View iPhone camera with iPod

I would like an app so I can link my iPod touch to my iPhone and use it to control my camera. Hold iPhone in one hand aim it and use the iPod to viwe what the camera sees and make it take a picture.

For the white screen try:
- A reset;
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Connect to your computer and try to restore via iTunes
- If still white screen. let the battery fully drain. After charging for an hour try the above again.
If still problem then it appears you have a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I get an error message that "charging is not supported" when plugged in using the only cable that came with my ipod touch. My ipod will charge for 5 minutes then when I check on it, I notice this error on screen and the ipod has stopped charging. Can't burn blank CD after installing CD that came with ipod nano

Can't burn blank CD after installing ipod software - I have the system prefs set to launch Toast 6 when inserting a blank disk, and the drive just churns and then ejects the CD. It mounts and runs burned music and data disks with no problem.
My job requires me to burn data disks from pictures I take at work. Should I re-install Toast? The OS? I ran Disk Utility to check/fix permissions, and no change.

The CD that came with the nano won't have anything on it that you won't get with a full iTunes install. In fact, it may have been an OLDER version of the iTunes software than what you had installed before.
I'd reccomend downloading the latest version of iTunes from Apple and installing that to rule out software reversion issues.
If the problem still exists, try booting into toast before inserting the blank disk and see if Toast can still burn to the CD. If it can, then odds are you have to re-instruct your computer to boot toast when a blank CD is inserted. If it can't see the blank CD, or the Finder spits it out again, then I think you'd have to re-install Toast.

Hi everyone I have a BRAND NEW iPhone 4 that I ordered. It says that it brings earphones with a mic and volume buttons,a usb cable, etc.... right ? But when I opened the box it came with earphones with mic but NO VOLUME BUTTONS Can I call apple or do I need to go to a apple store please any help would be appreciated !!

Upgrade Iphone Camera with Timer for Selfie addicts

Hello Apple,
I'm Dennis from Manila, Philippines. I think for the next upgrade for the Iphone should include a timer settings for the camera. As you can probably see a lot of people are getting monopad to take selfie pics. Instead of downloading an apps for a camera with a timer, I think Iphone camera should include a timer settings already.

IPhone SDK with iPod Touch 2G problem

I installed the SDK last night but when I went to plug in my iPod Touch 2G, I got the error message: 'Unable to locate a suitable developer disk image. Please re-install the SDK'
I have reinstalled the SDK many times but still get the same error message. Any help appreciated.

Start by calling Apple Support at the country number from http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57 as the info from the person you talked with is incorrect.
You can leave the MBP with a full charge with no problems, in fact that is the best thing to do.
The iPhone charging did not damage the MBP battery, the failure of that battery is another issue.
When you say you bought the MBP charger on-line, is it an Apple charger or third-party charger? Many thiord-party chargers do not output the correct power (voltage and current) for the computer and do cause damage to the battery and charging circuitry.
Talk with the Apple Support people and see what they recommend and how to proceed.

Using a Nikon 5400 camera with ipod

Has anyone managed to get a Nikon Coolpix 5400 camera to download to the latest Ipod. The camera has the correct file transfer protocol but is not included in the compatable camera list on Ipod's website, although they say "other cameras may also work". I want to know if it will work before I buy one of these Ipods.

For scanning? Does Nikon provide any scanning software?
Image Capture can be used for scanning. The commercial VueScan will probably work. You can go to their website and check to see if your scanner is compatible.

Well if you still want to receieve calls then don't put it in airport mode. Just select no instead of yes when selecting the airport mode.
you can still recieve calls while it is playing on the Hi-Fi if you select no for the airplane mode instead of yes.
I learned that tonight while playing my iPhone on my Hi-Fi.

The plastic sheet that came with ipod video

Hi, everyone
I kept on the plastic sheet that covers the front face of the new ipod for about a week after I bought it. Now I'm thinking to remove it. I am kind of worried about the damage to my screen when I remove the plastic sheet. Did you guys take extra caution when removing it or just leave it on always?

I took mine off as soon as I got it, and I put it right into a neoprene case with a plastic cover to protect the screen. Nothing happened to mine when I took off the plastic, so just peel it carefully and you should be fine.

NO CD came with iPod 5th Gen. Model MA146LL

I got my iPod 5th Gen. today model number MA146LL. I was saddend when I got home (about a two hour driver from the store) to find it did not have the software CD enclosed any idea where I can obtain a copy or download all that is on the cd? Please email me direct at [email protected]

It seems odd that you downloaded a version of iTunes your pc can't use. Sorry for asking the obvious, but are you sure you chose to download the pc version of iTunes? I suppose there could be a slim chance your browser may have not been correctly identified by Apple and it may have given you the Mac version of iTunes which obviously won't work. Make sure the file you are downloading is the .exe version, that's the one you need.
To the original poster, don't be too sad that your iPod doesn't come with a cd. Now the brand new 5.5G ipods do not come with a cd at all. Now that you can just download iTunes with the iPod updater built in, packaging the cd with any current iPod is just a waste.
