whenever I visit the iTunes store and make a selection to purchase, the page I get taken to always reads something like "in order to download your selection, you must have iTunes installed on your computer." I always get this without fail... I got it before I reinstalled and after. The site does not recognize my iTunes software that I have installed. I have consulted with various Apple support people and I get the runaround all the time and never a direct answer... most of the time, they don't even respond.

Ok thanks for the help, i managed to do all that, included another port (443) which was mentioned in another article, to no avail. Same problem.
I did all sorts of tests and i am firmly convinced it's got something to do with the router, but your solution didn't work.
The router is the same i used before.
I also use a range extender, same as i used before (linksys RE1000).
The problem had occurred before, but it went away on its own. Now it has been happening for a week with no relief.
It started when i bought a new computer. I de-linked the ATV library and re-linked to the new machine. I sold the old machine, so i still have only one.
Well, the syncing is super slow over my wireless network. So i thought i'd put the ATV linked by ethernet cable diretly to the router. Instead of making it sync faster, it simply froze (amber light steadily on).
I thought i'd lost the hardware.
I then unplugged the ethernet cable and went back to the old set up. Got iTunes on the computer to see the ATV andgot it to sync, which took forever (like 3 days straight).
After this painful sync, i could not connect to apple store from the ATV, and hence can't play anything because it is there but 'not authorized'.
I then factory-reset the ATV, and had to do the syncing all over again: no result.
Tried all the other solutions (deauthorize, reauthorise, reboot, reset, change pwd, etc, nothing works).
Tried you rport forwarding, didnt work. Maybe the range extender makes it not work?
I also use dynamic IPs, so could that be a problem?
I am at my wits' end and i know only one thing: APPLE *****. I will NEVER AGAIN buy anything from this company. Anyone knows if there is any other hardware that would work like an apple TV? I have a lot of unwatched, expensive shows...

Itunes store does not load

I am unable to connect to itunes store. There is no error message showing. Just the loading bar moves half way accross and then I am left with a white screen. I have checked the following; internet works fine, i am able to dowload music art, my firewall is not blocking it, i have gone through all the apple support queries around itunes store and cant find anything that has fixed it. I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled itunes, shut down my computer logged back on.. Nothing has been able to fix it..
Other issues i am having; i still have not updated my iphone to version 5.0.1 because it takes to bloody long.. So for now all i want to do is access the store so I can use a $20 voucher haha... if there is any other way of doing just this, rather than go through istore i would be happy for the help with that too..

Media Browser does not load iTunes Library

I was on GarageBand today and was trying to drag a song from my iTunes (via Media Browser) and nothing showed under my iTunes (playlists, songs, etc.) and I have over 4000 items on iTunes.
I also was trying to upload an attachment on GMail and media browser did not show my iTunes library there either. My screensaver is my album artwork and now it says that I do not have any album artwork. WHAT'S GOING ON?!
Thought all these problems were connected to each other so I thought I would put it all on one thread.

Home Sharing - Itunes library does not load and jumps to Music

Hi, I have 2 itunes libraries on 2 different computers on the same network using the same apple id. One of the computers is an IMAC and the other is windows.
On the windows computer when I click on the shared library (from the IMAC) the library appears from the IMAC. When I am on the IMAC and click on the shared library (from the windows computer) it looks like it is searching then jumps the "music" library, that displays the current library on the IMAC.

ITunes 10 will not load required software to use iPod touch

After installing iTunes 10, this is the message I get,,,
" This iPod cannot be used because the required software is not install. Run the iTunes installer to remove iTines, then install iTunes again. "
I have done this twice already and keep getting same message.
Note: Before installing iTunes 10,, iTunes 9xxx worked flawlessly, and unable to find and reinstall previous version.

Try right clicking on the movie then click on Advanced (at the top of the iTunes window) it gives you the option of creating an iPod/iPhone version .

Bing Search button does not load Bing App!!!!

When I press Bing search button which is on the right side of Windows button, it loads the IE desktop version of Bing instead of the Bing App. I tried with some setting chage in Region+Language and Location as per Microsoft Answer blog but all went in failed, please advice me how to bring back my Bing Search app

Thank you for your post.
You need to go to Region and Languages and scroll to the bottom and change the browser and Search Language to your region.
If the search language is not properly supported by the phone, it forces it to open the browser.
