View iphone on pc????

Is there any way you can view your iphone screen on a PC?
Any help would be appreciated

Hi,
I checked out the contents of : http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310123 , but this doesn't really help much. It recommends rebooting the PC.. which I've already done a lot.
http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1538 was more useful. However, despite reinstalling all the drivers & USB drivers it didn't resolve the issue.
My music & My Documents folder is on a seperate hard disk, so a windows reset is not impossibly difficult. However it's still a pain in the *.
This is the 2nd time I've had to do format my hard disk to resolve this same problem, (last time was about 6 months ago). I suspect the driver has been corrupted by the Apple Updater program.
I suspect the solution is to remove all itunes files, drivers, associated programs and reset all operating files modified to initial install. The last part isn't easy.
What I don't understand is why the error sugests the same driver is already loaded into the memory. I've tried stopping programs loading from start up, etc, etc - still no joy.
Anyways... suppose I'd better get started with the format.
Thanks for your help.
A.

Are there any way to show Iphone screen onto laptop display?

You can, however, view the Mac display on your iPhone. Or stream video and music from your Mac, too.

How do you view iphone videos on ipad2?

You would have to sync them to your ipad or email them to yourself first. Then you should be able to open them and watch them.

  • View iPhone pictures on PC

I need to view iPhone pictures on my PC.  Numerous Google hints suggest using start/StartPrograms/Accessories/ScannerCamera but I cannot see ScannerCamera on the list.  I have iTunes installed and the Apple USB driver is being used when the iPhone is plugged in.  The PC does not recognise the nthmb format of the pictures.  Is there a program that will manage reading and viewing these photos as well as conversion the photos to a jpg format or such?

Connect iPhone to PC with USB Cable. On PC navigate to My Computer > Drives > Click on Camera > that is your iPhone.

  • Where do i view iphone calendar on pc, it's not on itunes

where do i view iphone calendar on pc, it's not on itunes.  it is supposed to be backed up somewhere on my pc labrinyth but search does not find it.

The iPhone's backup is in a SQLite database format. You can't view your iPhone's calendar data from your iPhone's backup.
Do you have an Apple iCloud account along with syncing your calendar events over the air with the account on your iPhone?
If so, do you have Outlook available on your PC?

  • Recently viewed iPhone photos no longer showing up in iPhoto. How can I retrieve them? Their disappearance might be due to a software update I was promoted to do.

Recent photos from my iPhone no longer appear in my iPhoto library, or at least I can't find them. I just looked at them in iPhoto yesterday or the day before. Baffling. Photos from my other device (camera) do show up okay, although the "Last 12 months" folder does not show anything more recent that August. The only thing I can think of that has changed is that I accepted a prompt for a software upgrade for my macbook earlier today. It might have had something in it that affected iPhoto (?). I have an EHD backup via time machine. Not sure how to get individual photos off of that, however.
Any ideas re. causes or solutions? Some precious photos in that missing batch.
    thanks!

View > Sort Photos.... and all the options under this are grayed out.
Is this the menu path you wanted me to follow?

  • Can't view iPhone files in new iTunes.

Prior to upgrading iTunes, I could see my iPhone and files (music, books, etc.) in the column to the left.  I cannot find this information in the current version of iTunes.

    Hey Bigbluen,
Thanks for the question. It sounds like you wish to turn on the Sidebar in iTunes 11. This will change the UI to look much similar to previous versions:
    iTunes 11: Frequently used features
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5649
Show or hide the Status Bar and Sidebar
In iTunes 11 you have the option to turn the Sidebar and the Status Bar on or off; they are off by default. To do this in the menus, go to:
    - Show Sidebar - Choose View > Show Sidebar (this feature will display iTunes features on the left side of the application including Library, Store, Shared, Genius, and Playlists).
    - Show Status Bar - Choose View > Show Status Bar (this feature will conveniently display the number of items and playback time for a category, for example, music or movies).
If you do not see the View menu, do the following:
iTunes: Turning on iTunes menus in Windows 8 and 7
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5610
To keep the iTunes menus active, change the setting by selecting the Menu icon in the upper-left, and then selecting Show Menu Bar. Alternatively, you can press Control-B.
    Thanks,
    Matt M.

  • Viewing iPhone Content On iPad?

Going abroad with my iPhone and my iPad and I am asking: can I view my iPhone content on my iPad? assuming with wi-fi or even better, without it?
    Thanks,
    Amnon

You can probably create a personal hotspot and then your iPad will be online. It's hard on the iPhone battery, but it works well. I do it.

  • Viewing iphone pictures on Win 7

I backed up pictures from an iphone 4 and 4S to a CD, because I ran out of phone space.  I tried to view those photos on my Windows 7 desktop, but it says it can't open them.  How do I see what I backed up?
    Thank you

Hmmmm. If you're up to date on your *Essential System Updates for Microsoft Windows 7* downloads from HP, you might already have the hotfix from the following Microsoft document. (It's included in version 1.1.) But just in case, I think it's probably worth applying:
[USB devices that are connected to a computer may not work after the computer is idle for more than one hour Windows 7 or in Windows Server 2008 R2|http://support.microsoft.com/kb/978258]

  • Best way to view iPhone sms and imessage messages from backup

Hello I have sms and imessage messages that I would like to export from my phone or computer to be viewed on another device.  I know there is a way to view texts through third party software and I was wondering if there is one that is  particularly good at it or if there was a native way to do it?  Any help would be much appreciated as these texts will be used as evidence in a court case so some kind a log format with timestamps would be ideal.

I actually purchased GoodReader because it is easy to transfer files without iTunes.  I dislike the file sharing through iTunes.   You can use a Mac or PC.  Once I was in the app I clicked the "Wi-Fi" symbol which brings me to "WiFi-transfer."  It will show this --
    "WiFi status: ON
Use one of the following addresses exactly as you see them
    1. IP-address: http://192.168.0.98:8080 <-- Local LAN address the iPhone is broadcasting on.
    2. Bonjour-address http://Myname-iPhone.local:8080"
All you have to do is type one of those addresses into your browser. (Safari, etc.)
It will take you to a page that has iPhone Connection and a list of options.  You can either create a new directory within the application or use an existing one to upload a text file.  It's rather simple, you just select "Choose a file to upload" > Select your file > Press upload > Start the app and see your text/pdf/whatever file.
You can also connect to a server to download a text file, browse the web, or enter a url.  I see it also has an ICloud folder which I'm not sure if it integrates with Apple's iCloud or not, I think it does.  I'm not affliated with the app and I'm not saying you have to buy it, I'm just a happy user.
If you don't want to buy this app let me know I'll keep looking for a free or cheaper one for you if you want.

  • How to view iPhone movies using Gen. 1 Apple TV?

I have the first gen. Apple TV. I want to view my videos that I have downloaded from my iPhone. For some reason, I am unable to see the vids on my Apple TV. Would anyone know what I must do in order to view them on my Apple TV? Thanks!

the original appletv does not support the playing of iphone videos without converting them first.
iphone records videos at 720p @ 30fps (assuming you are talking about iphone4). the original appletv only supports 720p @ 24fps.
so you would need to convert them first before you can play them on appletv.

  • How do I view iPhone pics on my PC?

When I sync my iPhone with my PC, the pics I took using my iPhone show up as "ITHMB" files. My computer won't open them with Microsoft Picture or several other photo applications I have. I found several sites that offer me a free download to open these type of iPhone picture files, but I don't trust them. Does Apple not provide us with a way to open and view on our PC the pictures we take with our iPhone?

here is a link that seems to have helped many windows users:
    http://www.tech-recipes.com/rx/2548/iphonetransfer_pictures_from_iphone_toxp/
    *+1. Click Start+*
    *+2. Click All Programs+*
    *+3. Select Accessories+*
*+4. Select Scanner and Camera Wizard+*
*+5. Select the iPhone out of your potential devices.+*
*+6. If you want to be able to manually copy pictures over in an explorer-like interface, click the advanced users only link. If you want to copy pictures over in a little wizard-like interface, click Next.+*
*+Using either the explorer or wizard interfaces will allow you to delete pictures as well. Using this method is obviously a lot quicker than deleting the pictures manually on the iPhone itself.+*
Another method is to get a Mac and just use iPhoto...

  • Viewing iphone photos on website

Took iphone photograph last night with iphone held horizontal. Downloaded - no problem.  Tidied using Paint shop and rotated - no problem.  Placed on website - on PC no problem but when I viewed on my iphone it was the unrotated version that was visible. Exactly same issue on viewing website on ipad. Advice on what to do? so that what is visible on PC is as what appears on iphone / ipad.

It is still an unanswered question for many people when the answer is right here and at a question I posted about getting my pictures to my PC from iPhone. It is as easy as using any digital camera and just requires that the PC is setup as most are to download pictures from a digital camera. You connect the iPhone to the PC with the usb cableand when asked to trust the PC say yes and continue and you will see the options open up as to what you want to do. Simply select let Windows import my pictures and it all happens automatically without any involvement of iTunes. You can even set Windows at that point to rename all the pictures or not.  The pictures are imported into a folder and that you can create and also are displayed in Windows search type folder. It could not be easier.

  • Viewing iphone as a drive on Mac

When I connect my iphone or ipad to my PC computer, I can view them both as drives through Windows Explorer. When I do the same to my Mac Mini, I cannot find a way to view them as drives. Is there a way to view these two items as drives on a Mac? I'd like to be able to access the files on the devices without having to download them to the computer.
    Thank you.

    No.
The iPad and iPhone does not present a USB disk interface to computers.
While I do not have a Windows system, I suspect that all you are seeing is the media library (pictures, music, videos, ...), not the entire iPad or iPhone storage.  And I'm thinking this is via special software that makes the media library API's look like a mounted file system.  The iPhone/iPad does not do that directly.
If I guessed wrong about what storage Windows is showing you, please correct my misunderstanding.
"iTunes", "iPhoto", and the "Image Capture" apps (plus 3rd party photo apps) can access the iPad and iPhone.  "Preview" -> File -> Import, can get things from your iPhone/iPad photo library.
In doing some Google research, I found iExplorer for the Mac <http://www.macroplant.com/iexplorer/download-ie3-mac.php> that effectively does the same thing as iTunes, iPhoto, Image Capture, Preview more or less.  I'm sure there are other utilities similar to iExplorer available.
